Like on one hand he might think that this is only a dream and he’ll be gone before this dream can become a reality, but on the other…maybe he has a little bit of hope. That maybe this dream will become reality and he’ll get through this part of his life and be able to spend more time with her, and truly take care of her like he wants/needs to.
