My heart broke when I thought we were losing you on socials. And yes, your hair is absolutely GORGEOUS beyond words. It look great no matter how you style it. I absolutely adore when you do full short curls. Like the day you ran into miss Rachel & had the beanie on. I’m a 3C curl & I envy your coif to the moon & beyond, girlfriend. wait the painting was so cute! i love it so much! it's okay if not all the paintings turn out like that one. art is art. and sometimes the beauty of the piece is clear in the final product, and sometimes the beauty of the piece was the experience and memory of making it (just like a full roll of lens cap photos)
These videos make my day and I relate to you SO much. Also the way you spun the meaning of your paint-and-sip painting (✨Lens Cap✨) was inspirational and it ended on a really beautiful message that kind of made me emotional 🥹 Also also your orange painting turned out GREAT!!!
That painting came out beautiful! Also, I need to try that chipotle/McDonalds fry creation because it sounds and looks amazing!!! I recently had a salad that came with buffalo chicken and French fries on top….mmm chefs kiss!!
Painted with you today 🌸 Thank you for posting I love your oranges!!!! It’ll fit perfectly in Bethany’s kitchen! 🎉 I was complimenting us both (oh your painting looks so good! So does mine yay! XD)
Also my big tip for enjoying painting is paint whatever you want, whatever your brain gets the happy from I’m on a neopets kick but I had a pepper era, and a frog era as well and had so much fun with it I’m liking flowers now too since I’m doing ones I think are cool
FYI, every Wednesday at 11 am our area of Omaha has a tornado siren (during “the season”), and yeah, I always wonder what would happen if it was the real deal. We’d all be ignoring it, and the news the next day would report how the majority of our county was wiped out. PS I love the idea of hanging “Lens Cap” with a museum label.
I nearly peed lauging at "Looking Inward" and thought you should have stuck with that but then you made up the story to go with "Lens Cap" and it's so sweet! I can totally imagine having a framed photo of a lens cap on my living room wall because I forgot to take it off the entire vacation, but then still happilly remembering that vacation every time I looked at the photo. I hope you DO hang the painting on your wall with a little title card under it.
damn you're a true storyteller! I was captivated hearing that lens cap story honestly, it convinced me about the painting - I would've totally bought it after that haha
I was doing art with my grandkids… I wasn’t happy with mine. So my granddaughter said MEMA it’s ART anything you make is beautiful, that’s why it’s called art! ❤💜
I used to work at a grocery store (in the pharmacy, but there was definitely a rule to check the bottom of the carts for anyone checking people out). The way that works is that either there should be a courtesy clerk (bagger) who offers to lift it to be scanned or who notifies the cashier. The cashier can also use mirrors that are strategically placed to see the bottom of the cart, and if there are items there, they have a handheld scanner they can reach or take around to scan the items. They don’t have to (and shouldn’t) make it a confrontation. You’re right, they don’t get paid enough to be trying to stop shoplifters.
I love these videos! Your painting looks like a vintage orange label! I grew up in a town in california famous for their oranges (Exeter, Ca) and they had murals of vintage labels and that painting would be right at home ❤
Thank you so much!!! Omg I went to Orange Coast College in Southern California and literally studied across the street from citrus trees and would eat them when I had no money for groceries 😂 I’d wait for them to hang over the fence and then pick one so I didn’t feel as bad taking them hahaha
@elyse_myers I think that is a quintessential california experience. Like now I live in Oklahoma and I have to buy them in the grocery store instead of going outside to a tree 😭
Gotta be honest, never thought about putting chipotle on mcdonalds fries but now I've got a plan for today 😂 maybe I'll record a reaction video 😂 ps loving your podcast and your new platform with longform content. Love that for you!❤🎉

You are killing it with this long form content! They are so good 😊
It WAS a productive day! You learn something new about yourself by completing that painting in the manner that you did. That is extremely important and don't forget that when you grow that is valuable because you are valuable!❤
Ok but squint and all the friends’ paintings look like a cosmic shark about to take a bite out of something!
Hurt people, hurt people. You have a beautiful soul Elyse and deserve all the happiness in the world! Happy to see you happy 😊
Hanging out, painting and sharing stories with you is a treat. Can’t wait for more cookies 🍪❤️
Omg thank you. Every time I see images of people’s sip and wine experience they have perfect paintings. I’ve never done it but I’m pretty confident that would not be my result
You make laugh and just feel like everything is gonna be alright. I think you are a phenomenal human being.
Lol! When you said your mouth was watering putting that Chipotle on the fries, I realized mine totally was, too. This is a combination I now must have. You're just as magical as ever.
Also, I'm so impressed with your painting.
Omg what can’t she do?! I am so obsessed w her hair, she can pull off so many styles!❤❤
Oh my gosh thank you so much this is amazing?? 🥹♥️ I don’t get a lot of time to do blow dry my hair in this season of my life so when I get to do it, it feels really special!
@@elyse_myers oh geez u just made me SO happy! I was super bummed this afternoon thinking u wouldn’t see my comment. I was having a stressful evening & I got this notification, I lit up immediately! ❤️❤️ you are so special to this world, Elyse- you have GOT to know that we admire your strength, honesty, tenacity & just general ability to keep pushing no matter the cost! You stay strong & keep “surviving purely out of spite”. The world needs more Elyse Myers’ in it. If we could clone your kindness & hand it out this would be so much more gentle & empathetic. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ never give up! Jonas & the boys are lucky to have you, as are we in the small way you have allowed us into to your world. I wish health & happiness to your family always. Sincerely your true fan, Randi Dukes of Georgia🍑
listening while editing photos!!! love your authenticity and realness elyse thank you!!
I love this!!! I edited about 3 rolls of film worth of photos and watched lots of Emma chamberlain in the background so we basically had the same day!!
I really like this painting, seriously. I love the graphic nature to it and the color choices plus the red outline. I would totally hang that up in my kitchen.
I love the authenticity of yoooou. It’s so good. You are wonderful and colorful and delightfully human with all the human emotion ❤ thank you Elise!
Pov I was crying because I got denied from * another * legal internship and then you posted and I was so happy to watch you paint oranges
I’m so sorry, friend! I’m grateful this video was a little virtual hug today!
I would absolutely LOVE to have that 70s colors vibe of oranges hanging in my kitchen!! You should be so proud of yourself, woman…I think you killed it! 😊🧡
Same!!
Your shirt is my vibe today lol. I’m really struggling right now, but gosh darn it, I won’t let the world beat me! I love the painting, it definitely would be right at home in my 60’s kitchen. ❤
You got this!!
I'm so happy you're doing more of these, or i guess doing these more consistently?? I love this content. Actually, I'm not sure there's a piece of content you've ever made that I didn't love😂 but I am still loving these not-completely-curated-and-planned vids. Your coffee talks were always so fun, but it's nice getting a more rounded view of you and it's so quietly comforting and relatable seeing you struggle with things during the day *AND* watching you get wins over your anxiety and stress. Thank you for deciding to open yourself to the internet years ago 🫶🏻
Thanks for showing the beauty in Kansas and not shitting on it like most people do ❤❤
Kansas is beautiful and the land has beautiful energy
As a Missourian, I never capitalize kansas because it's neither a proper place nor a proper name. 😂
@@MasterRahl221 typical Missouri education right there.. lol
Oh god I love Kansas so much! It’s where I go when I need to get out of Omaha but don’t know where to go. It’s like my home away from home and has such a special place in my heart!
@@MasterRahl221you’re missing out - both Missouri and Kansas are really special and have so much to offer!
This happened to me and my friends! And my friend just started painting fire all over it 😂😂😂 artistically lit hers on fire when it wasn't working out
you are literally a shining light of joy in this dark world and i would die for you you precious creature UGH
her food vibes give me life!!!! That's how i am with food. ❤❤❤❤❤
These vlogs make me so happy. I feel like someone understands my crippling anxiety 😊
“I wonder what version of me they have in their head.” Truer words never spoken my friend.
I failed terribly at a paint night, the instructor said “ It shows a semblance of resignation “ Such an interesting perspective 😂
You are a gem! Thanks for taking us on your adventure. Your videos are more validating than you'll ever know..
I love your orange painting! You should do more! I'm an art teacher and I love your thought process.
Perhaps a better idea than offering food. Tip the driver what those extra items would have cost. That's totally legit and they will be thrilled. I have done that when l order just a coffee because l want a totally bougie one. Your painting is great. We now have the fruit to go with the nuts. You're fabulous, don't ever change. Well, just the usual versions are what makes you you. As someone who has a version for every occasion, l salute you!
Well done, you
I always tip super well! I just also had this dream of like sharing a little tasty treat with the driver but it never usually works out hahaha
Nice job on the painting ! I even like the lens cap painting and story . Loved your crumbl review too . Keep them coming 😂❤🎉
EVERYONE NEEDS & DESERVES AN "ELYSE" IN THEIR LIFE!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Honestly, your videos make me want to make videos because I absolutely love how you are so sincerely and genuinely you. I get self conscious about how much I talk and how I never *really* know how my stories are going to end. I feel like we have similar vibes and I enjoy your content so much! You make me feel like being myself is worth sharing with others because I get so much joy out of what you share.☺️
I love your long form content! Thank you for being you and sharing it!
I am so glad you kept that painting... I would have been crushed to hear that story and not see the evidence 😂 I love it so much!
I absolutely LOVE your videos! I am never disappointed in the content whether it's just an everyday come do this with me or an update on your family and life or if it's storytime...point is lol...your realness, (I believe that is a word) humility, absolutely hilarious, quirky, gorgeous down to earth personality, self, and videos have helped me in so many more ways than I would have thought. I am so thankful to you for sharing your amazingly talented self with all of us as you bring so much more joy and happiness than you will ever know ❤️ 😂 Thank you for being you!
The excitement I felt when I understood your “downhill, the bad kind” reference surprised me. I’m a new subscriber so it’s fun to feel like I’m part of the crew. Haha
GIRL I love the painting!! 🍊 I’d totally put it on the wall!! It’s bright and HAPPY!!!
wait the painting was so cute! i love it so much! it's okay if not all the paintings turn out like that one. art is art. and sometimes the beauty of the piece is clear in the final product, and sometimes the beauty of the piece was the experience and memory of making it (just like a full roll of lens cap photos)
The painting is beautiful but more importantly your heart is even more beautiful! ❤️
These videos make my day and I relate to you SO much. Also the way you spun the meaning of your paint-and-sip painting (✨Lens Cap✨) was inspirational and it ended on a really beautiful message that kind of made me emotional 🥹
Also also your orange painting turned out GREAT!!!
XD)
Also my big tip for enjoying painting is paint whatever you want, whatever your brain gets the happy from
I’m on a neopets kick but I had a pepper era, and a frog era as well and had so much fun with it I’m liking flowers now too since I’m doing ones I think are cool
I love this advice so much!! Also, I’m glad we got to paint together!!
This long form content brings me so much joy. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
Clearly, that painting is your interruption of the solar eclipse the other day.
Your painting is amazing! 😊❤
I just got here, a 15+ minute story time and painting with Elyse? HELL YES! 😂
P.S. everything about this video just worked for my ADHD brain.
And I eat my Chipotle bowl with their chips. That also slaps.
I really like your painting of oranges. It’s pleasing to the eye and soul, so cheerful.
