Nice work Brian.
Informative and efficient.
Time well spent here

Great video, I actually just talked to someone about this method today! Thanks!!
Hyun Lee Sure thing. Thanks as always for watching!
Brilliant deadpan delivery
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this great video! Very helpful!
Nicole Lewis Thanks for being here.
These are cool products. I make walleye / saugeye spinning rigs. I’ve taken to buying pool noodles and cutting them into manageable length to store the rigs. Works pretty well.
Aaron Smigielski That works!! Hell yeah!
Nice....still here keep em coming
Tony Power ok....we will.
I use these boxes for sabiki rigs, helps a ton to prevent everything balling up.
Cool. Thanks for sharing.
Love that background colour, what would you describe that as Butterscotch 😂 keep up the buttery smooth reviews guys 🤟👍
Thanks for watching.
Great video tight lines from n ireland
Thanks for watching.
Pretty cool, Brian. I'm tying up a few leaders for fishing tomorrow - in Alaska lakes. Two fly rigs are the bomb. Thanks.
Jolynne Howard Thanks for watching!
I just use my old tippett holder, putting a rubber band were the tippett went. Gives your flies something to bite on to and saves you money!
Not a bad idea, and thanks for sharing, but there are some size flies that we use that wouldn't fit inside the tippet spool there. For $6.95 we'll stick with the Loon Rigging Foams.
i took a pool noddle and made a bunch of leader savers cut to size you want
Wildman lol, my uncle does the same.
Thanks for watching.
Great video! What kind of knots are you using to tie the two flies together, a non-slip knot? Then a non-slip to the leader? Or all clinch knots for flies and to the leader?
Usually just clinch knots although there is sometimes variation. He'll be doing some tutorials on rigging so stay tuned for more detailed information. Thanks for watching.
This is also a game changer for you guys that euro nymph 👍
Very true. Thanks for watching.
It's me I ordered a 98 of them!!!
Thanks for the support!
Brian, great video. One question. How do you rig small flies? In NJ the biggest I fish is #14 with 5x and 6x, often down to a #20 midge. I don’t think I could get 2 tippets through the eye with the eye-to-eye rig you’re describing.
You should be able to no problem with 5X or 6X. If not, you can tie to the bend of the hook.
Great video, very well explained, I have a 9.6 ft #3 rod, what kind of line would you use for this fishing technique, a more subtle SA VPT or a more aggressive SA MPX, Thanks good channel
Thanks for watching. Please send your questions directly to the shop and they will be happy to help. You can email them or better yet, give them a call.
I been using these myself as a new fly fisherman. It’s great cause I can lose two flies at once when I get stuck lol.
The more the merrier? Thanks for watching.
I’ve got a question for y’all. How do you set a fly rod up for pike and Muskie? And what are good flies for them
Christian V As is un-related to this video, please e-mail or call the shop directly and they will answer there. admin@madriveroutfitters.com or 614-451-0363. Or submit for the Q & A series. Thanks!
Clarity of the water changes your tippet diameter? So you lean more toward the lighter side if its clearer just so the fish don't see the line easier?
Sounds about right. Feel free to e-mail or call the shop and chat if the guys can help further. They are always happy to help.
Hi. Please tell me how you attach the rig flies to the leader.
Gabor Gabriel Clinch Knot or Non-Slip Loop Knot. We have videos here in the tutorials section.
I bought the colored dropper discs that come in a cylindrical plastic storage tube. There is no way to attach flies or even swivel hooks or twist ties to the line. Too bulky. I managed to get a good selection of leaders wrapped up but will save only a little time from the use of a leader straight out of the package. I know these dropper rigs can save guides a lot of time but I am still not seeing the advantages of hooking up proper leader/tippets with correct flies and double flies already tied. What am I missing?
Please call or e-mail the shop and they will be happy to help. Thanks.
@@Madriveroutfitters Thanks, I know I need to email this question. You guys are GREAT!
Pheasant tail... Anything else is just a maybe
That's in the bible....pretty sure.
the music is annoying. but as always great video!!
Brian wrote and performed the music himself. We'll pass along though. Thanks.
@@Madriveroutfitters I like the music, and think he sounds like an excellent slide/fingerpicking guitar player. Tell Brian he should put his music up on Spotify so we can hear more of it.
Charlie probable missed being the first by a few hundred years.
Don't know what this means but thanks for being here.
