    Love to see people still using the nova delay. It’s such a great pedal.

    Hi there, sir! I wanted to express my admiration for your videos; they've truly left an impression on me. Recently, I made a purchase of the 1 Spot Pro CS7, as I was captivated by its features. I happen to own over 10 pedals myself, and I've noticed that you manage to power multiple pedals with the same power supply without experiencing any noise issues. I'm curious to know if you also use daisy chains for your setup. If so, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could share which pedals specifically you connect using daisy chains. Thank you so much!

      Nope, no fancy pedals needed indeed! Just pedals you choose to help you achieve the sound you want and your hands to play well.

      @@JemmyJems yup exactly! I got a lot of my friends who were mad I sold off my strymon bigsky and timeline and ended up doing the flint and el cap. And till this day they still don’t understand why I sold the big strymon boxes for the smaller ones. But in reality that’s really all I needed lol. I downsize to a smaller board and never looked back and it works for me till this day

    What made you choose the HX stomp over the more powerful units now available?

    • @JemmyJems
      @JemmyJems  2 роки тому

      I explained it in the video. It fits on my board and dhas all the same effects, amps, cabs, IRs as my helix.

      @@JemmyJems I was more saying you’ve got things like the Headrush MX5/Pedalboard and Boss GT Core that are relatively the same size with a lot seemingly more power so less chance of maxing out DSP.

      @@isaacandhismusic1153 cause i like the sounds of effects and amps from the helix line of products

      @@isaacandhismusic1153 In reality, it's not the pure DSP power that matters as much, as the algorithms, the models, and the UI. The HX Stomp is still incredibly popular and sounds great, with lots of great amp and cab models, the ability to add your own IRs and download patches from other players (free or paid). And the price is pretty good, especially second hand. There are lots of comparison videos of the Headrush and GT Core vs the HX Stomp, and just about all of them come down to "they are all great, pick the one you like best". I got my HX Stomp second hand for £300 ($360 USD) and it's fantastic. I'd probably have been as happy with the GT Core (if it had been out then) but there's certainly no reason for me to change over.
      And since @Jemmuel is already using a Helix and can exchange patches with it, then it makes perfect sense to stick with something that is good enough and doesn't require relearning the user interface.
      Since I got my HX Stomp I got the Helix Floor too, since I have a Variax guitar which means I can switch models on the guitar from the Helix too ... so I can play a Strat on one song, switch to a Gibson Acoustic on the second, and to a Les Paul on the third, just by pressing a footswitch! None of the other units allows me to do that. :)

      Hey Man! If you're starting out and are new to pedals, I highly highly recommend getting a digital type multi fx pedal rig. Something like the LIne6 Podgo - has same helix and hx stomp effects, but it's much more limited in what it can do/ process. But it's by far one of the most best bang for bucks there is!! Let me know how that goes
