It’s expensive but while worth the price! You’ll see this synth on many musicians racks who play live. Fantastic keybed, incredibly easy to program No menu diving.the effects are great also
Ahhhhhh ça fait plaisir une bonne vidéo sans bla bla !! Merci !! C'est vrai que ça sonne trop bien pour faire de la progressive techno. Ça donne vraiment envie de le tester.
I have not heard the Super 8, but it s much more expensive and can't load samples. The quality of the Nord samples or the possibility to make your own (video coming soon) are something that sets the Wave 2 apart and makes it the winner IMO.
I missed a superb deal on one , but room was my issue , question , for an all arounder : Iridium or this ? (great deal actually on the iridium core , wondering if it's not the time to jump or go something more playground roiented like a digitone II ) Any of your input is welcome , by the way disovered your channel , exellent !!
Thanks happy you re liking the channel. For an all rounder I would choose this. The sample quality and preset management are some of the best I have come across and for getting a huge variety of inspiring sounds fast, the Wave 2 is hard to beat.
I had a virus C way back in the day. Amazing synth especially considering the time i came from, but I wasn't so good at sound design back then and got a bit tired of the presets...
I love the Iridium for it s Depth, Sequencer and Keybed but for getting inspiration going fast the Wave 2 is amazing. In an ideal world these two complement each other perfectly.

I have one and I love it. Well done Erik. What do you think, Nord Wave 2 or Waldorf Iridium?
