A very helpful thing I realized when starting to learn longboard tricks is the importance of learning to ride switch. I felt switch riding was almost impossible and felt like a complete beginner again. Then I noticed that why this was so hard was because I didnt trust the balance standing on my right leg. I always wanted to put my weight on the left leg. So then I practiced to just roll on the board standing only on my right leg balancing, without kicking. Quite quickly I got more comfortable, and riding switch suddenly did't feel as intimidating.
ur a natural teacher...great work..ok maybe u can help..im a new rider..just got a pintail board and im finding these tricks super hard...my board feels high of the ground and heavy..what STYLE of LB should i consider ? cheers!!
You really need a board with a wider nose and tail. A pintail is not designed for these kinds of tricks. Check out the Moonshine Eclipse, Loaded Bhangra, Loaded Basalt Tesseract, and Landyachtz Stratus just to name a few.
@@brownpunk1794 I wouldn't really recommend a drop-through board. Those typically have really small nose and tail. Honestly your board isn't too heavy. The feeling of weight comes from a small tail/nose. Like Stoked said, get a larger board like the Loaded Tesseract of Landyachtz Stratus
Thank you for this great video, the tips you gave for the tricks were especially helpful. And it could be great if u could add English captions for better understanding. Thanks :)
For the ghostride, what do you mean by leap off? Jump off right? I'm facing the prob you mentioned in the video, board either stops riding or I give it a push forward. Thx for the video btw dude! Been trying the ghost ride for 2 days, can do everything except this step.
Thanks for the vid, it's not easy to find videos with a good description and tips instead of just showing of how flowy you lot can pull of them tricks ;) thanks
Yes, except from the ghost ride and body varial. I had aboard without kicktail before, so i didnt learn any tricks, only pumping and carving. Now I have a Loaded Tan Tien and everything is so much more fun.
Had a blast making this video. HMU if you guys have any questions 💯🛹
Ok Zac Efron, thanks for the tips!

Yes, jump off. You have to do it in a way so the board keeps going at a constant speed. Keep at it, you'll get it!
@@StokedRideShop alright thanks. Will keep at it, appreciate it!

Thanks Stephan!
I have a drop through deck which has no kicktail. Is this going to be a problem?
Some of these tricks will be more difficult without a kicktail/nose, but some you can do no problem!
