Same here. I operate a lumber mill. I pull select trees out of the forest. No clear cutting. It's kinda like gold mining really. Lots of work and you never know what you have until you saw that log open. I could always use a hand!

A claim owner could easily toss in a few bits of gold into the bucket when helping someone prospect their land. Of course that wouldn't work here as Tony would do more drilling before going any further (as any smart man should do) but plenty of young, inexperienced miners would see that pan and jump in head first.
That's called salting, dusting, or baiting, it was done a long time ago in the west to sale land for a potential gold strike.
