The intoxicating dazzle and energy running and powering the sinews of youth appears to be in conversation with the majesty of The Supreme Creator. The carelessness of an uncaring youth is getting reflected in the mesmerising lines sung so gracefully by Madam Mallika Pukhraj. The world may wait for youth now in its prime, is so deeply engrossed with the subtleties and nuances of a beautiful and intoxicating life. It does not need to remember the solemn pledge of 'Alastt' made by its soul before its Creator in 'aalam e amr'. It will fiddle with the benevolence of destiny and Divinity, rather find solace in the 'lantarani' or recklessness which needs to be guarded against when in parlance with the majestic grandeur of holy Almighty. The core message conveyed is that youth, being a fountain of energy and vitality needs to be tapped, counselled and guided during the course of this life's journey. A thought provoking poetry by Hafeez Jalandhari depicting a conversation between youth and divinity .(Md. Israil Arabi)

I have a cassette of this song. My lovely Pakistani friends 36 years ago when I used to live in Saudi Arabia. Also I had returned from vacation after seeing ek duje keliye by paying 110 rs in black. I also carried a VHS tape of the movie. 5_ 6 Pakistani friends came home and we watched the movie. They enjoyed and told me politely that they saw the movie already, about 5 days earlier but enjoyed it again. I heard this song today again and recalled my memory.🙂

Abhi to Mai jawan hoon.maza aagaya .is gaane Ko sunkar Mai humesha jawan rahonga.
Unforgettable evergreen nazm
Poetry even in simplistic form can convey so much" yeh hans gaya, woh ro gaya yeh ishq ki khaniya ....
Simply Mesmerizing!!!
wah wah,kya baat hai,laajawab
A lyrical masterpiece of Hafeez Jalandari in simple urdu and Malika Pukhraj does full justice, ranks among the best of all times.
