Cancer survivor here too. Metastatic Thyroid cancer. Got my 3 year ultrasound next week. I also went sudden cardiac arrest while I was partially spinally decapitated. See my surgeries video. 6 major surgeries the past 4 years. Got a pacemaker now and also my neck fused c3-c7 front and back. A year after I got the front done which was right after Thyroidectomy I got my front plate taken out due to it loosening and I got more cadaver bone added. Then 6 months later my appendix burst. The 6 months after that I fell due to my bad heart and snapped my fusion and had to get the backside fused. Had to have my chin sewed shut also. And right before my pacemaker 4 years when I went sudden cardiac arrest I fell backward and broke the back of my head open and got that stapled shut. ........ ua-cam.com/video/dAp1b5JR3C4/v-deo.html

if those are "off" notes, you haven't seen too many live shows. holy cow. it's a brilliant performance for most singers in their primes. Dio's voice just had a remarkable quality - not too high-and-fluffy and not- too growly - it was the proverbial "just right", even in its twiight. I feel privileged to have seen him in Vancouver on the first Heaven and Hell tour.

Black Sabbath on stage... teaching how rock and metal should be performed... much better than a lot of shitty bands that appear on Wacken (Steel panther and the 1000 copies of Iron maiden) Dio and Ozzy are the best ones, Black Sabbath is the aquelarre that changed everything, maybe some people in the crowd didn´t notice that "small" detail... Rest in peace Dio and Sabbath!

Tony might not shred quite as fast as the guitarists for Dio, but theres just something about the way he plays... the man invented heavy metal, and he knows how it should sound.
