I like the way Jason conducts these interviews. It's not all softballs but he doesn't try to bait anyone or stir the pot into the mudslinging nonsense. He just asks relevant questions and lets the person tell their story.

Hell yes!!!! Please try to get Jay Reynolds’s from Malice on the show. They were another killer 80s metal band that’s pretty obscure.

I love this band. I think they once opened up for Rush (or maybe it was Triumph.) Pure heavy metal. Always wondered why Michael is no longer with the band. You can't beat that original lineup.
Enjoyed this very much. I remember those Leatherwolf shows at the Country Club in Reseda so well. The hundred new faces from the O.C. in the Valley. Good times. Thank you for this Jason ... and Michael.
Hi Jason. Just wanted to say thanks for such a great interview with Michael. So glad you had him on the show. Im a huge Leatherwolf fan ever since first seeing The Calling video back in high school. Its really a shame they didn't get as much recognition as they deserve. So much talent and Michael's voice is amazing. Very underrated in my opinion. Just wanted to say I really enjoyed your interview with him. Keep up the good work!

Thought you might like to know that i was working for Island Records (UK) in the late 80s early 90s and promoted the Leatherwolf album....remember it going down well and selling really healthy amongst the hard rock community! !!

Leatherwolf's new album is good, it's pure traditional heavy metal, but it's Dean's thing, Leatherwolf for me isn't Dean, it's Geoff, Michael, and Carey, they're the melodic guys, that third album they had planned at that time, I think was going to be better than street ready.

A clever thing to do would be to copyright the name as Leather/Wolf, two words not one then the 3 of you could tour under the name if you wanted too and Dean can't do a thing about it. I can see though how this becomes confusing for promoters and fans alike and as you said Michael just come up with another name, it stops any confusions and it helps the band move on. At least when Dean's Leatherwolf is playing Leatherwolf tunes the 3 of you are still earning royalties as song writers.
Michael Olivieri is the man and the only voice of Leatherwolf. Dean should call it Pleatherwolf because it's not Leatherwolf, it's a cheap imitation. Don't get me wrong, Rob Math is an incredible guitar player and the other guys are great too but it's not Leatherwolf period. The M.O.B album is awesome. Great interview Jason.

Funnily enough, Carey himself informed me of HailMary’s existence… I’m really too young to be into this music the way I am (unintentionally referenced track 2 from ‘Disturbing the peace’ there) but anyhow.

In my experience with LW, M.O. was always the nicest of that band! Since Dean & I went to the same JR. H.S. we got along ok, but the rest of the guys were drunken, albeit talented, fools! LOL
