Have had this pistol a few years now and loved it so much that I bought the CZ P-01 . The 97 I had gotten some after market mags and for some reason when I swap to them they activate the slide soon as it bottoms out . Obviously the factory mags do not do that . Ever run into that ?
I have only used CZ & Tanfoglio magazines. My 97, In slide lock, with a fully loaded magazine seated firmly will cause the slide to release without manipulation or by hitting the slide lock/release lever. This is the same whether using the CZ or Tanfo mags. My Shadow 2 and Shadow 1 react the same way. In my opinion, this is not a bad thing because if you are on the clock it saves time on the reload. @@shaolinwarriormark All Cajun internals along with front and rear sight. Extended mag release and safety from CZ Custom. CZ Custom magwell and base pads. Extended base pads are Henning and of course LOK Grips.
Thank you. The Tanfoglio K45 mags will work and are the same as the CZ with different markings. The picture shows a Tanfo mag with a Henning ext base pad giving total capacity of twelve.

Good shooting. What have you found for mags on the 97b? I only found factory 10 rounders with 3d bases.

@@kynansutter3445 I can fit 12 in mine...11 work best..very springy on the 12th round.
