Lip smacking and finger sucking are my 2 biggest pet peeves in the world and immediately send me into a rage. Figure if I was ever locked up I would have to eat in the corner by myself to prevent me from flipping out.

Oh my goodness I just can't stand dragging feet. At my work I had these two women..grown women in their 40's and one in her 50's and they dragged their feet shoes to where you could hear them from a mile away and it just grinned my teeth and made me just want to just slap a person to next week. Worse than nails scratching on a chalk board. lol
Smart people have the worst time in lockup. Irrational stupid people are the hell of those that aren't. THAT is the worst thing. Period, end of story.

Grew up in white Suburbia. Never been in any real trouble. Never been to prison. Have a great job. Plenty of money. Cannot relate to any of these videos at all but damn it they are interesting to watch. Great channel. Keep up the good work. Subbed

Cool that you're talking about misophonia, I was diagnosed with it a few years ago. Often times I can't go to restaurants and I can't even eat with my family at home because of it.
My man. Let me tell you from personal experience. There are people who would PAY to hear these sounds. Myself as well. The sound of shuffling, clicking, tapping, glass breaking etc.... It's called "ASMR" and those sounds when done in a certain way will actually calm you and even make you feel tingly and euphoric. it's incredible.
Snoring pisses me OFF too lol. But some people actually find it calming. But yeah. I'd snap on some people for some snoring.
But yeah.... ASMR is HUGE now and it's funny how those exact sounds can be calmoning

I'm the same way if I'm around someone that chews with their mouth open and/or smacks their lips when eating I literally can't eat with them.

I have misophonia and those noises bother me as well you mentioned. This came on as a kid and carries on throughout life! You learn to live with it in many ways. BTW the eating and snoring..... It will drive me crazy as well.
Wow I'm extremely impressed that you are aware of misophonia and take it seriously. I haven't eaten a meal with my own family in 20 years except in a crowded restaurant (no exaggeration). All I know about it is that it's rare because I've never met anyone that hates the noise of open-mouthed chewing as much as I do and a lot of people just think I'm making shit up. Subscribed. One thing about it though is that the reaction is beyond annoyed intense. Neurological studies have shown that there's an associated fight or flight response to the noise and that regions of the limbic system get activated, whereas in the brains of normal people they do not. I don't know what I'd do in jail because I know I'd at least start acting strange even if an ass-kicking might follow. Wouldn't be able to help it.
I'm very selective on who I eat around because of this. I hate it too and rarely go to a restaurant I just order food to go so I can eat alone and not have to deal with it.
Man it's a major issue if you get a new cellie who snores. They gots to go. And hell yeah I'ma say something if they don't wash their hands after using the toilet.
I get bugged with loud phone calls that are about gossip and nothingness. Guess I’ll go ahead and stay out of that cage hahahahaha!!! Freedom is priceless

The danger with misophonia is that the fight or flight response is going to be triggered. One or the other is going to happen. It is uncontrollable and gets worse with continued exposure. Panic attacks. Rage. PTSD. Suicidal thoughts.
My ex husband used to snore and OMG i couldn't sleep at all!!!!!! I slept in another room i agree i can't do snoring i sleep far too lightly😅
Etiquette was a big thing in my family. Lots of rules as i went to boarding school so on breaks my mom made sure we followed same rules at home as at school .
when in public, be yourself just don't be RUDE. there's a line between being yourself as an asshole and being rude, and just being a reserved version of yourself, while still truly being yourself.

Aye Homie I'm a Christian too and recently went through some hard time caught three charges did 1 month and 1 week in jail, by the grace of Jesus Christ I didn't even see a judge and all the charges were dropped. I was looking at 6+ years. First time ever doing time and I went through hell in there. Solitary is no joke man like you said many times it really does make you go crazy.
I never been locked up but I got a few family and friends in the pen. I love your channel. I been hooked on this since I found it. I’m talking about binge watching. Prison is a world that I was always curious about. Thanks for the insight. I’m genuinely glad to see a Excon make it. Some of my family can’t seem to switch up
I'm a CO for the Bureau of Prisons, the quickest way to get out of a block is to say my life is in imminent danger. We are supposed to move you right there and then.

I’ve had the WORST misophonia for as long as I can remember. In particular, any loud/obnoxious chewing or breathing (snoring or awake) makes me the angriest but honestly any time a person is unnecessarily loud doing anything it irritates me. Fuck prison though, if I ever anticipated I’d have to go for any length of time I’d def. have to disappear.

Most annoying things people do in jail/prison:
7. Busting your ass cleaning just for the lazy dorm mates to whine about how hungry they are in an attempt to get the only actual non good commissary food rewarded by the COs
6. Those who eat in bathroom stalls to avoid sharing and clog the toilet trying to flush the packaging as if discarding the evidence will hide what they were doing
5. Scream to each other all night about who their favorite rapper is then complain about oversleeping and missing the rare outdoor rec time in the morning
4. Ask for your food when you return from insulin shots as if they don’t give the packs to diabetics for a reason. And even worse, what is that mystery bologna in the first place
3. When someone who was a recipient of a portion of swoll provided by another generously shares with a third party and the giver of it asks “did i give u to much?”
2. When you first arrive and don’t have store yet and nobody is willing to loan on the strength even on a 2-1 interest agreement and joking about the hamburgular traits they claim you possess without even knowing you then a week later when your bag looks like Santa’s before he slides down the chimney want to be cool up partners FOH
1. Smelly dudes who shower once a month but don’t stop reminding everyone how fresh they are after washing themselves for the first time in thirty days

I have misophonia, and it revolves around eating sounds, but only people I'm really close to, like family members. There are certain people that trigger me, and everyone else doesn't bother me. My aunt drives me IN-FUCKING-SANE when she eats. I get this rage that builds inside me, and I have to leave the room, or else I might get violent. It's been that way since I was a little kid.

When I was in the LCA of 4-base from December to mid-January of 1999-2000 I listened for 14-straight hours “Rasheed…Rasheed…I’m going to put my big black (…) in your (…) Rasheed! Rasheed…Rasheed”. I had a hole in the floor of my cell and was behind double plexiglass and that’s all I heard echoing in my head. Things like this have me wearing ear plugs almost 24/7. You are dead on, Bro. Every morning my wife slurps her coffee. Its not normal the way she does either. It drives me crazy. I hate getting up early as it is. Its like being in jail when you think about it.
What should you do in jail/prison/life when you’re so disgusted by someone that you break and have to say something, but you’re so disgusted by them that you can’t see yourself fighting them because you’re so grossed out by them that you don’t even want them touching you or being anywhere around you.. but you already snapped and they want to go..??
My brother totally has that. My mom would suck her teeth and shuffle her cards and my brother could hear it all the way up stairs and would stop his foot on he floor and yell. So funny

Seriously, you should work in the prison system as a counselor or a mentor of some kind. You know the system and the game but you also have a way of speaking and communicating that is non-threatening and you're very likable. Those are great qualities and you can help others by sharing them with people in prison so they can come out and do good in life rather than fucking up and going back for longer stretches of time.

In waiting for him or another prison vid to say that you're going to hang out and be friends with people you would never associate with on the outside. Cuz so many of these videos are so true about the stuff they say that's the one thing I haven't heard him say yet. I used to play dominoes and hang out and talk with a few dudes that I would never speak with on the outside
