  • Ingredients:
    Pitted yellow plums: 1 kg
    Sugar: 400 g
    Lemon: 1
    Method:
    1) Wash and dry the best yellow plums
    2) Remove the stalk, cut them in half and remove the stone
    3) Weigh the cut plums, without stone but with skin
    4) Squeeze a lemon
    5) Put the prunes on the fire in a large saucepan
    6) Add the sugar, the squeezed lemon and a little water (if necessary)
    7) Cook over low heat for 50 minutes taking care to turn often
    8) Turn off the heat and put the still hot jam in a sterilized jar
    9) Turn the jar to make the vacuum
