"How could you do this to me? I've been nothing but nice to you, coleslaw!"
This line sounds like it came straight out of some classic spaghetti western lol
Haha
Rex, never stop calling Diamond Jim "Coleslaw," it's great!
When he took all of the tens, I knew what was going to happen, it's just math at that point. Neat trick.
3:46 - The moment I realized how Rex was completely screwed.
The only hand that could be DJT's at this point was a Royal Flush, and with all the 10s out of the equation that was impossible.
"The Jack version" - Rex Williams, 2019
Yeah, nice video as always! You never disappoint us man
That is a good one. Thanks for the videos.
This is seriously one of my favorite scams. It's sooo sneaky and nobody ever sees it coming.
This has been done on scam school before. The remake culture has finally got to you Brian.
Loved it
I first read this one in the late, great Harry Anderson's book _Games You Can't Lose_ .
Finally got the A+--Way to go!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
So good.
I love that DJTs new nickname is coleslaw!
Late to the party. Being a poker player I got it quick but I love it. However I never saw it before...thanks again Scam school. One needs to have a 5 or a 10 in order to make a straight. Ergo the Ace high Straight Flush (Royal) is dead. Really cool. I will use this on some of my poker pals.
I was thinking about this one and I realized that you could totally do this against up to three marks at once. Even if you're the last of the group to pick first, when you do pick first everyone else is screwed. If you used the three first hands to demonstrate that it's always a split pot, then get some exorbitant bets because everyone thinks they're just playing with monopoly money, when it comes your turn you can destroy them all. Walk away with three times the win.
He said it’s an A+ from a salty soul,
nice outro music
So what was that other bit with the thumbs? Is there video of it? I primarily ask because it sounds like "Don't get Brody!" which is my name.
Check out that SXSW podcast! ua-cam.com/video/zGuojcnbU3g/v-deo.html
Woohoooo
jack black lookin good after that weight loss!
I love how easy and how bullshit that is lmao
Ok...now I am shocked! Before this video I watched an ad for Penn and Teller Masterclass. *TELLER WAS TALKING!!!*
Coleslaw on the ball
How drunk or high is he?
right...?
I didn't like that, ruined the scam
Is it possible to use same card in round 3..?

What if they pick the 4 Kings (or jacks or Queens) and an ace instead of the 4 aces and a random card
The first guy will always be able to get at least a 10-high straight flush, and the best the second person could then do is a 9-high straight flush.
I feel like I saw this before on Scam School?
Drunk high who cares these dudes having a great time with good magic
This is my second time watching this and i just realized Diamond Jim messed up on his quad 10s hand by having a deuce kicked. In 5 card draw, you can only draw 4 cards when you have an ace in your hand, discarding the other 4.
That’s a common house rule, but it’s not an official rule of 5 card draw.
So what do you need in a good plant. It seems like when a magician brings up a person onto the stage that is a plant they have them purposely act awkward or cringy. Is there a certain way you want your assistants to act?
durty
I love that he drew all the tens in the second hand. Sneaky
What about the straight baby? A's to 5?
5 is lower than King
In 5 Card Draw you can only discard 4 cards if you have an Ace.
Then DJT’s first hand would just be the four tens and a nine. Then he’d trade out the three tens that weren’t the same suit as the nine and get the jack queen and king of that suit
@@charliepalmer484 Don't call it 5 Card Draw and say things like "the rules of 5 card draw" and "you can't put back 5 cards but I will let you" if you're not going to follow the ace rule for yourself, say something like you can even trade out cards we want.
That’s a common house rule, but it’s not an official rule of 5 card draw
@@mattsheets Quote "Each player is dealt five cards, then a round of betting follows. Then each player may discard up to 3 cards (4 if your last card is an ace or wild card, in some circles) and get back (from the deck) as many cards as he/she discarded." i.e. 3 cards is the rule 4 cards are the exception and no place can I find 5.
@@Handzoffire what are you quoting from?
Just one example:

Am I missing something? Why couldn't he just discard all but the AC and pull a royal flush to win?
The 10s are discarded
No 10's left to select.
This trick is hard to follow when your (you're) drunk... And i have mastered riffle stacking... As much as you can "master" anything in this art...
I can free drop a whole 8 cards...
Man, am I drunk...
Diamond Jim, you can't discard 4 cards in 5 Card Draw unless the last card is an Ace.
That’s a common house rule, but it’s not an official rule of 5 card draw
Hearts are higher than clubs
Straight flush from A's to 5's, I think its higher than that of 9's to K's straight flush. Just sayin 🤔
No
Their not playing Texas holdem.....
I don't understand this at all. Poker not my thing
Who even plays 5 card draw??
