Dang you're a great player!
Nice video👍brooklyn brass is a nice snare but expensive. I think the steel versio is a better deal. 2mm thick shell in comparison to 1.1mm thick brass. I think it is the tickest steel shell in that price range. Only bad thing I can think about that snare is the wires. They work but are not the best. I have tried mine with pure sound 30 and canopus vintage dry and it sounds awesome.
I have the Dw brass nickel over brass to me these sound similar but love the demo!
more expensive yours, right?
The Dw one is 579 I believe, I bought mine for 460 open box. I’ve seen this same snare open box 440$
I always look forward to you doing these. Can you do the 4160? I have one and want to hear what you get out of it 😂
I'd love to do a video of the 4160. A true classic! I'll talk to the powers that be and get that ball a-rollin
That would be so awesome! Hope you’re able to! Great playing on all your videos btw. Funny too that I notice youre so picky with wire tension. I’m the same way! I cannot stop messing with it when I play.
@@gentrybellus3469 it's also to show how different drums react at different wire tensions. That, and to avoid the inevitable "this guy only plays his wires loose/choked" comments haha
Love the Low and the Hightuning. How du you tune? by ear or tunebot?
Tunings are done by ear. Usually it's about a quarter turn between each tuning.
Ok, thx for answering! Great chanel! i love it! :D@@2112percussion_
