Hey all, my bad for the long wait on this one, I started working on two videos at the same time which turned out to be a really stupid idea haha. This video actually featured on the channel years ago but was taken down within days, so barely anyone saw it. So, I've re-done bits and re-voiced most of it. The next video should be out next week.
Stay safe all and have a great weekend.

Went on a truck trip in the Summer of 2004. Seeing parts of the West for the 1st time, was Awestruck, as I had never left the South. We came to a small truck stop outside of Weed, CA; parked facing one side of Mount Shasta. I Didn't Want To Leave! Was told from a worker at this stop that one person a year either goes missing or dies on this mountain. Is this true?! Would Love To Go Back One Day! 🤯😔🙂🥰

Paradoxical undressing is one thing.. but the fact that there's so many instances of people's clothes turning up in places ALREADY thoroughly searched.. often very close to the area they were last seen, is just... Freaking weird. That and people just disappearing off the trail/mountain without leaving any tracks in the snow/mud.. as if they were snatched straight out of the air is equally baffling. And there are so many instances of both.. Wtf is going on out there??

Physical have proven that things are not static/stationary (read: "real") unless there is more than one human observing it. I know the forest can move as it pleases but beyond that I can only speculate about the magnetic anomalies maybe created by it being a volcano and the frequency/electric anomalies that can happen and how it could theoretically create a portal of sorts. The thing about antidepressants is that they're used for loads of different disorders. Anxiety is a common one. So you can't make guesses about him based on antidepressant use. I wonder if the gullibility issue has to do with difficulty making decisions on his own, which would make it hard for him to figure out what to do in a strange situation like being lost in the woods.

There are also various classes of antidepressant (SSRIs like fluoxetine/Prozac for example being far more common today than the more traditional tricyclics) as well as atypical antidepressants, which are sometimes prescribed to treat other conditions. Meds might only be an indicator of something, not confirmation of it, and even for some well-known drugs, we're still not 100% sure what happens in the brain to cause certain effects in certain ways.

    • @genghis_connie

Exactly. SSRIs, SNRIs, NSAIDs, dopaminergics, antipsychotics, etc, are prescribed for depression.
Hell, people are prescribed Depakote, Risperdal, Seroquel, etc as.mood stabilizers. Those will do a number on anyone.
_Most people who are depressed and medicated do not have Major Depressive Disorder.
Episodic depression is the vast majority of diagnosed depression, and treated with antidepressants. There's a very important differentiation that should have been made here._
Many of us can think of a number of mood and/or behavioral disorders which could make gullibility and confusion common symptoms.
Also betting dad didn't fully know or appreciate the his son's diagnosis: and that more meds were involved which dad didn't understand.
It seems these reports (especially the Missing 411 cased) are packed with vagueness and too much room for guessing when the smallest bit of info could be huge.

Some of them were only seconds! You have to listen to Dave Polidas? He's explained how a person is in front of another , turns a bend, the other is right behind them! Like two seconds later they turn that bend and their friend is gone!

@@nicholaswilliams4336 Thank you for explaining. I dont know anything about thunderbirds? I've never lived in the Southern west US. However, I do know alot about owls and some of them have wing spans over 7 feet and could easily swoop down catching a small child. However, they are nocturnal hunters and their talons are quite sharp.
I will look up Thunderbird? Have any children or small adults disappeared where a Thunderbird could have taken the missing? Do they hunt during daytime hours?

They are mainly nocturnal although attacks on people usually begin mid afternoon onwards, they can be all sorts of sizes not all of them are giants, but the giant ones are very impressive ( wingspans up to 60 feet ) Have a look at the Crosby Grace Travel Guide for 1st timers to Yosemite National Park.. right at the beginning... a huge black Thunderbird with a 20 ft span

Interesting! I moved to Red Bluff at the end of the Summer of 1983 and lived there until the end of the Summer of 1991. I heard strange stories about Mt. Shasta. The there was an ancient Tribe of Indiginous People living inside the Volcano and never to bother them? Meaning it wasn't wise to climb to the summit.
I traveled everywhere around Mt. Lassen, and there are some places that are downright creepy! For years Calif. Road crews worked on HWY 36 causing delays where the traffic would be stopped for up to two hours before they'd let ten cars pass! Not like today, where, yes things are slow and it's stop and go, but this was rediculous? Before the small town of Minden was a place called Dale's Station, prior to this was a gap in the base of the Mountain. At night deep in this gap there were lights emanating from the bottom. A blueish white glow. My husband and I were pretty curious so we pulled over to check it out? We heard rumors that the Government had a secret facility in the Mountain? Like a bio weapons plant, or some wonky research was going on? So we hiked down in the pitch darkness through scrub brush, poison oak and manzanita to see for ourselves? And there was a chain linked fence! And blue running lights on both sides of a " narrow landing strip"! And then a bright flood light switched on the canyon wall! And we ducked holding our breath! I thought I was going to pee my pants!
Not a freaking noise, not an owl, or cricket! The silence made it all worse?
He asked," you think they're hiding aliens from area 51 in there"?
I started goggling...then laughing... and you know when you're supposed to be quiet and someone laughs even when it isn't funny? You just can't help but laugh? I got up and ran back up the hill all the way to the car!
Like what if someone was there? We didn't tresspass?
It was probably some eccentric persons driveway?
    And a motion sensor light.
But what a trip! The gossip that spread about these lights?
And I was thinking maybe we would find out if Tom Selleck really built a house outside of Red Bluff? 😆 LOL

There are sooo many mysterious and totally baffling stories of children and adults alike going missing under bizarre circumstances. Many of the cases occurring in clusters, often located in or near the National Park system. I think the phenomenon would have gone unnoticed without the amazing work of David Paulides, author of “Missing 411”. He never speculates on what he believes to be the cause of these strange cases, he just lays out the facts and allows the reader to come to their own conclusions.

I was born and raised in Redding. In the case of Austin it stated he lived in Montgomery Creek which is around 40 to 50 miles east of Redding where it's stated he was Going to the Redding skate park. He definitely wouldn't have been walking or driving if the weather was so bad they had to cancel a vacation because of it. His tracks were found ending at the river and if the terrain was so rugged that law enforcement couldn't gain access then to me it sounds like he was upset, took off or ran away and possibly either fell or willingly ended up in the river which would sweep him away and hypothermia took over. The whole turn of events sound a little fishy.

I've always wanted to explore that area. A friend gave me a book about Mt. Shasta and in it there was a chapter about a hippie lady who stayed on the mountain apparently quite a bit back in the day. The funny thing was, I knew this woman back in the Haight Ashbury in San Francisco. She called herself "Cosmic Lady" and wore rainbow clothes. She always declared "The rent on the planet is due". And here a whole chapter about her was featured in this book!

I've always found it funny how trained archeologists do their level best to document the locations of lost but otherwise mundane civilizations or ruins and tell damn near anybody within ear shot about them. You know, so they don't get lost again. But when amateurs stumble over lost, hitherto unknown and damn near miraculous civilizations and/or their relics, they just seal the place back up and say: "Ah the hell with it." People with autistic children should try to teach them that if they can't find mom or dad and are out in the trees, out of a tent, etc. to blow a whistle. Another good one is the child is afraid of strangers is to use a word that they associate with help or come here. Then the rescuers could use this to call out to them and they would acknowledge them. I would not use a standard word myself, I would use a word that only you would know to say to them that they would be safe. As mentioned, they are more susceptible to bad people with bad intentions! As kids, my parents took us camping often all over the US. When hiking or away from the campsite, they always had us wear whistles in case we got lost. I have also used a harness on them when they were very little as it only takes a seconds look away for them to be gone! I have tried to get zoos to adapt this policy as well to no avail to make it safe for adults, children and the animals. The parents want to be able to look around too, so having your child on a harness gives you that ability. The second it becomes taunt, or to lose, you know to look to see what thy are up to.

So I spent a few year in McCould. There some very strange and mysterious stuff the happen in the area. My step father told me some amazing stories. Here are two that were very cool.
So one day while sitting at a diner in MT. Shasta city he heard a huge crash. Turning to look out side he seen and accident happen. One of his friends crash his car or van in to another truck head on. He jumped up and ran outside only to find nothing. No crash, in fact no one else seen anything. Later that night he learned his friend had a head on crash killing him in the same spot he seen it earlier.
While out hunting early morning on the black fox mountain range. These strange lights red blue green purple were racing around in the woods while he was resting at the foot of a tree near an open field. These light were in the woods just 20 to 30 ft in the tree line. He said they looked like they were communicating and playing almost like tag. These red beams came from the sky above. He said they looked like lazers. Came down hitting and scanning the color lights. They all stopped moving. While being still they rose up into the air. In a big burst of light they vanished. He came home and told us this right after.
As a kid off pilgrim creek road. There used to be another road I cant recall the name we would travel down to cut and load wood. There are skulls human skulls laying on the side of the road. Ive seen them with my own eyes. I was always curious about them. When I asked about them he told me never ever stop on that road. As a young man his car broke down there once. He heard voices and seen dark shadows moving through the trees. He said it most likely an Indian burial ground disturbed by the road being placed through it. The skulls he assumed that they were left as a warning not to stop on the road.

During some summers Beetls the size of bats would swarm the town. Still one of the more ridiculous things I've seen. Not trying to change the subject but Ive never heard anyone mention that. There are so many stories I've heard. The things I've seen from pictures and museums over there. It does not surprise me this place is full of Mystery and even further mysterious going ons. The town is called McCloud California if you feel like looking it up. I remember not sure what year it was 92 94. But you could walk across the top of the snow to the roof of the house that we lived in. Used to think all those stories that Grandma and Grandpa told us were BS. But over there I feel like you could really walk up hill both ways to and from school. It's just a mysterious place. By the way I am going to also freely admit my stepfather had a strange connection to the other worldly he predicted the Los Angeles earthquake 2 days before it happened. I always used to think he was bullshitting until that happened. I've never seen anybody predict something with such accuracy.

Any enviroment can become deadly and dangerous, if you take it for granted. Respecting Nature, never going alone and having awareness when in Nature go a long way.

I camp out regularly by myself and have seen a few strange things including a spirit, ghost, apparition or whatever one would call it. It obviously wasn't an evil spirit because it caused me no harm.
I guess that if someone is uncomfortable about going out alone then they shouldn't do it, but I go out and I'm sixty something years old now and I enjoy the peace and quiet. I do carry enough fire power for wherever I'm going though.
Always better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
Some people are apparently nervous by nature I guess.

We have a ranch in the Texas Hill Country where tribes made numerous encampments back in the day, probably because the Perdanales River runs right through the property and there are high cliffs, a perfect place to camp and have a vantage point where you can easily see and hear someone coming. There are also numerous animals, big cats, hogs, steers, and escaped exotics from the ranch next door. They stock strange animals from all over for hunters, and some of them ALWAYS get out. We always carry a rifle or gun, I've run into big antelope just walking around. I still think mountains are pretty hazardous. That doesn't mean weird things don't happen anywhere, I've had paranormal experiences at the ranch more than anywhere else, but so much has happened there, it's not surprising. I just don't feel comfortable around mountains or forests. I really like the big open land.

Mount Shasta is the present-day home of the Lemurians, their city of Telos inside/beneath the mountain. Read the possibly true story I Remember Lemuria Book by Richard S. Shaver. You may find yourself trecking Mount Shasta someday yourself. Will you be admitted to the city and never return?

I grew up up the Redding area. Spent a lot of time fishing, hiking and camping at places like Whiskeytown, Shasta Lake, Trinity River, Hat Creek Burney Falls, Fall River, Whitmore, Mineral, Upper Sac, Burney, McCloud, Mt Shasta, Pit River, Klamath River, Hoopa, Dunsmuir, Mt Shasta, Mt Lassen, Keswick, Igo, Shingletown, etc. I’ve experienced a few very strange incidents and fully back the strangeness of those areas. Personally, my strangest experiences were at the areas of the McCloud River Preserve, McCloud Falls (middle to upper), Little Castle Lake, Burney/Big Bend, and Panther Meadows.
