Brooke and Dave, the wife and I have been enjoying both of your channels for several years now and this episode really struck home. We are in the Northern lower and love to camp during the summer months, the rustic state forest campgrounds are not cutting it anymore, big fifth wheel rigs, generators and satellite dishes. You know what I'm talking about, so we thought about finding a piece of remote property we could establish a summer camp on. I have used Google maps and Google earth to find off road trails but with this acre view program you talked about I think i will be able to locate a piece of land to fit our needs. Thank you both so much for the hours of enjoyment and the inspiration. Mike & Lori
Quite a long time ago I looked at a remote farmstead site in N. Wisconsin. I thought it was everything I would ever want. I didn't pull the trigger, I waited until it rained. When I went back it was under two feet of water with Mallards swimming around. I was shocked and very disappointed, but relieved at the same time. This was a huge lesson learned. Thanks Brooke and Dave! 🌲🌷🌲
Thank you for sharing the upsides and downsides of living remote. If I was in a different stage of my life I definitely would try this. People are seeking a simpler way of life. The world has changed and become way to stressful for many people. As a senior citizen we need closer access to health care. However, we are simplifying the way we live and we have never been happier. Thank you for allowing this senior to live a bit more vicariously with you and your beautiful wife.
Congratulations on your new property. We're super lucky we live in a remote area of the Adirondacks with not only a creek, but a beautiful waterfall and were only 20 miles from a town. Be blessed. 😊🇺🇸

OMG I GOT SO EXCITED WHEN I SAW THE TITLE TO THIS VIDEO!!! And then for the first half...pure tension anxiety, stomach in a loop, fingers crossed that you got it. -Living vicariously through you & definitely wanting/needing more answers to this question. We’re going, tomorrow, to look at a couple rigs for travel. Once we have that in place, we’re O-U-T -out! And the search for land, for my and my children’s very first time, is ON. I’m scared, wanting to find & stuff as much info as possible into my head & crossing every finger that I do well. We’ve been dreaming this up, going through it to get to it... there’s no other direction for us to go in. The pull from the chest, from my entire being, being the soul parent to my amazing children... it is happening. Got a huge burst of glee and warmth in my heart, seeing this video. Would love to see an episode where the two of you walk the property and make some decisions about where you want to locate the home on the land, then maybe some time around the table where you run through design ideas.
You two have got to be the coolest off grid/remote couple on UA-cam. Showing both the upsides and downsides, the actual realities of the lifestyle is pretty uncommon in the cyber world. Thank you!
That’s a great piece of advice. Don’t wait and don’t hesitate when you find something you love. I got so lucky with my home in Vegas. It was on the market about a month before I found it. Two different people already tried buying it before me, but they’re financing fell through. The same day I saw the house, I put in an offer. It was my dream home. It’s a big and beautiful house, and I got a killer deal (this was back in 2010 with the housing market crash). Even with the closing costs and upgrades I’ve done, I’m looking at a six figure profit when I sell. I won’t say exactly how much, but it’s a lot. However, I’m tired of Vegas and have always wanted to live in the woods. I’m hoping to fulfill that dream in a year or two. This was a great video and had great information. Dave, congratulations on the new land and God bless you and yours! Stay safe and healthy my friend!
My wife and I recently purchased a large remote property on a river up in Alaska. Only accessible by four wheeler or snow machine. We will be the only people in the entire valley and we can’t wait. the solitude is unmatched when you’re in the wilderness where you belong. We are from Nevada but we’ve taken multiple trips up to Alaska to look at properties so we are pretty familiar with the area. Our place backs right up to state land for thousands and thousands of acres. I obsessed over google earth while looking at this property as a potential homestead site. Everything you two are saying is exactly correct. My one main piece of advice to anyone looking to buy remote is do your research. Follow your heart, but don’t let excitement cloud your judgement. Thank you for the content, it’s always wonderful to see you pop up on suggested.
Hello Tobias, I just returned yesterday from AK. My 4th time going up in winter to look at different locations and find a place to buy. I was so disappointed to return beck to where I live with nothing. I grew up in Anch and graduated high school there. Married a guy in the military and went all over but now I’m single and stuck in CA. My brother is a pilot and has a DOD job out of Anch . He lives in Wasilla and has a private plane also. We want to build a hanger/home or find one for sale. Thought I’d try and connect with you guys and see if you might know of any properties for sale or someone who does. We are both single so pooling our resources to make it happen. He has been flying for 35 yrs and I’ve been a carpenter for 20 yrs. It gives me joy hearing you made it happen in AK. I can be reached at 650-669-6306 if you know of property or someone who does in AK. I know contacting you is a long shot but ya just never know unless you try it. Thanks for sharing your comment. I am happy your “living the dream” best wishes and God bless, teresa
I built solar backup for our main home last year. If I can do it, anyone can. It will come in handy with our new property...it will be our only source of power. You guys are an inspiration.
One of the most interesting videos I've seen on YT yet. We have an off grid cabin at 8300 ft here in AZ. We built the first one in 1986, then bought two acres near that cabin and built our current "cabin- house" We catch rain water and have solar power, it's only one hour from our main home and is usually only accessible by snowmobile in winter, it gives us the best of both worlds. Love your videos.
My wife and I got 20 in Keeweenaw County and while that feels like a nice little chunk I still long for that big remote chunk of land. Thanks for the video, that was very thoughtful of you guys to post and a ton of great useable info. With any luck I’ll be up there sooner rather than later. Anyhow...Love your videos...both of yous!
Discovered your wife yesterday and you today. I'm hooked, I just don't know why I didn't know about you two sooner. I found my remote paradise last fall in Nevada with most of the necessities already placed. The only draw back is there is no contact with the outside world. I honestly don't mind it but my kids freak out when I'm up there alone. Long story short, your videos have given me valuable information for things I can improve on and hopefully at least get cel service this year. Thank you for all the awesome tips. God Bless you both and congrats on your new adventure.
I have been following your channel for a while and appreciate your no nonsense approach to content... I have been tracking Michigan's DNR parcel auctions in hopes of finding my own off-grid property; these tips & helpful hints are invaluable!
I'm one step away from being a city-slicker. I love how real you keep your expectations. I get my remote property desires filled vicariously through you. Maybe one day I will be able to cut the cord. Cheering you on from Utah.
Nor only will you cut the cord, but you will literally be cutting many cords of wood to stay warm. Living off grid is not so romantic in sub zero weather without a way to keep warm or ample an food source..
Excellent points raised, exact hurdles we've considered about having remote land. Unless one wins the lottery or has huge retirement savings, then gotta consider having enough online/independent income like you both pointed out. At least to pay the annual land taxes & any small monthly bills left over after converting to as off grid as possible/eliminating as many bills possible like water electric & gas heat etc, so that's what I'm trying to figure out. I'm not sure if there is anywhere to escape zoning/permit inspection restrictions that I'm tired of seeing humanity suffer through if they have remote land it should be to each his own if they cause no intentional harm to anyone or the land. I'd like to build whatever I want on land if I ever finally get some & allow other ppl who cant get the land themselves the chance to live, build, garden and create art free & wild on some of it that isnt used for growing etc. So I'm sure it would have it be remote to be where we could all mind our business in peace as free spirits exercising our birthrights w/o permits for every right that should come natural. Glad you guys went at the right time & are so right about thoroughly checking out in person what may be cat-fished realtor listings as they tend to go beyond embellishing at times and checking how the land is spring/winter. I never saw your tv show since I watch very little programming the past several years now, but when I do I try to make sure its something worth it, which your content surely is : ) Much success to you two Beautiful souls!
Gracias amigos. Thanks for sharing precious information. I've been watching your videos hoping to learn for future plans and adventures but in a totally opposite setting. I want to build my future off grid homestead in a rainforest in the Caribbean. You are welcome to share any advise you think may help. Also, I like to say I am very proud to see you do not hide your faith and always keep a very nice, positive attitude. I love seen you two working together as a couple, caring and supporting each other. You make a good example of what a marriage should be. And last but not least I want your wife to know I love her outfit and her Native American hair style, hat and booths. ♥ Hugs from Puerto Rico!
About 20 years ago I looked at a property in western Illinois that was configured for a campground around a spring fed lake. The county was evicting the campground because they had no sewer and water and... well.. counties do that. I've been kicking myself ever since for not buying it outright.
I swear I am looking in the north woods for land right now and You and Brooke are my inspiration and then this video popped up! Serendipity? You guys are my FAVORITE ✨
Another helpful hint! If you don't want to pay for acrevalue, MANY counties now have their tax assessor maps online to view for free. It is essentially the same thing that acrevalue does, but you don't have to pay for the owner's name and address. I'm currently using this to find some land for our future homestead! Great video, as always!
I'm blessed to be 10 miles from a town , I grew up in the ghetto and live out in the trees now . Took some adjustments but I wouldn't have it any other way now .
I feel like you two are related to me some way. Your whole attitude and disposition is so close to how my family are its crazy! Thank you so much for your hard work, and for learning how to edit, so that we can feel like you're family.
Congrats on finding your new property, looking forward to seeing how you develop it as you move forward. Thanks for taking us along on the journey. Take care.
Came across your video's of building your cabin. Very nice, enjoyed them. Very well done. Then saw this one. Thanks, very informative and straightforward with no B.S. Being several years retired, still have a dream of something similar. One of a few things on my bucket list. Love the outdoors with some solitude.
Have you guys considered starting a consulting business where you can guide people towards their version of off grid or remote living and if its right for them.
You guys are so awesome! I love listening to your advice and watching you fulfill your dreams. I have followed a much different path in life, but I love contemplating this remote way of life. I have a property where I can retreat, and you give me ideas for retirement and even tips for ways to use my place even now. I've told my relatives about your channel, and now they love it too!
Starlink is a total game changer. Faster internet than a lot of connections in the city with great latency. The main downside is the power brick consumes 120 watts continuously while it's on, so you'll want to factor that into your solar budget. Or maybe just use it for a fraction of the day.
This is the BEST, BEST, Best video with so much info. Thank you. LIVE THE DREAM! ❤ You two are awesome and inspiring to me. (67, female, strong, able, willing)
Love you two. I wish I was young again. I will live vicariously through you-all. I will enjoy watching what you guys develop your new place 👍congratulations on the new land.
OnX maps is a great option for scouting properties. I started using it years ago for public land hunting, now I am on it everyday looking at property lines and owners.
You two know so much about this you should offer your services. Like a land scout service. Congrats on the property. We vacation every year in the Traverse City area. Would love to put a cabin on some UP property some day.
I’m fascinated watching you 2 but I wouldn’t want to live remotely. I like people nearby… but I really admire your creativity and work ethic. It’s fun seeing how to tap for water and build a shower. I just sold a riverfront property in the mountains of Washington state - small cabin with electricity and a well on it. Sold it to my nephew for almost nothing. He has kids and they will enjoy for years to come. 😊🌸🌺☘️
Congratulations on the new property! On the problem with no internet. Trent and Alie in a remote Utah mountain area. Just installed STARLINK. They say it has made video uploads so much easier.. Also love the videos you do together! Look forward to the property adventure with y'all! Congratulations Brooke on the new subscription numbers! Love y'all.
Such good info! You have saved some folks heartache and money. Here in the desert southwest there is remote properties at fairly reasonable prices. Access to water is always the overriding issue here. People think they will just drill a well but they don’t think it through. At $25+ per cased foot it adds up and you may still have a dry hole at 600-800+ ft deep. I have heard so many people say that they had remote property and hoped to move there but they couldn’t find water.
So inspirational, I’ve recently moved 120km inland to a small country town. We are off grid (not remote) and the next thing to do is start my mushroom farm up and sell at local markets. Keep up the great content
I grew up on an Air Force base near Marquette Michigan. I was there in the ‘70s, early ‘80s and the snow made for a great place for a kid! Your sleds remind me of our Yamaha Exiter and Enticer.
Nice find! We live in N. Wisconsin and have been looking at land and possibly for a remote site down the road. In case you haven't heard of it, there is an app called On X Hunt--it has all the information you mention, plat, ownership, contours, etc and you can use it while out and about looking at the land, and of course you can download maps for offline use. Basically you can walk around the property, and check the app to see exactly where you are at any given time to check for boundaries, land features, etc. Its really great--I also love using it when I am foraging/hunting on public land. Thanks for the great content! We're practically neighbors and love getting up to the U.P., especially the Porcupine Mountains and the Keweenaw.
Dave & Brooke, I love the video content! I am so excited for you guys. It is also a plus for me!!! I get to watch and learn from two of my most favorite people. I do mean that. YOU ARE NOT JUST YOU TUBERS TO ME. I may not have YET met you in person, but I know you guys are not fake. You are the real deal. That I would bank on. Ly
"You cannot trust a Realtor" Unfortunately, after working with them for almost 20 years, that's more true than not. There was a piece of land near this place I bought. The photos showed a 20x24 garage on the property and utilities. I drove all the way out there only to find nothing on the lot! The previous owners had taken the garage down and everything else! 😟
The problem is the ones who are the “top agents” being also the best negotiators/ pretty knowledgeable, only think dollar signs. I know since I had my licence, but had not one client. You cant be nice to survive as a realtor like I was. The ones who do well are sharks. That “nobody agent” might be the one to trust, not the hi roller. Realtors are a resource, but even I dont trust them either. Better to know the realtor personally. I thought my license would help me locate property, it hasn’t.
@@smileyhappyradio So true, really serious snakes - at the 2008 crash, my own manager tried to steal my commission - truly brutal sh*t show - I heard years later he went bankrupt hehe, what's that famous saying? Thank You so much!!! I've been researching on getting some remote property. I had to get away from florida cause there are too many people and not enought land. I am grateful to you for giving me and myrna some very good information. God Bless You guys.
Same boat. I want to escape but it’s a little scary to do alone. It’s not that I’m not good being alone, but it would be awesome to have someone for the adventure.
i am doing it( 10 acres in Nevada) but its really rough and every turn i get beat down but i don't know how to quite and i don't know how to give up, but it is a really good feeling, true freedom .keep up the good work
Another valuable resource is the county tax assessor's website. They have a GIS mapping service where you can find the exact location of the property. Many will list the owner's name, tax status, tax amounts, lot dimensions, if it's in foreclosure (bank owned) etc. along with neighboring properties. The best part is that this info is FREE. You also want to know if someone else has logging rights and mineral rights to the land you're considering. You might own the dirt but not the wood or gold. Am I correct in that Acre Value charges $29 a month to get the detailed information? I'm not in the business of buying tons of properties; that's for those in the real estate business and speculators.
You're never remote as long as Google, the All Seeing Eye, is still functioning... Love your video. It was very helpful for me on my own journey to remote, off-grid living. You're such a blessing!
UA-cam channel "Red Poppy Ranch" started a channel about building a home remotely. They go through the hassles of year round off grid/remote living in the mountains of southeastern Idaho. Very informative. They just got the starling service and it is faster than what they got in the town near where they live.
Thank you my wife and I was going to move to Fairbanks this year but she has passed away and now I will be moving up there next year. I still have our property and this video help me a ton so thank you
After college I managed buried telephone cable construction along Superior around Munising, Gran Marais, Chatham, and KI Sawyer AFB. I used to spend weekends driving my 4x4 around all the logging trails. So beautiful up there! If my wife didn't have a thriving chiropractic office, I'd be up there in two shakes. God bless you two.
Hi guys! I'm new to your channel and I luv luv luv it! I've been really impressed with your videos so far, I especially like how you narrate them...whenever you’re building something you give such great advice and also letting folks know it's okay if this is the first time you are building something etc because it makes newbies such as myself feel confident that yes, I can try and if I fail that's okay just keep trying...love that! Keep up the awesome work and have a great holiday season! 😊✌️🏻❤️
Gratitude & grand risings Brooke & Dave. I have just discovered your channel yesterday and i cannot get enough of it!! It resonates with me deeply and im sure many on here feel the same. This is something i have held dear for a long time now and as a young man of 35, to have a place of my own and in harmony with nature. I am based in Glasgow, Scotland. The story Dave shared about the man he seen at the dump in Alaska, incredible and i love and share that mindset. Is the Acre Value website specific to the US or North America? I would be incredibly grateful if you guys or anyone in the comments could enlighten me to a website or app applicable here in Scotland or the UK. The best youtube channel, bar none for real skills, first hand experience & knowledge. Thank you from my heart & soul.
Have a "quarter" (160 acres) remote off-grid property on the southern edge of the boreal forest in Northern Ontario with a creek and beaver ponds throughout the property. Looks similar to your new property.
I’m East of you folks I believe, at the base of the Hurons. Wonderful country, have fun exploring those amazing lands. McCormick, Ford, and Leopold all understood the draw of this area too.
A couple things I've learned in my search is to make sure it has deeded access or the way to access it that won't become invalid due to things outside of your control like zoning, or a neighbor has just been allowing access through their property and now a new owner won't allow it. Another thing I stumbled across was some sites were using an interactive map that had all the known wells on it with depth and gph when drilled. My biggest fear has been finding land I love and finally pulling the trigger then spending $30 plus a foot to not hit water. I found a property I liked that stated it had a well on it, but it wasn't showing up on the interactive map so I asked the realtor to find more info on it and they find out it was an old broken down well from god knows when.
Dave, great video! Can you run a series on this property? ie: road in and out maintaining, how to keep people out of your new property etc dirtbikes atvs etc also could you touch on employment/ aka how to make a living ideas etc
Wow this is amazing and these people are super educated and knowledgeable, I've never looked into property but it's really interesting to me. Thank you both very much. I love watching your channel.
We purify our rainwater and water from a steam with a "Nomad " from clear source. We have been happy with it so far. Been a great company to work with we have emailed them with questions and they have responded right away and actually discounted our order for new filters. Rewilding is hard mental work! Sometimes I have to remind myself why am I doing this again. 😁 We are off grid but not that remote in NC Appalachian Mountains area. Maybe remote in the future. Baby steps.... Love the UP born and raised in Southwest Michigan (St Joseph).✌💓
My wife has relation up near Iron mountain in the u.p. of Michigan. We're going to contact them and see if they know anyone with property for sale. Thank you so much...this video has been EXTREMELY HELPFUL!
Even Dick Proeneke of One Man's Wilderness" was not truly "alone". He got regular supplies flown in and hand made the rest. He hunted and fished and scavenged for food. He just lived as close to nature as possible. But he was never truly alone. That kind of life would be regulated out of existence today.
Well said. Watch his videos and see how much store bought seasonings and condiments he had. I’ve never even seen any footage of him growing produce. He didn’t. Yes, his life was about as simple as can be, but he still relied on society to survive.
Your right about that. We found land up in northern maine and drove the 8 hrs to look at it and walk the land before I made a commitment. The Google map pic was old so we wanted to check just to make sure it wasn't clear cut because that happens alot up there. The realtor also didn't represent the property very well he didn't even know where the boundary pins were located. Didn't even have the frontage right. Glad we went and looked. It's a really nice piece of land with lots of wildlife around. Especially moose.
Love the channel but nobody is a expert when it comes to off grid living or living remote you either got it or you don't I agree that some people jump in thinking you can do it but living a dream comes with challenging things! I live where I could walk outside buck naked. Of course it’s in a city and my neighbors probably wouldn’t like it much. They’d be poking their eyes out. You can’t unsee all this nakedness. 😂
i cant think of a better word than majestic!!!! i have two of them i have a person that goes out and checks the property for campers ...in my case no lodging so loggers set up all kinds of structures. so we do it by air and walk!!

BECAREFUL IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU WHERE DOES THAT LEAVE HER? SERIOUSLY AND VICE VERSA TOO, PREP UP PREPPERS FOR BEARS + THE UNEXPECTED ONGOING!
You two are awesome, congrats on your new property! Really glad we found your channel, we love the vids and are inspired by you, thank you!
Thank you!!
@@Bushradical Yes congratulations you guys have to be stoked God-bless bye for now bro Ken
Yeah he found himself a nice gilf
One of the best videos on homesteading! Some of the best advice I've ever heard. Thank you so much for this video.
A city slicker from Utah... okay... I live in Vegas and don’t call myself that.
I never saw your tv show since I watch very little programming the past several years now, but when I do I try to make sure its something worth it, which your content surely is : )
Much success to you two Beautiful souls!
Looking forward to following your journey. Two of my favorite people to watch and root for. May this new endeavor be everything you hope.
I appreciate that
Gracias amigos.
You two are so realistic and there's alot of pro's and con's to buying remote property, wow there is so much to this.
I swear I am looking in the north woods for land right now and You and Brooke are my inspiration and then this video popped up! Serendipity? You guys are my FAVORITE ✨

@@justahasbeen Same boat, we'll see what happens with everything, but there's no way all of these city people will be happy out in the woods longterm.
I live with a Jackery 500 with 1 100 watt panel as my electric. I can charge my battery bank at friends, or at a job I do once a week.
right on
Thanks
Another helpful hint! If you don't want to pay for acrevalue, MANY counties now have their tax assessor maps online to view for free. It is essentially the same thing that acrevalue does, but you don't have to pay for the owner's name and address. I'm currently using this to find some land for our future homestead! Great video, as always!
I've been using onxmaps, they give new accounts a 1 week trial and you can just make more email addresses. No payment info needed either.
I'm blessed to be 10 miles from a town , I grew up in the ghetto and live out in the trees now . Took some adjustments but I wouldn't have it any other way now .
Congratulations that's awesome
What a brilliant idea
We've thought about it but probably its a no-go
@@Bushradical Don't do it......LOL

You guys are so awesome! I love listening to your advice and watching you fulfill your dreams. I have followed a much different path in life, but I love contemplating this remote way of life. I have a property where I can retreat, and you give me ideas for retirement and even tips for ways to use my place even now. I've told my relatives about your channel, and now they love it too!
Congrats 🍾 can’t wait to see what you do with this property!
Thanks
Man you were brutal at the end of the off grid video; but extremely accurate and honest. Keep up the good work.
Congratulations on getting your new property! Can't wait to see what you can do with it.
Thank you
My two favorite people on UA-cam. Thanks for everything you share with us! God bless
I can remember walking land in the Catskill Mountains with my dad in 1967. He ended up with 100 acres.

Ah man, my wife and I discovered the Upper Peninsula this year and I have a strong urge to find a place to live up there. Just such a beautiful area.
Thanks
OnX maps is a great option for scouting properties. I started using it years ago for public land hunting, now I am on it everyday looking at property lines and owners.
But you do need a decent cellular signal
You two know so much about this you should offer your services. Like a land scout service. Congrats on the property. We vacation every year in the Traverse City area. Would love to put a cabin on some UP property some day.
"Whipple's Wilderness Wonderland"
Thanks
Go for it!
@@Bushradical if u need a great toilet for off grid life, check out home bio gas website.

I love your wife and the wolf! So glad this came across my timeline. This video was a godsend and right on time. Thank you for sharing.
I live in uk and for us what you do is just a dream. But love watching your adventures. My favourite channel. Look forward to every episode.
OMG!!!! I AM SOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU TWO!!!! Looks like a great spot guys!!! Can't wait to see what you put up there!!!!!
LOL ! Sounds about right
The problem is the ones who are the “top agents” being also the best negotiators/ pretty knowledgeable, only think dollar signs.
Dave and Brooke, love yr Stories of travel.
Good to do with someone, I have no one, the more I watch all y'all I dream it. It sucks being stuck!!!!
I love this! I'm so happy for you guys! Thanks for your insight and can't wait to see your journey on the new homestead! Greetings from Tawas Bay, Mi
I am looking forward to watching you two as you keep living the dream!!!! You are both awesome!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
UA-cam channel "Red Poppy Ranch" started a channel about building a home remotely. They go through the hassles of year round off grid/remote living in the mountains of southeastern Idaho. Very informative. They just got the starling service and it is faster than what they got in the town near where they live.
Yes love them!!
Thank you my wife and I was going to move to Fairbanks this year but she has passed away and now I will be moving up there next year. I still have our property and this video help me a ton so thank you
Just saw you in Season 4 of Alone (History Channel), great to see you again in all your UA-cam videos. Sending out big hugs!
Congrats guys super happy for you both and can’t wait for the amazing adventures on the property
This is the best video on off grid property I've watched so far. Vital information! Thanks y'all!
We did the same thing! We snow machined into one property and snow shoe to another. Definitely an adventure!
I am absolutely committed to finding a remote property this year and start with baby steps building a tiny cabin and starting a little garden.
Y’all’s insight & honesty is really appreciated!
I need to get away from people & back to the honesty & simplicity of nature!😎
Dave, great video! Can you run a series on this property? ie: road in and out maintaining, how to keep people out of your new property etc dirtbikes atvs etc also could you touch on employment/ aka how to make a living ideas etc
I love everything about the two of you and your shows! It’s exciting just to watch and live vicariously through your adventures!
Selling off other properties? So inspired and love your videos. To old to do this but wish I had it years ago.
Me too.
not sure yet
Wow this is amazing and these people are super educated and knowledgeable, I've never looked into property but it's really interesting to me. Thank you both very much. I love watching your channel.
Always solid down to earth advice from you guys! Thank you again and I'm very happy that both your channels are doing so well. You totally deserve it.
Very happy for your family . Bought mine in 2002' , started from scratch, we`re still here. Deeded access is important.
Great video guys, love it when your both together doing a video, funny too,
We purify our rainwater and water from a steam with a "Nomad " from clear source.
Happy for both of you, enjoy may this work the way you've intended.
Fingers crossed!
He didn’t. Yes, his life was about as simple as can be, but he still relied on society to survive.
no, i live like that in newyork state. buy enough property and you have your own world.i want for nothing and no one.
Best video I've seen on UA-cam for finding and buying remote off-grid land.
Really wonderful advice. Thanks so much. May God continue to bless you!
Same to you!
So glad I found this video . My girlfriend and I are also in Michigan looking for remote property. Love your guys energy, thanks for sharing!!!
Great video. I’m currently looking for some remote land in British Columbia. Appreciate y’all!
Good luck!
Yay congratulations!!! Can't wait to see what you do with it!
Thanks
Love the channel but nobody is a expert when it comes to off grid living or living remote you either got it or you don't I agree that some people jump in thinking you can do it but living a dream comes with challenging things! I been living in a 32 foot camper with a family of five and it's been challenging but we can do it we been saving to buy a remote property in the UP Michigan thanks for the advice on remote living or off grid living great video and good attitude Dave keep up the good videos 👍
I live where I could walk outside buck naked. Of course it’s in a city and my neighbors probably wouldn’t like it much. They’d be poking their eyes out. You can’t unsee all this nakedness. 😂
LOLOLO
Funny
Haha 😂😂😂
i cant think of a better word than majestic!!!!
i have two of them i have a person that goes out and checks the property for campers ...in my case no lodging so loggers set up all kinds of structures. so we do it by air and walk!!
