    You know what would make this trick even more crazy? Some how marking the cards on the other persons arm with out them noticing (Slight of hand) And then once the time comes to show them the card, you rub the ash on them and the card shows up. That would be some crazy shit to see.

    • @h.ar.2937
      @h.ar.2937 6 років тому +10

      how would you go on at rubbing liquid soap at their arms without them noticing lmao

    • @DivineAndDemonic
      @DivineAndDemonic 6 років тому +1

      Some people have really good skills at slight of hand. Look at master pick pockets. You just have to be really good at misdirecting their attention and you could simple be holding their arm while explaining something to them and moving your finger slowly into the shapes you need while possible sliding your hand up and down their arm. People fail to notice lot's when distracted so its not that hard to believe it to be possible. A simple way of getting the liquid onto your finger would be a lip stick and while you're getting ready for the trick you could pull it out and put some on your lips while also sneaking a small amount onto your finger tip before you start.

      There is a method out there that does this. I forget the name but I'm sure someone out there will read this and is able to point you in the right direction.

    • @gplechuckiii
      @gplechuckiii 6 років тому +2

      That would be damn near impossible. But you might be able to pull it off on a personal item of theirs, say the two sides of a smart phone. Just keep an alcohol pad on you to clean the phone, and remove any evidence, after you are done.
      A confederate reveal might also be fun. Like a friendly bartender that lets you mark 2 glasses and put them aside behind the bar for you. Mark them A & B, and you then signal to him which you want by saying either "Eh (for A) can you give me a glass?" or "Be (for B) a pal and get me a glass."

    I'm too lazy to do both arms. I'd do one. Then, if the card on my arm is chosen, I'll do that routine. If the other one is chosen, I'll say "you chose that one. We still don't know what your other option is but the card you just turned over is going to tell us the other card before we even turn the other card over." Then, burn the random card, wipe the ashes on your arm, and reveal that it matches the other card.

  • @eyewaves...
    @eyewaves... 4 роки тому

    This Tyler guy is an absolute gem... Hats off for your tricks and instructions..There is no need to destroy a card of a deck. DJ could ask the spectator to write the card on a piece of paper and keep it secret and burn the chit !!! Then DJ should rub the ashes on his own arm as usual - that will freak out anyone who doesn't know about the procedure of trick.

  • @shadowprince4482

    Also if you don't want to control the top two cards and have to remember which pile is which you can just have the person pick a pile and if it's the wrong pile then just say the other pile is mine and then use that pile. So they think they chose that pile for you. Hopefully that made sense.

    I like this effect, its like the one where you look at the card in there hands, and take one out, then you make them do this "force" and the two cards end up revieling what your prediction where, i actually learned that by seeing you do it, Brian, you'd made a cool card trick , made a tut, and then ended the episode with this KICK ass card effect, but after looking it through like a million times, i finally figured it out xD
    Thanks for being the main "role model" my intiere teenage years..

    This can also be used the exact same way with three piles or even four. The classic David Blane trick this is based off of is used with three so if you feel like preparing a third location (perhaps your chest, if you're confident enough 😂) that could make it that much more impressive.

    • @jefferyelsey6726
      @jefferyelsey6726 6 років тому

      I should mention that preparing more locations requires you to keep more cards on top, so don't get carried away because spectators will eventually notice you're keeping a lot of cards on top. This does, however, eliminate the possibility of the trick going wrong, because no matter what pile they pick, you're good To go.

  • @addisonscott9014
    @addisonscott9014 6 років тому

    Awesome illusion. I think it could be improved though. Instead of having the ashes just show the same card that you picked, you could use the card from one pile to "divine" what the top card of the other pile is. And then have the audience member flip over the card to reveal it's the same as is shown on your arm.

    You know you don't have to write on both arms. You can write the card on one and if they pick that card then it reveals itself but if they don't pick the right card then it looks as if is it is divining the other card.

  • @humanoid251

    Stopping at 3:20. I actually learned a similar trick on Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed. In that one someone writes something on a pad and they fold it up and burn it all while your back is turned and the pad actually has carbon paper that will copy what they wrote a few pages down and you use I think it was wax to write what they wrote on your arm and using the ashes of the paper you rub them against your arm and reveal what they wrote. Im gonna predict that this trick works in a similar fashion. I'm assuming DJT either wrote the 5 of clubs on his arm before hand and did some math magic to force the card or that after Alyssa showed the card he quickly wrote it on his arm under the table. Resuming video to see if I'm right
    Pausing again at 8:20 AHA! I was partially right! He did force and he did prepare beforehand, but he used soap and not wax. And that prepping both arms thing was a clever twist, did M Night Shyamalan write this trick?

    Brain UA-cam algorithm seems to be messing with this channel I haven't seen a video from scam school pop up in my subscribed tab for a year now all the sudden one popped in. I thought you stopped making content on this channel.I even left a comment on modern rouge channel saying I miss scam school, I get the modern rouge pop up on my subscribed tab. Seems like this is happening for awhile since I looked back at view count and quality has been the same but views have gone down. I would almost bet this video will get an abnormal amount of views since it popped up on my subscribe tab and i bet alot of other subscribers tabs who haven't seen a video from you in awhile

      The algorithm responds to your clicks. If it sees you go a few months without clicking on a new episode, it just assumes you're not into Scam School anymore and stops showing you new episodes. Click the bell icon next to "subscribe" if you want to never miss a new episode.
