The RTX 3050 should never have existed. A RX 6600 better at much lower cost. 3050 good paper weight tho. 3060 too expensive for it performance level. 3060 initial MSRP should have been its max price. 2060 revival only was to alleviate the card shortage during pandemic and coin mining and under normal circumstances wouldn’t have been dug up from grave. Really should have been left buried. Ideally the 3060 should have been the bottom tier RTX card at a much lower price point.
Yeah Nvidia don't do mistakes but with rtx 3050, they did a big one!
RX 6600 / XT are the best bang for buck for 1080p gaming. As well as the rx 6700xt/3060ti for 1440p gaming

Can anyone explain why the RTX 3050 is so slow? It looks like what an RTX 2050 should have been. Similar to the RX 6500 XT, which is slower than the RX 5500 XT.
I imagine it will be for an RTX 3050 Ti... however, they've missed the boat on that (should have been released by now if it were up to me.) Also, the 3060 is too slow for me as well. IMO the 3060 should cost what the 3050 does.
Low TMUs, not many ROPs, tight 128-bit bus making for a low memory bandwidth, not much more Cuda cores than in 2060, runs at essentially the same core clock. That is why. It's an xx50 class card, don't expect any sort of elite uncompromising 1080p experience from it. All and any RTX cards below 2080S/3060Ti are inherently dumb, because they don't have the power to run 1440p yet even at 1080 their RT and Dlss features are pretty much useless because the Fps is low enough as is, and Dlss doesn't look all that great at FHD even in Quality. At that point just get a 6650XT which is faster than these 3, has good value, and doesn't advertise features only really useful at resolutions higher than it can handle. It even has RT accelerators so you could still enable RT in games where it's not demanding, such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Battlefield V, the Fps would still be way past 60 at all times.
@@DanielOfRussia what's the point of buying card specifically to play on maximum settings? You can decrease some settings and get literally the same picture but with more fps. And how is that RTX isn't playable for 1440p? All games I played was 2k and even not having 1440p monitor (i just turned on DSR) I have pretty comfortable gameplay: 100+ (and even more probably) FPS in WarThunder on high or ultra settings - almost without differences - with DLSS quality. Even RDR 2 in 45-50 FPS, which is comfortable, in 2k with high-ultra preset, not hub-optimized, which can give me extra frames. Metro, Warzone and all this stuff if very comfortable - Warzone was about 75-90 fps in 2k with dlss i guess. And that with not the best CPU

Just now i made a pc 🕹 with Ryzen 5 5600x & Sapphire Nitro Radeon RX 6700 XT 12gb.
My Doubt is, What monitor for ultrawide is better with my pc one with 2560x1080p vs 3440 x 1440?. Mainly i wait to get a monitor with good quality for play in ultra graphics, with good fps & to made live stream.
The games that i play more are : Cyberpunk 2077, Total War franchise mainly now Warhammer III, Genshin Impact &
Conqueror´s Blade. Personally iam interesed in this monitors:
MSI - ultrawide Optix MAG301RF & AOC CU34G2X .

the point it's to benchmark the gpu not the dlss ^^ if you put dlss on you lose in interest of benchmark ;)
Not every single game supports dlss, plus this comparison is to compare the pure power of these cards.

Upgraded my 3050 to 3080 recently. I still think 3050 is better value than 6600-6650 xt. Can run 1620p(Dldsr) in most games.
The real power of the 3050 is much weaker than the 6600, which is noticeably cheaper in most places and continues to fall with the price. On 6600 and all rx you can also create custom resolutions, it's not that nvidia can only do that.
@@werwito6723 seeing how demanding new upcoming games are , I wouldn't even go near the 6600 non xt. I'd rather buy a used 2060 super/5700 xt or pay 90 USD more for the xt version. If it's a temporary GPU then 6600 for 250-300$ ain't bad.
Edit: maybe hyper Rx might save it but we'll see.
@@werwito6723 That's the thing with AMD. AMD doesn't need the gimmicks to squeeze extra performance . Their GPUS literally kicks any Nvidia's card in the midrange category in terms of raw performance. I am hoping they vastly improve on RT performance over the years!
