The amount of hidden stuff in this game is crazy. Once you beat the story mode, theres like a whole new story, it doesn't use cutscenes but there is a whole new lore. Aliens, hell, devils so much cool stuff after the story of this game.
To this day, still love that every unlockable character in the game had a unique default tag, including the random unlockables like the Pro Skater aliens and the Lost Souls from the Hell section.

actually most of the 90's it was not and it wouldn't be until around 1999 that things picked back up for skating cause skaters where highly hated and skating was at an all time low for most of the 90's.

I always found it very satisfying how the team ditches Eric Sparrow in Australia. Sweet revenge after he and the team ditching you in Moscow in the first game.
It's actually not that bad, animation could be a lot worse too. Especially considering that most of the main voice talent in this game are not voice actors even a little. I actually feel like the quality of animation and voicework dropped a bit in THAW.

Well the problem with that is Bam margera's would probably be cut from the remake of Tony hawk underground series the only solution they would have to do is make a new character to replace Bam margera .

Fingers crossed. Crash Bandicoot Trilogy from PS1 did so well that Spyro followed. Then the VERY recent Crash Bandicoot Warped sequel. It's not impossible that if THPS1+2 sell well enough over the next few months that a similar pattern will follow. And the kicker? All of the above franchises are in Activision's possession, so it's not just an industry trend, it's Activision specifically that's bringing franchises into remake versions one IP after another.

eh. i have mixed feelings about this game's story. one one hand, the humor does have it's moments, but in the other hand, it feels like a huge mood whiplash compared to the first game's story.
It’s a whole different game. Without press. Just friends doing fun dumb shit. It was awesome. After making it in the first game this is a great follow up imo
