Glad I got to take my 14 yr old who is a pretty wicked guitar player and already has a few Metalica songs (Sandman & Seek..) under his belt and he even got to do Sandman at his music school's recital. Having the Gods end the Sunday show with Sandman... EPIC!
@@lindavalley3728 theres several drum kits set up accross the stage and the band rotates around the stage, you get a pretty good view no matter where you are because of that at at least some point.
I just wish I had some video of my 8 year old daughter, every time the pyro hit last night she was just screaming "Fiiiiiire!!!" Was definitely a great show, I felt the overall energy was up over the Friday show
It fades lol. Saw them both nights in Detroit in November last year. I was in withdrawal after, especially since I got to see pantera for the first time. Fixed it quickly with Meshuggah in December and then Pantera and Lamb of God in February.
@NooDLES411911 I need to find something to go to soon bc I'm getting antsy. Lol. Nothing good is coming to my city anytime soon. All My favorite artists are only doing tours in US and Europe
Damn this sounded great that close up. I was front bottom bowl seats (basically field level but seated), but still there's some stadium echo, which is cool in it's own right. Up front here sounds like silk. Thanks for the upload! Great setlist this weekend, only change I'd make is for one of the new tracks to step aside in order for fade to black to have made it.
At the 4:45 mark when the red and white lights shifted I got an awesome photo. Going right on the wall. James and Robs shirts go bright white and they are red silhouettes. Snake pit was awesome.
Great show but i liked the last tour better. I was sitting concourse level sec P and found the high end weak. Lots of drums and low end but the lyrics often hard to hear. Last tour with a more traditional setup the sound was more balanced. Hopefully a concert Bluray will allow me to hear it better someday.
got any vids of the unforgiven? lars stared and pointed at me the whole song and threw me his stick, tryna fund videos since i was stuck in the moment haha
@@JoeL-de7tx 60 years old, end of the second night, high intensity 2.5 hour sets without any intermission, wind blowing the pyro flames right over him…sounds pretty damn good to me! 😎👍 Pretty sure the people that make these kinds of comments have no real world experience and are just trying to sound smart. 🙄
Someone was inevitably going to make this comment. Not sure how you can call this washed up. Technical songs played live are ... hard to deliver with perfection.
puffin' on a stogie until the last second, Love it!!
He’s probably stressed out cause larse is rushing everything he’s stressed out .
Back in the 80's people scoffed at the idea they could pull this off in their 60's.. eat your words.. still going strong!!
I was actually afraid they (but never said they won't) be able to play their fast songs past 50!

Best 2 concerts EVER!
How did the circle stage work? I'm going Fri and Sun.

Nice steady hand dude, especially with those zoom shots
Thanks.
1:16 is probably one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. Jame's immediate reaction lol
That was a death stare, lol. Hammett probably got a lecture after that set. 😯
I know that sound all too well, thats why I’m rarely ever paid to play guitar lmao
Metallica still rocks.💯🤘🤘
Im having the post concert blues big time this was so good

It was amazing. 🤗
Don’t think I yelled louder in my life until they played this right here
I was in the snake pit during this and it was the best experience of my life
Jesus how much was snake pit
@brandonbergfelt536 I went with my dad for both days in the pit and I think it was 1800 a day
I had an amazing time love it forever
Omg that went hard AF
Awesome camera work
@@darrellstaples7011 thank you.
And I was there last night the happiest night of my life
Great video.
Gotta luv James

I was right beside you almost. Probably 4 or 5 people away

@@ashtonwhitney8898 I don’t… I only recorded a couple of songs.

Im Intro: Das ist doch kein echter Gegner, was ist das denn?
Aus einem deutschen Kriegsfilm.
Lars kinda Larsed here. Still sounded great in person.
Love Metallica but the drums are way off beat it's giving me a headache man.
Thank you for noticing too. I’m like, “Lars. You’ve been playing for how long??”

The rig pigs approve this show.
Defenity wasnt one of there better shows ive seen
I concur. Love the fuck out of them, but the setlist was vanilla, other than Fight Fire With Fire.
Saw them play Whiskey in The Jar and Dirty Window in Montreal last summer, was hoping for something like that.
I see you only strive for perfection in everything you do 😂
Is that the best chair Edmonton could find for him? What a dump. Wait a minute, Im in Edmonton. Never mind.
Garbage there old washed up we left after 3rd song waste of money
They’re* far from washed up. These shows were amazing and James crushed that faster part vocally. Your loss for leaving.
You have absolutely no soul
Save your money for Taylor Swift
That might be a little more your speed😂🫵🏾
I only left early because there was 65 thousand people there lol be sure to put some tears in your beers
