Maza aa gaya Sir jee ! I hv to watch 3-4 times more to get full depth of this knowledge packed episode. Thank you very much Sir once again...bahut bahut aabhar and Sadhuvaad .
Beautiful episode as always. The temples had a bit of very very faint resemblance to khajuraho because of their intricate stone carvings but not on a similar scale. Pity that most places aren't cared by our Arts & Antiquities department nor are the local folk bothered about them. Truly enjoyed it.
Wonderful episode, sir! I had read about these temples in your book Riders on the Wind but great to see the pictures. Exquisite work indeed! Utter pleasure! Is there a way one can please get these pictures from you, sir? I'd love to get some printed and framed.
Thank you very much, sir. You can indeed get these images from me. they are gratis. Send me your email address and I'll email a sampling for you to select.
I believe Toraman and Mihiirakul or Mihiragula are corruptions of Tora Aman and Mehr Gul. The latter name is classic Persian meaning Sun Rose (as in flower). I have no idea what Tor means. Aman is guarantee or protection.
@@salmanrashid8880 Mihir in Sanskrit means Sun, Mehrangarh fort in Jodhpur is named after Mihir/Sun, the ruler Rathores are fr the solar clan and the city is colloquialy known as the Sun City(cz of the longest avg sunlight duration for a place in the country)
Sayain sada watan 😊
Khoobsurat and nostalgic
Thank you very much, Attiya.

In Pakistan no one cares for our ancient built heritage. that is the sad thing.

That is our grea tragedy, sir.
I have read about Toramaam but in our books his son was known as Mihiragula or Mihiragula... rather Mehar Gul.. Total barbarians
