I'd love to see an updated MG God Gundam, perhaps even a ver Ka one. I enjoyed the look of the Fix Figuration version from many years ago and always thought it'd be great to see that version in kit form. As for MG Justice, yeah, it's waaaay over due. This would be a good opportunity as any for Bandai to finally make it happen.
Freedom Gundam 2.0? Or Gelgoog 2.0? Yes, they are very different mobile suits But I love both And I dont know wich is better to pick up Also the Gelgoog is out of stock and the Freedom is In Stock (I like articulation and some gimmicks)
If you care about articulation, then it's the freedom 2.0. If inner frames are your thing than the gelgoog is better. The freedom has those rail guns and wings but the gelgoog has moving pistons and mono-eye

It is my least favorite MG on the shelf but I loved the G gundam series. The MG Master Gundam was released a few months later after the MG God Gundam and Im a whole lot happier with the thing even though it can't do the master cloak form. It may be a disappointment to me but that's just my opinion and of course you guys probably have more love for it and I still have some love for it, just not much haha. Also, if Bandai does release a 2.0 of it, the step up from the 1.0 can be a kit killing difference.

I think there's still a reason to buy the Freedom 1.0 for SOME people. Lemme explain. The Freedom 1.0, in terms of design and complexity, looks more like the Freedom from the anime. The 2.0 on the other hand, looks more like if Hajime Katoki redesigned the Freedom, due to the sharper look, the overabundance of panel lines and the much less accurate proportions. And Ver. Ka kits may or may not be everyone's taste.
Dude, YES! I would buy a God gundam 2.0 Master Grade with this tech in a HEARTBEAT! Loved the show ('cause it's funny) and really loved the idea of the God gundam.
This kit is good and all with one major flaw in the hip joint.. i didnt even put any heavy pressure on the hip and that thing snapped off when i tried to pose it.so becareful when your posing the hip section
The extended cannon is kinda neat, in that I like it more than some of the additions Bandai has put into master grades that were not in the source material, like the exposed psycho frame for the Nu Gundam. That said, like you, I don't think I'd display it that way, with the Baleena cannons opened up. I'd say the old one was still worth getting if you liked the lineart look, but come to think of it, you might just be better off getting the Revive one if you want the simpler look

This looks cool and I hope we get a justice from this but I honestly wish the wings wear a little bit longer. They extended everything else but the wings look a little dinky to me. Also don't like that they got rid of square eye hole on the shield and made it triangular.

Oh god yes. I think bandai should revisit at the very least the main protagonists and the main antagonists. And maybe a devil gundam first form kit. One can only hope.
the freedom 2.0 looks miles more detailed and cooler than the 1.0. personally, i'm not a huge fan of the torso on this kit. i like the preportions and the armor detail, but due to the posability gimicks, it has a couple gaps in the armor that really really bug me. however, i really love the way everything else looks on this kit in comparison to the 1.0
if you've done some MG kits you'll be fine, a perfect grade is just a really big really complicated and really detailed master grade, just expect to put in a ton of time on it
update: i made this comment two years ago and i can say, i did receive my kit. just didn't want to leave you guys hanging. it's a great kit. deffinitely should have won KOTY but it's whatevs.
@@prncrcz the pegs for the hips do seem to be a little weak. I think you probably have your biggest possibility for breaking them when you first put them into the waist unit. If you take it carefully, and arent too forceful you should be fine. Mine have not had any issues as of yet

Rest of the year is a sad mess, there are only two more retail release MGs, Thunderbolt Ver Ka and Pscyho Zaku Ver Ka. Thunderbolt is in July and Psycho Zaku is in December.
I use the Tamiya panel line accent color for panel lining, if you can find one I recommend you getting it. I'm sure you'll never go back for those markers anymore.
maybe it will look better if u use light grey panel line on the white and light colored parts and dark gray or black on the dark parts. it stands out too much imo
my only gripe to this kit are the manipulators. I really dislike swap finger manipulators. why didnt they use the emotion manipulators of the origin, idk..
If you shake the wings do they fall apart? Cause the 1.0 review you said the wings were terrible and you would be doing nothing and a part would fall off if I recall correctly
You lined everything on this intensely line heavy kit...except the white part on the lower back!?! Its like eating all the sides and not touching the main dish.
So, I have to know, how much of a pain in the ass is it to deal with the wings? The one thing keeping me from buying this set is that it looks like positioning those wing pieces would be an absolute nightmare.

This is my most favorite Gundam of all time, ever since.
When ever I hear that there are no polycaps it makes me nervous and makes me wonder how well kit is going to last with plastic rubbing on plastic.
He can actually stand. The tighness on the ankles helps out a lot my freedom could stand with his wings faved on the back!

Unless the upcoming Full Armor Gundam Thunderbolt Ver.Ka has something up its sleeve, this will most likely be the 2016 MG Kit of the Year.
It has removable armor and fully poseable grabby arms.
GP03S has poseable grabby arms, but Jabman has called it the worst MG kit.

The chest cannons do not go in easily out of the box.

How did you get the panel lining so perfect? I use an illustration marker and just started using black-wash.
grab a real touch gundam marker, you'll be shocked how well it works

ive heard this 2.0 ver has breaking hip problems...how are yours?

most of the time no, but on occasion yes, there are certain parts of the frame that show through so it can look really nice
