What was hilarious to me is that Cynthia healed their Pokemon before they fought Giritina and Lani screaming "NECROMANCY!" I was on the floor, laughing so hard I could barely breathe.
People often rag on this series, and understandably so as they became too cautious when playing and even focused too hard on Raisin but... Wouldn't you? Especially by how utterly bloodthirsty this game was by comparison to the rest. This has to be the Nuzlocke with THE most deaths there's ever been.
I've Nuzlocked Platinum like four or five times by now and while it's very bloodthirsty, a significant portion of the deaths in this run were just because they never bothered to keep their team at a good level. It's a hard game to Nuzlocke, but if you play dumb you're going to get wrecked, and they played dumb.
Raisin: Sigh. Damn the Kadabra that killed Traktorr and Dager. Damn the Skuntank that killed Punchinilu, Cleo and Gaks. Damn the Geodude that killed The Gibler. Damn the Bronzor that killed Jordan. Damn the Togekiss that killed Poppi Roxx. And the Magmortar that killed Vaporeon and Gongido. And the Dialga that killed Tank. Sigh. Damn it all. At least we can say Veni, Vidi, Vici. Still, I wish Scientist Travon, Galactic Commander Jupiter, Hiker Justin, Ruin Maniac Karl, Galactic Commander Saturn, Galactic Boss Cyrus, Leader Volkner, Rival Drokuma, Elite Four Bertha, Champion Cynthia, Elite Four Flint and Dialga weren't such assholes. Sigh. At least we won, though. But at what cost? Also, critical hits and damage variables suck and can go fuck themselves up the ass with a thousand foot pole. Yeah, you heard me. A thousand. I'm that mad. Also, damn Ryfuba's lack of preparation and insight for what lay ahead. For example, had we just had one more Super Potion, Cleo and Gaks wouldn't have died to that damn Skuntank. And had we switched out, The Gibler and Jordan wouldn't have died in their respective battles. Damn our lack of grinding aside from me, too. Could also have saved Gaks. Could have saved more, like Pops. If Pops had just had one more level, he'd have lived. He'd been able to finish Snorlax off with Rollout. Though, thankfully, Narkama survived to Calm Mind the fuck out of Lucian. And Cynthia post-Poppi. And the Togekiss was definitely pretending to be Ryu. Y'all can rest easy now. Traktorr the Staravia. Dager the Bidoof. Punchinilu the Machop. Cleo the Luxio. Gaks the Shellos. The Gibler the Gible. Jordan the Buneary. Fulton the Togekiss. Biburial the Bibarel. Sawl the Sneasel. Poop the Swinub. Digopotums the Hippopotas. Serpentera the Onix. Pops the Lickilicky. Mr.Presdnt the Abomasnow. Ripley the Gliscor. Poppi Roxx the Golem. Vaporeon the Jolteon. Gongido the Bronzor. 20 deaths in the whole Nuzlocke. 17 up until beating the League. Damn. Also, what's the music at the end called? I'm certain it's from the anime, but I don't know what it's called. Also didn't watch the GAIDEN, didn't know they made one, probably because it's on their other channel, so I was surprised they lost Vaporeon, Gongido and Tank. Well, at least they weren't important characters that got a lot of screen time. I'm glad Kirxia survived through it all. Scyther is pretty tough for a pre-evolution. Had Eviolite existed in this gen, it would have been even better than Scizor. Maybe. I'm also glad Ping got to live and take a vacation. I love Crobat, I think it's my new favorite Poison type. Previously it was Salazzle, mostly for the design and unique typing, as well as evolution method and rarity, but dammit, Crobat is a bulky beast! Mine took an Ice Punch and ThunderPunch from two separate Hitmonchan like they were nothing, AND he survived on 4 HP from a Counter by a Hitmontop that survived a Pluck with what must also have been 4 HP or 10 HP. If it's not STAB, Crobat can handle super effective hits no problem. It's amazing!
Uuuugh... That Sneasel one actually hurt my brain to watch. Never mind that it probably wouldn't have survived and that Honchkrow is MUCH better physically than specially,; there's a reason next to nobody uses Avalanche on anything.

Raisin: Uh... That thing does not have Aftermath. I saw a Nuzlocke offscreen at some point where a Monferno barely survived the Skuntank. Then the Monferno used Mach Punch. Since it (the Monferno) did not die to Aftermath, that means it (the Skuntank) has Stench, not Aftermath.
The only reason i see for doing that is that in some of the releases it "spoils" which pokemon dies next but still it doesn't make much sense doing as you said because the "deaths" must have an order. So either I show it one after another or not at all.

I find it funny people say that they shouldn't have died like that or this. Yet people scream for blood or they are over leveled or they are doing this wrong. This is a nuzlocke and it is difficult to overcome it and having to train others and having to over think on things and trying to figure out how to beat this.
Man after watching this I loveeeee how they refused to have a full usable team for most of their fights. They almost always had a pokemon who had no business being in a major fight

At around 4:23, when "Seismic Toss" was said, for some reason, for a split second, I actually thought he'd said "Size McToss." I am being completely serious.
So many of these are them way overthinking the problem, Half the team died against Skunktank becasue they kept trying to heal instead of just finishing the damn thing off, Gibler died becasue they were worried about self destruct, swtich in Raisin and have it bubblebeam the thing down in one hit. Poop died becasue they were worried about Raichu knowing a move it hasnt had since Gen 1. Jordan died i guess for the lolz, yeah this whole run seemed like a trainwreck
God, how different would the nuzlocke be if they prepared a bit more for the Eterna building? Dager would've been the ultimate sacrificial lamb for Giratina, Cleo could've ran Bite on Fantina, Punchinilu could've done decently in the mid-game, and Gaks could've completely replaced Poppi AND Ripley.

They realised, they just didn't want to take a risk.

I find it funny people say that they shouldn't have died like that or this. Yet people scream for blood or they are over leveled or they are doing this wrong. This is a nuzlocke and it is difficult to overcome it and having to train others and having to over think on things and trying to figure out how to beat this.

So many of these are them way overthinking the problem, Half the team died against Skunktank becasue they kept trying to heal instead of just finishing the damn thing off, Gibler died becasue they were worried about self destruct, swtich in Raisin and have it bubblebeam the thing down in one hit. Poop died becasue they were worried about Raichu knowing a move it hasnt had since Gen 1. Jordan died i guess for the lolz, yeah this whole run seemed like a trainwreck

God, how different would the nuzlocke be if they prepared a bit more for the Eterna building? Dager would've been the ultimate sacrificial lamb for Giratina, Cleo could've ran Bite on Fantina, Punchinilu could've done decently in the mid-game, and Gaks could've completely replaced Poppi AND Ripley.
