The Bear Pee Hole joke is by far, the best Dad Joke I've heard in a long time
This joke has been in my dad joke arsenal for at least 10 years! its a classic! Was nice to hear it told in a video.
I dunno, the coleslaw joke is hard to top.
+
always loved that Dad joke. My dad told me that joke back in the 60's!!
One of my friends once said that "The highest form of compliment any pun can receive is being threatened with physical violence."
I love this version of the petals of the rose... Mainly cause I keep focusing on remembering the name "potentate"
"When the polar bear goes in for a pea, you kick him in the ice hole." I'm dead, Diamond Jim Tyler.
Maybe I'm just dumb but I still dont get it after hearing it and now reading it
@@dnerney when he goes to take a pee you kick him in the asshole
@@dnerney When the polar bear goes in for a _pee_ , you kick him in the _asshole_
@@dnerney Pea = Pee
Ice hole = A$$hole XD
I love when Rex calls Diamond Jim "Coleslaw," it just makes me laugh every time!
It’s fun knowing the answers and seeing someone else get aggravated.
Please create "The Rexoning- with Brian Brushwood, Diamond Jim, and Rex Williams" as a series. I want more of these!
Super cool to see Diamond Jim Tyler back. All old hat for any Scam School graduates but fun nonetheless.
The second I close the UA-cam app I'm gonna forget how to do these tricks 😭
I keep a notebook in my day bag, and I often take "coded" notes for these to remind me. Like I doodled a few of the match puzzles, and for this dice one I just drew three dots and wrote "two polar bears" and I drew 3 squares in a stack and wrote 21... that will easily remind me how to do these.
I'm not great with social stuff and my sisters kids love tricks so it helps me out. You can try that, make a cheat sheet with like 20 tricks written on it in a way you'll know. Throw it in your pocket when you head out, and look it over in the bathroom when you get there... I do it occasionally and have actually pulled a few of these off really well!
Jim's books are fantastic! Well worth grabbing all three for both magic and humour! Great Dice tricks here! 👏👏😄👍
I know in my head that not everyone knows that opposite sides of a dice add up to 7, but because I _do_ know it, whenever I see something that relies on it, I can't help but think "oh no one would ever fall for that"

I got the third puzzle @ 4:51. Very Similar to Petals Around The Rose.
As a seasoned DnD player, I got the first one immediately....unfortunately, my friends are all DnD players as well and thus would get it immediately as well.
These videos are great. Now I want the same series, but with Daniel from the Whiskey Tribe.
love you brian keep up the good work!
Ha ha ha ha! At Brian singing "The Touch"!!
I figured out the first two, but the third one got me. I like that one.
I "discovered" the first trick some time ago (I called it "the Moscow dice" because it was inspired by reading "The Moscow Puzzles"). My variation is that you get members of the audience to sum all visible pips. I find it looks more impossible. But it does involve a number of calculations that the audience may not be able to handle without errors...
I know a similar maddening enigma than the bear thing. I don't know if there is a formulation that can work in english because it is one that is formulated in french. It goes as such "Touche ça touche pas mais touche pas ca touche. Qu'est-ce qui touche ?" which litteraly mean "touch doesn't touch but doesn't touch touch. What is touching ?" And then you would procced to say work and tell how many time it touches.
You can just say word or ask for word from the person that you do the enigma for.
The answer is the lips. your lips touch when you enunciate the words and you can count how many time per word. It doesn't really work as well in english since the word "doesn't" doesn't make your lips touch and so the initial question is not working well. Maybe there is a way to find the right vocabulary to make it work in english.
Just like the bear thing people can get stuck for hours on end with it
Instantly got that first one so ingenious 😂
The Rexening sounds like a great movie title, someone get on it
Rex goddamn it get back to the vault!! lmao fun tricks guys
You guys rock.
Sir
This is the best episode ever
I reformulated the firts trick with diffrent size of dice: e.g. 1D6 + 1D8 + 1D12
same rules :)
I’d love to see y’all in person. From San Antonio, but frequently go to Austin. Huge fan
Accidentally read it as,"I'd love to see y'all in prison. From San Antonio, but frequently go to Austin. Huge fan"
Receiving death threats is the mark of a good magician
I watched Brian do the pedals around the rose with his daughter. I got the polar bear one immediately
I love Rex!
In the beginning of the vid I didn't see Diamond Jim look at the top die....was it just edited that way or did he sneak a peek?
Great video, have you done one on the doomsday algorithm used as a magic trick.
DJT’s books really are great. Paid for themselves in free drinks.
That dad joke revoked my breathing privilege
90% sure I knew these because they've been on Scam -School- Nation before.
I picked up on the Petals Around a Rose!
Sadly I'll never be a Potentate, but my wife is!
You can actually combine the first and last puzzle. When people start to figure out the rule of the polarbear puzzle you simply say, "ok, let's go from the north- to the southpole now". Then you call out the bears on the bottom side of the dice, which cannot be seen. Fools them all over again. But be aware, that many people will point out, that there are no polar bears on the south pole :D
I got the polar bears trick first roll using the same mindset you gotta be in for Petals Around the Rose lol
how long was this recording session? so many vids from it!
We filmed 10 of these videos over two days with DJT and this was our last from that series!
Scam Nation thanks for the answer! it’s great content. :)
3:33 -- obscure Transformers animated movie reference lol Gotta love it
@@Arjay82 It was a pretty big song. I think that if you poll the people who have/will watch this video, about 84% wouldn't know that reference.
Ok the Polaris bear thing gave me potentate of the rose vibes fro the book so my theory is that the number of pips around the dot is how many are tishing and the number of corner pips is how many polar bears? Hope I'm right
I keep telling you guys join the discord

3rd trick was easy after watching the Petals Around the Rose
After you teach someone that the sides of a dice = 7, you show them a broken die, that = 5, by rolling it in your fingers as you flip it to show them. Nice sequence.i
love the nickname coleslaw. gonna call my kids that
When is the Jason vs Rex action challenge happening??
Early vid on discord, I like!
Where did the original Coleslow joke come from? The was it before or afterr the "Game on, coleslaw"?
You’re familiar with Murphy’s Law, right? Whatever can happen, will happen. Well, have you ever heard of Coles Law? It’s thinly sliced cabbage mixed with mayo and spices?
its in Mental Monte with Diamond Jim Tyler | Card Essentials
8 just got done watching petals around the rose
The first one is simple is 7+7+7-top number. As any opposing faces of a fair dice are n+1 which is 7 for a cube.
The second one uses spit or beer as seen and showed before on Scam School.
The last one had the most agonizing Scam School video ever and you never thaught it.
Ahhh the dad joke😂😂😂
I got the polarbear one instantly. Was it luck or is it actually so easy?
You're clearly a genius
The Rex vs Coleslaw beef will go down in history, eastside vs westwide, Tupac vs Biggie? They're thrown to the wayside, Rex vs Coleslaw will live forever
For the polar bears quick. Sad how long it took me to figure out which ones were fishing
When he goes to take a pea, they kick him in the icehole
0:22 aa-12 shoots that way
Should have rated the jokes as well lol
Good thing Diamond Jim had his survival bracelet on🤔🥴
Did understand those dice jokes.
The dots are called pips.
The last one is like the petals around the rose
Here just watching for free while that guy pay beer for a tutorial
Hey early today
The real magic is the black guy appearing and disappearing behind them.
I feel like the Rule of 7 for dice is the oldest Trick in the Book and i have no clue how people still dont know that..

HOW MANY HAIR DO DOES THIS GUY HAVE?
Were not even allowed to say the word “Dice” in school because it “Promotes gambling”
Armyaloof TV say “I hate dice” and see what happens
LOOT CUBES
didnt understand
at first i read " Jewish Dice Tricks" LMAO
I figured all 3 out in less than a second...eeaasyyyy
you're amazing
👏
I just realized that Diamond Jim Tyler has the same voice as Stephen Hawking. It's just a different inflection.
Damn, if you just filter out the noise I can totally see that.
First
I hate to be that guy, but that giant smile of Jim's always has such a fakeness about it. Very "used car salesman".
The show's called SCAM school, being dishonest is part of magic tricks.
It'll always be 16 since every side of the dice will always add to 7. That's a weak trick. C-.
If you paid attention then you would know that it is not always 16
Not very good at all.
