The Groom Rules

Really fun video clip from this morning's skijor. The clip starts as we have just encountered a groomer coming up the trail. We know the groomer drivers and they stop and wave us on (they love watching Jack & Rudy too) as this is where the clip starts. Once past the groomer, Jack & Rudy know what to do with a "fresh groom" and off we ZOOM! Then, we approach a fun tight left corner that I love to take fast with them. But, I see a skier coming up trail through the trees so am slowing instead. Once around the corner we see the skier has a (loose) dog with her. Jack & Rudy do enjoy meeting the occasional dog on the trail; but today we had this fresh groom! Watch as Jack & Rudy give the dog a fleeting glance as if to say, "Sorry dude, the fresh groom RULES! Later, ZOOM!" and off we go flying again. Jack & Rudy's love for running and running at speed far outweighs their interest in meeting a random dog :)
