Note: When installing it in the same configuration as video you need to swap the brown/white wires and also the green and blue wires on the actuators. Otherwise the door lock/unlock will be swapped
ahh mine seamed to be ok unless i accidently swapped them routing them through the car

Looks quite handy, any ideas on the immobiliser chip in the key?
i had a word with my key guy and he said there is a space inside the new key where you can put any chip, just use a little glue to stop it rattling about

ahh thank you i appreciate it, i used the four door kit but just left out the fourth actuator
Could you please reclarify how you connected the brown wires to the headlight button? The top right one belongs to the hazard lights and the one below is the common pin for up+down. I tried connecting them anyway and blown a fuse
as soon as i take my tombstone out again ill do a little update video, but on the pop up button not the hazard button use the two wires on the right hand side (right top and right middle)

run a wire to the hazard switch instead of what i done
Do I need a relay for the boot? I have been working on my boot to make it work, tried several different relay, but cant get that sorted.
no its not necessary
@@Project380 to make my keyless entry to work I added a relay, so now my boot and doors open with the press off different buttons on the remote
I have an immobilizer in my car. can I do something to put it in the new key?

Is there any risk of parasitic draw that will result in slowly draining the battery by having it directly attached to the battery instead of splicing it to an always on fuse box location, like the radio?
i can see your concerns but ive had this installed this way for months with no downsides, i will update you if i do have issues
There can be parasitic drain, but theres no difference in it being wired up to the battery, or through a fuse box. Its still the same circuit, just connected in a different place
@@Project380 Have you found a problem with this kit after a year? I'm finding most people's batteries are draining quickly with these kits installed.
Hey! I have a question about the boot release. Did you just use the motor for the door just wired to the trunk wiring? Cause on the website they are selling boot release separately.
yes i did as some of the boot release require 5 volt but i obviously needed to run 12 volt, it works flawlessly though
@@Project380 How did you run it to just open boot and not doors and the boot all at once?

@@Project380I would like to know as well. The link provided shows a bmw key. Did you email them to get the blade changed to a Mazda blade to be cut into a key??
