- Mercedes, who said her sad farewell to Art, lies on bed and cries. Art comes to office of father José. Father José thinks, that Art came to do confession, but he is wrong. Art came to ask, or almost to order father José, to to use all his influence in order to help Mercedes. Father José has to convince people from Caňada Seca, that everything inappropriate, what seemed to be done by Mercedes, is Art's fault. Father José should also reintegrate Mercedes in church society, from where she had been fired. Nina, who spots Art leaving, wants to talk him for a last time. Marcia asks Fernando, how long will his holiday, or better said, second honeymoon, be. Fernando doesn't know. In the middle of the conversation, Leopoldo appears in Fernando's office and acts like a boss and wants more power. When Marcia goes to her office, Fernando regulates Leopoldo's inappropriate behaviour. Leopoldo has to deserve his power, he can't gain it just because he is brother-in-law. Art gives Nina his final lesson, what does it mean to be successful in anything, what Nina wants. Nina can't just talk, Nina has to think, analyze and do something for become what she wants. Her move to Buenos Aires or any city she wants, can't be done by sleeping with man, who came from bigger city in Caňada Seca. More thinking, controlling her sensuality would help. As last thing, Art gives Nina his address from Buenos Aires. Lorenzo calls in Caňada Seca. Firstly, he talks to Carlotta, but shortly after, he tells Luisa, he has been promoted as new majordomo, and Luisa could return to Salinas' residence and work here. Fernando tells Emilio, where Sestriere is located and how wonderful his holiday will be. Emilio doesn't pay attention to him, but he tells Fernando, that Leopoldo could be, or is real threat to Salinas' consortium. Leopoldo comes to Celeste's flat and tells her, that he wants to end his life of cheater in terms of life and job. Celeste reproaches him, that he wants to get rid of her. Leopoldo wants to live in peace as proper husband. Celeste starts him kissing, which affects his determination. Lorenzo accommodates himself at his new role as majordomo. Teresa asks Lorenzo, if he plans any major changes. He tells her, he doesn't. Just small changes, if any. Teresa asks, if Manuela returned. Lorenzo tells her, she is still away. Bernarda comes into Isabel's bedroom and Isabel tells Bernarda, that when she is no longer majordomo, she can't control movement of persons in the house. When Bernarda plans, how she will return with Isabel as her mother to Salinas' residence after Isabel's face is reconstructed, Isabel sneers at her. When Bernarda leaves from Isabel's bedroom, Fernando spots that and orders Bernarda to give him the key. Bernarda can't prevent Fernando from opening Isabel's bedroom. Isabel is hidden near the wall, behind the door. So Bernarda's task is to prevent Fernando from entering Isabel's bedroom. Bernarda asks, whimpers for few days more to stay. Bernarda explains, that everything, she has, is intact Isabel's bedroom. Bernarda succeeds in preventing Fernando to enter the bedroom. Fernando grants Bernarda few days more, but she has to leave before he will return with Manuela from Sestriere. Bernarda is returned key of Isabel's bedroom as well. Teresa, who is in the bedroom, argues with Leopoldo, who comes at very late night. Teresa doesn't understand, why Leopoldo behaves as perfect husband for few days and then he disappears and spends time with his lover or lovers. Manuela tries her new nightdress. Fernando is surprised and declares all his feelings for Manuela. Manuela also tells about her feelings towards Fernando. The love between these two seems to be very strong. Art comes into Dorothy's flat and asks her, if he can stay for a while. Dorothy agrees. Bernarda enters Isabel's bedroom and talks with her about the upcoming events. Manuela and Fernando will move to Sestriere and the residence will be avaiable for them. Isabel and Bernarda also talk about being mother and this part of the talk doesn't end well or in any conclusion. Bernarda warns Isabel, that despite Fernando and Manuela are away, Isabel still will have to hide.
