Here we are 3 years later. Honestly I feel this is tragically underrated genius movie. The funniest part is of course that the satire songs are not much different than songs you would actually hear on the radio today
One of the best comedy movies of a decade
The last great comedy movie ever created. 8 years on and nothing comes close.

How is an "80 minute movie seems like almost 2 hours" a minor flaw? Chris spent half of his review explaining what he didn't like about the movie.
Stuckmann constantly does this though, he'll praise a movie then mention some minor flaws and then suddenly his score is very low, I personally prefer reviewers who score out of 10 (what the flick?!) or 5 (Schmoes Know)

I actually love this movie. One thing I will say about the music Conner writes is that they're not just good in an ironic sense, I actually legitimately like the songs in the movie, in particular Finest Girl and Incredible Thoughts.

I am attending Full Sail University on campus, and I can't say I'm liking the school much. They're very uncommunicative. I will definitely say that I've met some really cool people there, and the instructors are helpful. I won't discourage people from checking it out, but I'm disappointed that the school doesn't push story. It's very technical, and people pretend like a film can be good just because it looks cool. I believe any and every film school should value the importance of creating stories. The positives I will say, is that there are a lot of things you can learn based off of the technical side. I personally have no interest in doing Grip Work, or Set Construction, or Boom-Op, but I can acknowledge that people may want to do that, and it gives people the opportunity to work with that. I just want to write stories, but the envelope isn't pushed for that, so I feel left out. You're great Chris, that's not changing. Your decision to partner with the school is a decision I can respect.

Kody Pendleton from what I hear they don't really teach much. They just show you how to make things look good enough for advertisements and that's about it.
It has NXT, though.
Because it's what's called a "for-profit" university. They're expensive, don't teach much and aren't seriously considered by the majority of the professional world. A degree at one of these universities have about as much weight as a community college degree, but are exponentially more expensive.
That's why Chris emphasized "highly respected", because he was probably told to specifically mention that Full Sail was "highly respected" in the contract. Because in reality, it's the opposite of "highly respected".
Other examples of for-profit universities include University of Phoenix and DeVry. If you see just about any university (aside from your local ones) advertising regularly, then it's almost certainly a for-profit one. Universities that are actually "highly respected" don't need to advertise, except maybe about some of their grad and post-grad programs every once in a while.
They have a campus in Orlando and we don't take it serious here. I remember one of their representatives coming to my old high school promising us free MacBooks if we enrolled, lol. I'm not sure about anywhere else.

Hey chris, can you review a movie called Waiting.. it is a Bollywood film (without musicals) and i think it is absolutely brilliant. It is about a fairly sensitive topic however it handles it exceedingly well without being offensive. it isn't stretched out and it doesn't become monotonous like many Bollywood film(it is about 1 hour and 30 mins). PS it majority of the language is in English however their are Hindi parts to it however they are very accurately translated ( it is a hybrid called hinglish) Thanks.
I hate this movie is so much, only because all the ads on UA-cam annoy me. They appear so much too the point I'm annoyed when I see the first second of it. I can't wait for this ad to just disappear.

I was really looking forward to those Sundays and I'd open up UA-cam and put him on and I haven't been able to do that since he pretty much first said he's doing them regularly. Even he seemed really excited to do it. If he told us "hey guys I wanna ease up on my work load cause my braces hurt or just personal issues" that would have been considerate. Instead we get a broken promise. I'm not trying to seem butt hurt, I was just really really excited about it and I've been let down. I still watch his content every time he uploads something, but still. Oh well.

I wanted to go to full sail so bad when I was younger (like 9-10)! I wanted to go so bad I wrote the heads a letter with my qualifications. I got a letter in return (saying I was too young to go to college, surprisingly enough) and a bag full of merchandise.
Full Sail is a great thing to know for people like me who want to make a career out of filmmaking, but are not sure where to start. Thanks, Chris.

I literally just graduated from Full Sail University. I did the whole thing online, I had an amazing experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone interested in the entertainment industry. I received my BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment. It took me 2 1/2 years to graduate, and I payed just under 50k. That's a good chunk of change, and it was a lot of work, but to earn a degree that quickly and start my career early is priceless.

Why is that?
An online degree often doesn't create many career options to justify its price. Tbh a lot of real colleges are not worth the money too. It really depends on what you want to use the information for and whether your using it to build credentials or just to learn.
I remember researching heavily into this school and thinking it was the perfect place. But the deeper you dive into it, you learn that it's not worth the money they're asking you to spend because they don't "practice what they preach," to be blunt. These are things I learned from student reviews. I'd hoped for better, though. Seemed promising.

I like this movie a lot.
It's basically a new twist on "This Is Spinal Tap," and that is high praise. Because it borrows so many ideas from "This Is Spinal Tap," it's not a classic like that movie, but many of the jokes are funnier and more outrageous...like if "This Is Spinal Tap" had a baby with "There's Something about Mary."
