the "team edward vs team jacob" thing was never serious. it was just marketing for the movies. in the books as well as in the movies its very clear that bella and edward are endgame, the jacob love triangle is just there for shits and giggles tbh 😭😭
NEVER CLICKED A RAGGEDY PACK VIDEO REACTION SO DAMN FAST. TWILIGHT IS SUCH A GOOD MOVIE. I DIDN'T CARE FOR THE ONES. TWILIGHT 1 AND 2 ARE THE BEST ONES OUT OF THE FRANCHISE. LET'S GO!
I personally don't like new moon that much it was alot Jacob (but I get why) lol BUT it had the best opening scene out of all the films. The opening scene really captures Bellas fear with mortality at the moment and I love the line "Heaven" Edward delivers when she goes to save him because in the book he kept his eyes closed for like five minutes believing that was Heaven. Side note: the blue tint on the first movie is iconic
Important detail about the color of vampire eyes' irises: BLACK - hungry (like Edward when Bella first saw him. After he came back from hunting, his eyes color changed, leading to the "do you wear contacts" question from Bella. The trio of vampires' eyes were also black when they descended on the Cullens and Bella) RED - eats humans, drink human blood AMBER - doesnt eat or drink anything human Later on in the series we will see something that will give us chills. But if you aren't aware of the above, you won't grasp it.
I feel like there's been a Twilight reaction revival here on UA-cam and I'm all here for it. Please keep them coming! And fun fact, if someone else hasn't said it yet, the song in the restaurant scene and at the ballet studio were both sung by Robert Pattinson.
The Raggedy Pack never fails to make the best movie reactions. Between all the banter, facial expressions, and jokes, they are literally the best. Also, why can I not get over none of the boys recognizing Anna Kendrick? 😂 I was waiting for one of them to point it out or mention it was her the entire reaction.
Blake, Corey, and Igil, Rosalie Hale is played by Nikki Reed. Nikki is married to Ian Somerhalder who plays Damon Salvatore in real life. After he and Nina broke up Ian got with Nikki.
I think the glimpse of her school friends while they were leaving town was supposed to contrast the normal teenage life she could be living if she had made different choices.
So excited you are finally reacting to "Twilight" Blake, Corey, Igli, and Matthew. Im surprised you didn't seem to recognize Anna Kendrick's or Christina Serratos ( of TWD ) aka Jessica and Angela, Belle's new friends. And that there weren't any TVD references during this reaction as there were so many similarities story wise in TVD.
Lol I read the books and was so scared Edward wouldn't be our book Edward the casting for him was perfect he even had the crooked smile they talk about.
And the long wait is over I’m so excited for yall to react to these movies! As a former 14 year old girl who had literal merch and posters and an actual cardboard cutout of Taylor Lautner I hold these movies near and dear to my heart. And as a current 29 year old women I love to laugh at how cringe and obviously questionable these movies are. But they’re always a favorite to rewatch and might I say I consider it a cult classic 🤔
also: Taken, Wall-E, Cloverfield, the Day the Earth Stood Still, the Strangers, Yes Man, In Bruges, the Happening, Wanted, Tropic Thunder, the Hurt Locker, Let The Right One In, Pineapple Express, the Ruin, Lakeview Terrace. Indeed lots of great and fun movies that year!
If you read the books, you can see some of the subtlety that Rob Pattinson adds to his character in the movies. He’s really playing the piano also and when he is sucking the venom from her wrist, that’s his original song in the background with him singing. New Moon is a lot of Jacob…new Jacob. Can’t wait till you guys watch that.👍
I wish I could say the whole scenes where Bella is first meeting people in her new school were super fake, but I lived it. I transferred schools a month into high school, to a school where essentially all the students had been classmates their whole lives. Walking in, I was definitely the new toy. Everyone was trying to hang out with me, and get to know me, and some were trying really hard to be my friend showing me around everywhere telling me who was who. The guys were weird too because it was a new girl in their "boring pool of the same girls," so it was like competition there like day 1 for them to try and talk to me.
Fun facts/details: Author Stephenie Meyer's first choice to play Bella was Emily Browning, who was asked to audition but turned it down. Jennifer Lawrence, Brie Larson, Lily Collins, Michelle Trachtenberg and Frances Bean Cobain (daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love) also auditioned for the role. Kristen Stewart was recommended by Emile Hirsch, her co-star from Into the Wild. She was actually the director's first choice to play Bella after seeing her in that. Henry Cavill was Stephenie's first choice to play Edward. However, by the time production was to begin, he was "too old". He was then offered the part of Carlisle but turned it down due to his commitment with The Tudors. Jackson Rathbone (Jasper) was among 4 finalists. Robert Pattinson had never heard of the books and only attended casting because his agent persuaded him and he liked Kristen Stewart's performance in Into the Wild (she had already been cast). He flew from England to Catherine Hardwicke's house to audition. There, he and Kristen rehearsed the "love scene/meadow scene" on Catherine's own bed. As soon as he was cast, he moved to Oregon (where the movie was filmed) and started working out 5 hours a day with a trainer. He also didn't talk to anyone the weeks before filming began to try and feel as isolated as Edward. Tyler Posey was Stephenie Meyer's first choice to play Jacob and he made it far in the audition process. He would later land the leading role of a werewolf on MTV's Teen Wolf. Stephenie wanted Tom Welling (Clark Kent/Superman in Smallville) as Emmett, while Cam Gigandet (James) was originally cast. However, he asked the director if he could play the role of James instead and she agreed. Robert Pattinson wrote and sang two songs to the movie: "Never Think" which plays during the restaurant scene and "Let Me Sign" which plays during the scene where Edward has to drink Bella's blood to save her. Nikki Reed actually secretly recorded him singing and playing guitar in-between filming. She then took it to the director and producers where they fell in love with his songs, and the next day they asked Rob if he could record a few of his songs for the soundtrack and he reluctantly accepted. He is also actually playing the piano. Additionally, Rob's sister, Lizzy Pattinson, is singing background vocals in the song playing when Edward first enters the cafeteria. It was Kristen Stewart, however, who suggested the prom dance song "Flightless Bird, American Mouth" by Iron & Wine. The way Edward holds the apple in the cafeteria is indeed a nod to the book cover, they do that for all the books/movies. Catherine Hardwicke said that it took them 13 takes to get it right. The apple is not only a symbol for the forbidden but in Scandinavian mythology it is a symbol for eternal youth and beauty. However, on her official website, Stephenie Meyer says she used it because of the past literary connections like in Snow White and the Golden Apple Paris gives to Aphrodite in Greek Mythology, because, to her, apple represents choice. Stephenie Meyer was very much involved in the production process. She was on set during filming and even asked to give notes on the script and on a rough cut of the movie. She fought for one line in particular, one of the most well-known from the book about the lion and the lamb. She also makes a cameo in the movie. She is the woman with the laptop at the diner in the scene where Charlie asks Bella if she likes any of the boys in town. Kristen Stewart's stunt double, Katie Powers, also plays a waitress at the diner. Stephanie also wrote Midnight Sun which is basically this book/movie from Edward’s POV. There is also Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined, a gender-swapped retelling of this one. This book was originally named Forks. When Bella is searching the internet and finds the link for the bookstore, the link above it is for Little Brown, which is the publisher of the books. The blue and grey color tones (the desaturated turquoise) throughout the movie are supposed to symbolise the coldness of vampires, the dullness of the town and the difficulties of Bella and Edward's relationship. It can also be attributed to the filmmaking style of Catherine Hardwicke who used a similar colour selection in Thirteen. The next movie, New Moon, was directed by Chris Weitz who used warmer brown and orange colors. The colour of a vampire's eyes in Twilight changes based on their diet and thirst levels. Vampires with golden/yellow eyes like the Cullens only consume animal blood (they call themselves "vegetarians"), making them more capable of being around humans. Black eyes indicate the need to feed. Vampires with red eyes usually only consume human blood. Newborns also have bright red eyes due to the human blood still present in them. All of the Cullens can be seen wearing jewelry with the same symbol on it (the Cullen family crest). Edward, Jasper and Emmett all have the same wristband, Alice and Rosalie have similar necklaces, Esme has a bracelet and Carlisle has a ring. Also, Peter Facinelli had the idea for his character to be frequently seen wearing scarves and/or shirts with high collars. In the scene where Bella goes to the Cullen's house for the first time and Rosalie breaks the bowl, Nikki Reed actually cut her hands in a previous take (which is why she is wearing gloves). The red contacts worn by Laurent, Victoria and James were hand-painted by Catherine Hardwicke. All the actors portraying vampires were asked to stay out of the sun as much as possible. When Bella and Edward are lying in the meadow, the sun coming through the trees makes a heart between them. And when they are entering prom, Victoria can be seen at a slot machine to Bella's right.
The actress playing Angela, plays Rosita in The Walking Dead, big step up for her. Forks, WA is on the Peninsula. There is the northern most rainforest between it and Seattle, Hoh Rainforest. Forks is just on the western edge of it. It rains a lot there. It was a cute little town when I was there before this movie, which wasn't filmed in Forks.
Why did i think you guys already did this movie? 😂😂😂 Welp let me grab a snack. Lol I'm most excited for Blake's reaction to this but TVD maybe softened him up 😂😂😂 but TVD is much better
It’s always so much better when guys can just go with it. We don’t love these movies because they’re well done cinematic masterpieces. We love them for the criiiiiinge. The teenage angsty cringe we felt when we read the books. And a lot of people say the first movie is the worst…. Personally I love the small budget campy vibes that are in the first one the best but the last one is pretty good too ✨
Yesssss this I hate when people listen to the comments I've seen a few channels react to this and they all say "yes it's cringe but who wasn't in high school" and they end up actually loving the series because it's fun, has romance, and the vampire rules are different.
If you ever get around to reading the books, include Midnight Sun when you finish the rest. Could also be read after Twilight but I'd recommend it after the initial series. The main series is mostly from Bella's POV, sometimes Jacob's. MS is from Edward's and it is seriously unhinged. The ways he thought about killing Bella in the classroom alone are wild. That and the whole imprinting nonsense makes me question Stefanie Meyer's sanity.
The first film came out when I was 11. it’s still so nostalgic with the dark rain backdrop, it does have some cringey/funny parts now that I’m older but I still love going back and doing reruns at least once a year. The other films are so much brighter lol. I think the first 2 are my favorite overall.
I literally screamed out loud and clicked so fast, I love that you all are doing the twilight series! I’ve been following you since the start of TVD and excited you will continue on with the cringy vampire rage of the late 2000s, these books were amazing, the movies… are hilariously bad in its own iconic way, horrible acting but that’s what makes it such a cult classic
Charlie is the best character. I hope the remake is better. Side note: the actor who plays Charlie is a main character in the tv show Zoo, and I love him! Another grumpy character lol.
omgggg, i was obsessed with the twilight series growing up. it's definitely way more cringy now watching it but it's still my go to movies to watch because of the nostalgia lol #teamedward
Edit: I'm sorry... how did you not recognize LEXI from VAMPIRE DIARIES in the boat scene with the other 2 vampires!? This was THE fantasy back in my middle school days. Who didn't want a hot vampire boyfriend obsessed with you? And then a hot werewolf boyfriend. This franchise started the whole "Team vs Team" concept, and I was always Team Edward. I read all four books in less than a week when I was only 12. Twilight special place in my heart. Rewatching it now, it's more cringe, but back then it was taken so seriously. And as toxic as their relationship seems now, it was such a passionate love story back in the day. And no, it wasn't a dream. He would watch her sleep. We all thought it was romantic. Also, why is Blake wearing a Jays shirt? Ps. In the books, Bella says: "Edward in the sunlight was shocking. I couldn't get used to it, though I'd been staring at him all afternoon. His skin, white despite the faint flush from yesterday's hunting trip, literally sparkled, like thousands of tiny diamonds were embedded in the surface". When you become a vampire, you automatically become more attractive in features and your essence draws people in. So that's why it's hard to resist a vampire, because there's a physical and chemical component drawing humans to them which makes them easy prey. There was A LOT of backlash about making vampires sparkle in the sunlight.
Omgosh I'm so excited!!! I was a teen in the early 2000s so of course I was obsessed!!! Team Edward all the way...Jacob drives me crazy.....Also Charlie is thee best character of the series! Hands down 😂❤
y'all are funny, fun fact Robert Pattison was singing the song playing in the dinner and when Edward was sucking the venom out of Bella. Also kind of irrelevant but my senior prom two years ago was Las Vegas and we had casino games like black jack, poker, roulette, ect.
I still love these movies anytime It's a rainy day I put on twilight It's such a comfort and reminds me of a simple time in my life where my buggest issues was team edward or team jacob lol. Few things to point out: Kristen acts exactly like Bella in the books people like to be dramatic about her when she's every cringe high school kid No Bella didn't fall inlove over night they were talking for weeks even months Edward is in fact 17 he is STUCK mentally and physically at 17 lets get over that It will seem like Bella only cares about Bella but what they leave out is bella basically had to parent both parents in a way Taylor wasn't suppose to come back after this film because by new moon Jacob is like 6'2 muscled and looks 25😂 People love Charlie and same but I think it's easier when they leave out how biased from the movie iykyk. Everybody wears a wing i think except for edward and bella wore one in eclipse you'll see it's horrible 😂 In the book Mindnight Sun (Edward's POV) he actually thought about taking out the whole class just to tast bellas blood he has never been around somebody like her she equally draws him in and he doesn't understand it In the books Carlisle actually tried to set up Edward and Rose but they didn't see each other that way Edward is the one who went the longest without a "mate" hence Carlise trying to fix him up Nikkie Reed (Rose) is Married to Ian (Damon) from the vampire diaries.💕 33:58 They don't touch on her backstory but I think it's important to note Alice is the only one in the cullen family that had her gift BEFORE being turned and it wasn't by Carlise. Alice could always see the future and I believe she saw her dad hire somebody to kill her mom and he threw her in qn asylum where James actually was coming after her and a vampire at the asylum who worked there changed her. Anyways love it or hate it people still manage to have fun and mention it in relation to other vampire films. ❤
I loove the Shark Boy callout 😂 My sister and i loved making fun of that movie growing up. I think Igly's a secret Twilight fanatic 😅😅 This movie is cringe in the best way lmao

✨THIS IS THE SKIN OF A KILLER BELLA ✨
Side note: The actress who plays Edwards sister, Rosalie, is married to Damon from TVD IRL!
Blake finally getting to react to comedies like he always wanted.
"This is the start of a toxic relationship"
Foreshadowing all the saga
That's what I thought as well lol 😂😭
Not really... I've seen toxic relationship.
Dude, I can’t between Jacob’s wig, Bella’s unstoppable blinking/head shaking, and Edwards psychopathic stares😂🤣💀
Blake and Matt dying with laughter at the Minor League dude's lousy batting was a highlight. I would never have noticed.
"... in the state of Washington" 🤣🤣🤣
I died laughing at that.
The best character in this series is Bella's dad 😂
At least movie wise! The book version is pretty toxic!
Don't forget Alice!
It is really about a human girl choosing between necrophilia or beastility.
LOL
The mom (Esme Cullen) is the oldest sister from Hill House!
BLAKE, I hope you read this.
the "team edward vs team jacob" thing was never serious. it was just marketing for the movies. in the books as well as in the movies its very clear that bella and edward are endgame, the jacob love triangle is just there for shits and giggles tbh 😭😭
NEVER CLICKED A RAGGEDY PACK VIDEO REACTION SO DAMN FAST. TWILIGHT IS SUCH A GOOD MOVIE. I DIDN'T CARE FOR THE ONES. TWILIGHT 1 AND 2 ARE THE BEST ONES OUT OF THE FRANCHISE. LET'S GO!
Good movie? The best. I remember 7 yr old self wtching for the first time in 2009 and being completely hypnotized.
@@JeffSNIPErswhen I say the best I mean 1 and 2 are the only good ones even though all of them are watchable.
Also, all these movies have wicked good soundtracks, I had them all on CD lol
This reaction just reminded me to put those CDs in my car. 😂
Important detail about the color of vampire eyes' irises:
BLACK - hungry (like Edward when Bella first saw him. After he came back from hunting, his eyes color changed, leading to the "do you wear contacts" question from Bella. The trio of vampires' eyes were also black when they descended on the Cullens and Bella)
RED - eats humans, drink human blood
AMBER - doesnt eat or drink anything human
Later on in the series we will see something that will give us chills. But if you aren't aware of the above, you won't grasp it.
Igli's catch of the book cover was incredible even book fans don't catch that
Team dad here 🥰
I feel like there's been a Twilight reaction revival here on UA-cam and I'm all here for it. Please keep them coming! And fun fact, if someone else hasn't said it yet, the song in the restaurant scene and at the ballet studio were both sung by Robert Pattinson.
Also Matthew saying he thought he’d (Edward) look like Voldemort when he first walks into the sunlight 😂
Let's gooo! I adore Twilight, it's so cringe but so good at the same time. Such a guilty pleasure!
Blake, Corey, and Igil, Rosalie Hale is played by Nikki Reed.
Nikki is married to Ian Somerhalder who plays Damon Salvatore in real life.
After he and Nina broke up Ian got with Nikki.
That wasn’t a snake. It was a type of kelp.
I think the glimpse of her school friends while they were leaving town was supposed to contrast the normal teenage life she could be living if she had made different choices.
Robert Patterson gave off very much Patrick Bateman vibes in this movie like 😂😭
Well, whether you like Twilight or not, Stephenie Myer is skipping all the way to the bank.
Period love or hate it the fact people are STILL talking about it so much we are getting reactions give her those flowers 😂
The dad is played by Billy Burke and he was in fact in revolution. They actually got a stacked cast for this series
Team Charlie😊 He is also Great in Red Riding Hood.
Team Alice cuz she can see the Future plus she is Amazing. Esme is Adult Shirley in The Haunting of Hill House.
Well not stacked at the time… lol
Billy played the uncle in Revolution.
Fun fact: That’s R. Patz singing in the soundtrack in the hospital scene.
I’m sure we can all agree.. seeing the Gazebo was the greatest part of this film
39:28 haha the plot twist, "no me watching you sleep" T-T
0:29 Matthew's introduction 😂
So excited you are finally reacting to "Twilight" Blake, Corey, Igli, and Matthew.
Im surprised you didn't seem to recognize Anna Kendrick's or Christina Serratos ( of TWD ) aka Jessica and Angela, Belle's new friends.
And that there weren't any TVD references during this reaction as there were so many similarities story wise in TVD.
Did you know Rosalie from Twilight is married to Damon from Vampire Diaries in real life?
8:02 wrong sir. That is Cedrick Digory 😜
Me before watching this in high school: “These books are lame!”
After watching the movie: “Why is everyone in this hot?!” 😍
Lol I read the books and was so scared Edward wouldn't be our book Edward the casting for him was perfect he even had the crooked smile they talk about.

I will say, though that the soundtrack is killer
2008 was a year of cinema. The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Kung Fu Panda, Twilight.
lol one is not like the others.
Meet The Spartans, Strange Wilderness, Tropic Thunder
also: Taken, Wall-E, Cloverfield, the Day the Earth Stood Still, the Strangers, Yes Man, In Bruges, the Happening, Wanted, Tropic Thunder, the Hurt Locker, Let The Right One In, Pineapple Express, the Ruin, Lakeview Terrace. Indeed lots of great and fun movies that year!
@illigilbates9561The Happening might be the worst movie of all time. And most these are meh movies.
34:04 the mum is from The Haunting of Hill House.

15:31 Yep, that's exactly what it is. Toxic to the core 🤣
While TWILIGHT was big, there would be students occasionally wearing Team Jacob shirts, showing Jacob shirtless of course. It was quite distracting.
The best Vampire show is True Blood on HBO.
You guys need to watch 50 Shades of Grey to!!!
Omg so excited for this series!!
These movies are SO GOOFY!!!!! They make me laugh everytime! I love to see yall laughing along ❤

The muse soundtrack for the baseball scene was excellent
Good call on the Shark boy thing 😂

59:24 He's caught up on the tea! lol
So cool… what is the surprise tonight …so glad you guys are doing Twilight now😀👍
👮Charlie is the Best!!!
I freaking looooooooooooove you guys
okay this makes the no vampire diaries week a lot better lol
Virginia in the HOUSE!✨👑
I hate this movies but I love laughing with others while watching reaction videos❤ Greetings from Germany
Alright I Actually enjoy just the universe of the series. The lore behind these vampires and beasties as a diversion from classic tropes
Charlie is the best character. I hope the remake is better.
Side note: the actor who plays Charlie is a main character in the tv show Zoo, and I love him! Another grumpy character lol.
I have also been waiting for this day for a very long time Blake :)
I'm a fan of this franchise as a whole! They are great if you don't take them seriously
omgggg, i was obsessed with the twilight series growing up. it's definitely way more cringy now watching it but it's still my go to movies to watch because of the nostalgia lol #teamedward
Loved watching this with you guys 🤌 Can't wait for the rest of the franchise 😁🔥
Young zillinials that haven't seen Twilight are lying or didn't know a single girl in their teens.😂
Hands down 😂❤
The laugh I just blurted out after reading the title and seeing the thumbnail 🤦
18:17 Never in my mind i would hear Blake say those words from heaven! 🥰😍😍😍❤
I learned ALOT during this reaction 😅
Truly one of the worst series i've ever come across but its iconic
It’s oddly very entertaining
Way worse series there is a reason this is iconic 😂
y'all are funny, fun fact Robert Pattison was singing the song playing in the dinner and when Edward was sucking the venom out of Bella. Also kind of irrelevant but my senior prom two years ago was Las Vegas and we had casino games like black jack, poker, roulette, ect.
I think it was Seaweed not a Snake that the guy was chasing the girl with. Red ♥️ Vines sre 😎 Cool.
You don need to be talking every second. Its ok to actually be into the movie and listen to the dialogue, i promise.
I read all the books as the movies were released. Hope you boys enjoy them 😁🫶🏻
I miss Cojo and Blake on the same video. 😪 I hope their schedules improve and the bois are back together.
This a classic
This has probably already been mentioned, but Kristen Stewart & R. Pats were falling in love, IRL, during filming 🖤🌹🖤🧛🏻♀️
Hype! lol These movies.
Mouth breathers xD
This will be a journey, but I'm learning to trust.
I still love these movies anytime It's a rainy day I put on twilight It's such a comfort and reminds me of a simple time in my life where my buggest issues was team edward or team jacob lol.
Few things to point out:
Kristen acts exactly like Bella in the books people like to be dramatic about her when she's every cringe high school kid
No Bella didn't fall inlove over night they were talking for weeks even months
Edward is in fact 17 he is STUCK mentally and physically at 17 lets get over that
It will seem like Bella only cares about Bella but what they leave out is bella basically had to parent both parents in a way
Taylor wasn't suppose to come back after this film because by new moon Jacob is like 6'2 muscled and looks 25😂
People love Charlie and same but I think it's easier when they leave out how biased from the movie iykyk.
Everybody wears a wing i think except for edward and bella wore one in eclipse you'll see it's horrible 😂
In the book Mindnight Sun (Edward's POV) he actually thought about taking out the whole class just to tast bellas blood he has never been around somebody like her she equally draws him in and he doesn't understand it
In the books Carlisle actually tried to set up Edward and Rose but they didn't see each other that way
Edward is the one who went the longest without a "mate" hence Carlise trying to fix him up
Nikkie Reed (Rose) is Married to Ian (Damon) from the vampire diaries.💕
33:58 They don't touch on her backstory but I think it's important to note Alice is the only one in the cullen family that had her gift BEFORE being turned and it wasn't by Carlise.
Robert Pattinson and KJ Apa do not look alike. Mathew needs glasses I think.
Halfway thru the vid so not sure if you bring it up later but Blake the mom is the actress who plays adult Shirley in the Haunting of Hill House
I loove the Shark Boy callout 😂 My sister and i loved making fun of that movie growing up. I think Igly's a secret Twilight fanatic 😅😅 This movie is cringe in the best way lmao
Ooooh this is gunna be fricken great
I loved this movie when I was younger but now that I'm older, all I see are all the blaring red flags.
I love yall being like now kith half the movie 😂😂😂
Oh my god I’m so excited!!! 😝 P.S. it’s not “hilarious”, it’s very serious and you’d better give it the respect it deserves! 😜
I can’t stop cringing
When is the 2nd twilight movie coming to UA-cam
Probably same time next week. It's already out on Patreon though.
@ oh okay thank you
Same time next week
