Alliances and zerging. The issue some of us been telling them to change since Korea but they don't want to, besides that tornado + flashwave is just cancer
You cannot change alliances and zergs in an open world setting. Because it is well… like the real world i.e. the only real rule is the rule of power. In order to balance this you need to set boundaries which limit the world and make it not “open”. And I am saying this as a member of a small guild not having access to archbosses. Tldr - deal with it. Edit: tornado and flashwave can and need to be fixed.
@@infinitekarma2 The comment wasn't much of asking them to change it and more of giving a reason because at this point it can't be changed, that's a core mechanic that should've been reworked when the game was still fresh a year ago. There was numerous ways to alleviate it, people think too much of ways to break alliances and not the WHY they are so desired and it all boils down to lucent, start working from there. They could also make it multiple small battles across the map at the same time for castle ownership instead of one big fights so guilds would need to spread across the map if they wanted a chance. And for the record no, passing the castle between guilds is actually healthier for game so when the time to defend comes. it should be way challenging to keep the castle. There's more ways to make it light on zerging but not at this time it's already way past the returning point.
Also, I don't think that putting new tier 2, 3 or 4 armor and weapons is the answer, adding runes, weapons, artifacts, and all that stuff just makes the gap between old and new players bigger, making it as you will never catch up... Add more content, but not just add more levels and higher tier gears...
The game dies mainly from the rune update. Is good that they add more places where to get runes but still the main source are the dimenssional dungeons that in my opinion to do the same dungeons over and over is not fun at all. Is enough to do the dungeons you can do daily to not get too bored of them plus many players are casual and to add this kind of grind to a casual player that barely has time to do the existing daily contracts and all is like game over for him. I also got bored doing the same things over and over again. What i think they should do to revive the game is to add more content and i'm not talking about artefacts or other stuff like runes that will kill the game for sure but to add more open world map, more main quest and side quests. They created a great open world map design and you basicaly don't do nothing in it because the open world is not worth farming. This part i really don't understand how to make such great graphic world map and people are just farming in some dungeons and nothing outside of them, yes you have the daily contracts but that's it. They should add better drops on the open world monsters so people can go and farm in the open world and not only in dungeons. And to not add content like runes. I'm and l2 player and i was soo happy that a game similar released to be playable on console.
it's not that they need to add a new region asap. they just need to follow something like FFXIV, where there are side stories like filler stories until the big expansion drop which can be the new region to explore.
From a casual 3 day a week player; not enough loot if you work nights for one (I get potentially 1 or 2 world bosses on my days off as I wake up late) I've managed to stay ahead of the curve at 4300+ cp and grinded for everything and never once had any worthwhile drops, the conflict pvp is awful because you can't tell whos-who, and there are too many in alliances. Guilds should be limited to 30-50 max with 0 alliance, this gives smaller groups more chance to disrupt and be involved, some bosses need to spawn at random and not on schedule - just random spawns outside of scheduled hours so you can randomly go and kill if you're online. Need bosses to spawn ALL NIGHT not stop after 00:00. People who work nights get NOTHING. Don't wanna swap region as this game heavily relies on ping and connection considering the ping goes up whenever you're around people. everything in game should be able to be random Q'd as people who are intimidated to apply to groups will queue for random stuff. (trial tier theyve completed or whatever) overall though the grind for gear and just general rng on drops means you either gear up quickly or extremely slowly entirely based on your own RNG. Plenty of new people in my casual guild who are making no lucent as they keep getting blues all week. Game badly needs need a castle attack/defend battlegrounds mode with scaled levels/gear so everybody is equal, with teams. Game is absolutely terrible IF you're not on constantly in a top guild - then you're just going to be bored.
Let's not forget that they never fix a SINGLE TICKET i submitted. My mount points stopped at level 4 21/30 pts and it's been well over 2 weeks and they kept lying saying someone is working on it, but nothing ever got fixed. That's only 1 of the many tickets i submitted. Leveling log final rewards didn't work either, they kept lying that is fixed and i had to screenshot them concrete proof that is not. I'm thinking about quitting soon and I've been getting lots of purples from dungeons
@@kittyl7333 Haha yeah I think my level log ith the weekly reward one has been bugged too, bet you have to pick like the top left slot on weekly for it to finish properly. Sucks about the Mounts as the additional score would be nice! For me though it's mostly just all the limits, only so many runs a day and if you aren't lucky then you get nothing (blue) until the next day, and so on.. it's an awful system overall and I'd prefer to be able to grind constantly (people would even gear up quicker and probably attend PvP then too, lol).
@@broba5558 Yeah I started the first week f2p and back then blues and stuff sold for 500-1000 often so i spent my time farming ants nest and crafting blues, paid for pretty much everything trait wise. Got universal band and bloodlust by transmuting all my stuff and yeh. I've played MMOs forever though so I can just get into efficiency mode easily enough. If I started now while blues and traits in general are worth nothing then It'd take much longer for sure.

Spent my time farming blue drops in ants nest and such as they were selling for 500-1k constantly for only 5 ink a craft (if great) then i'd sell the ones with good traits through extraction; this paid for the majority of my gear and cosmetics. Still have yet to get a drop from a world boss though, even though i'm fully geared and consistently place 1-5 on Gate of Infinity for my class. /: Game needs some fixes for sure; plenty in my guild in the same boat, and then some others who always get drops and such due to their classes (gs/dag xbow/dag). Overall the game just needs more to do and more options and more random stuff for those actively online at the time.
People are ready for T2 gear and the other part of the map. That’s the thing, and the burnout is happening due to having much to do daily to progress stuff. People are tired of killing the same world bosses, same rift stone battles, bad pvp mechanics, stuns, long holiday updates (Christmas update shouldve been out the game already)
The main issues for me are the combat mechanics, like targeting, alliances, and the prevalence of zerging. Weapon balance is another big problem-take Flashwave, for example. On top of that, they keep introducing too many new systems, which ends up alienating casual players and driving them away. It’s frustrating because the game has so much potential, but they seem to fumble it with every update.
Hi:) I am still enjoying the game because i am not in a hurry:) When you are overgrinding in a game and reach the end game super fast, sooner or later, you will have the accomplishment feeling, that means you will start to get bored, especially if you don't have friends to play with. My opinion is that the players consume their time and probably money to reach the end game super fast, and that means they consume the actual content. Let's see.. the game is still improving and is friendly with every player. We are waiting for new content, that is actually the issue, and less bugs :D
I agree with you, I title myself as a "hardcore casual" to give emphasis on the casual aspect. But man even babooshka's have a limit on their dolls if you get me. I know every MMO need some degree of grind but these type of MMOs think that West are also nihaos, which is false. We do not game for work, we game for gaming. I tried the game because of friends and when relised the amount of grind for small to medium to big to large material for every ounch of gear worn.....and then RUNES and then WEAPON SPECIALISATION. Said good luck to my friends, I was critisized but in due time they will leave too. This is the reality despite any numbers seen and I am not harsh with my opinion, this is the game as it is.
@@aresonantsoul6668 I feel really bad for people that are having bad experience and take the game too seriously... At some point if you want to obtain everything, you don't gain any pleasure. You need to take it easy and not push hard. Of course, you can learn stuff to get better, builds and strategies... and do not rush, because you will get exhausted, and i heard of people actually breaking friendships because the drop system is broken... and is hard to distribute equal the items in a guild. There should be some priorities established, and help each other, understand each other.. pretty complicated with people... they should be one for all and all for one in a guild.
I love the game, i don't mind doing contracts daily, i´m used to games being like that, but the targeting is really crap... you have to have a pvp gear set up, skill set up, and settings set up for targeting and using skills... There's not smooth transition from pve to pvp
There's no content left...And the biggest problem is that you can't find pt for t2 dungeons...i got my CP to 4,2k and that's a cap...Almost got every skill that i use to lvl 5 (purple)..Targeting in the game is so bad..I can't understand why they don't know how to fix it...
The reason you cant find party's for your dungeons is because everyone is using random dungeon match making for the chance at the extra chests instead of creating a party and finding everyone yourself. Use the random match making and there's always party's.

@@nikolapantelic641no one uses party board anymore. Only just for trials. Like the guy above said. That everyone uses random dungeon q. It takes less than 5 mins for tier 2 dungeons. And almost instantly for tier 1
The reason why i use pt board is because random match-making give you the people who don't know mech..And if they die they leave the pt,or get kicked and then few other people in that party lrave the group...and you are forced to leave it too,and try it again... It's a waste of time
They need to have PvP reward milestones for everyone to participate, incentives not just big guilds. This I believe they can do. If so every individual with ego will be confident and express yourself rather than having to depend on guilds
honestly there is a lot they can copy from with examples from WoW and FFXIV. there are so many other MMO that have good systems they can reference from.
In order to fix the lag issue in massive battles of the global version of Throne and Liberty the dev team need to create instance based areas of the map, where each instance can only hold up to 1000 players only! So a server with 20000 players will not have a lagfest with desync issues when players are all concentrated on one section of the map.
I want someone to point out if I'm doing something wrong. Aside from the fact that casual players can’t compete with full-time or card-swiping gamers, the main problem with this game is that not everyone gets to properly enjoy its core feature: PvP, particularly large-scale PvP. For example, a casual player in a small guild that doesn’t participate in PvP will never experience the best aspect of the game, even though PvP is happening all the time-at least, that’s how I see it. On top of this, the gearing system is confusing and feels like a maze. It’s too expensive to re-roll, and much of the frustration comes from facing players with min-maxed builds. PS There's a voice to chat feature that no one uses. You usually never have a random social interaction in this game.
Throne and Liberty has 60k concurrent players just from steam thats not counting xbox or ps5 or if people aren't playing it threw steam. The game is alive and well. Also it's holiday season so alot of people are busy and doing stuff during these times so its not a good time for accurate numbers. Just last night had 59 198 players just threw steam.

right the games doing better than call of duty 😂😂😂 and its literally the only mmo on console thats not eso been playing eso for literally 10 years and im never going back from throne 🙏 been having a blast especially with doing dungeons with friends or the seasonal events! i used to ply a ton of RuneScape and Warcraft etc and out of all the mmos i played what i love about throne is the world genuinely feels dynamic, i know there are a ton of others on console in the same boat as me too, we have limited options on console so i feel like throne is here to stay ✊🔥

before i finish video i stoped at 5min30sec if they added more rewards on arena and pvp events and battrlegrounds are needed for those hardcore pvp players that enjoy it more and stuff will be way better more incentive for ppl to play and enjoy more
This game needs the following: The open world has to mean something. So they need to make it so if you kill a certain number of mobs in the open world in a certain area, they spawn hordes of harder level mobs with various resistances, after that massive horde, another harder and higher teir massive horde of monsters show up with even more resistances and more numbers just massive amount of numbers. After that a mobile Field world boss shows up and he has super resistances and a few random exploits and his goal is to Wipe EVERY Player in the Zone with a Zone wide wipe move if you cant beat him in time and he is mobile and has regen and healers (those healers can one shot in a cone). He provides materials if defeated that allow for the crafting of gear with an additional slot for the innate properties of weapons (user gets to choose the 2nd innate property or attribute, i.e Lycrious Wand near death attribute combined with Quarter staffs ranged buff attribute. They make it so you get 1/3 of the mats from the world mobs, you get 1/3 from the Field Boss drops, you get 1/3 from the dungeon runs (you have to meet curtain criteria in the dungeons to get the drops). each 1/3 piece has to be crafted and then all 3 pieces have to be crafted together to open the slot on the weapon.. later do the same thing for the body pieces.
I loved New World. It was the one of the very few MMORPGs that actually catered to healers in PVP such as OPR. I like this game and I have about 300+ hours in it playing in a little guild with 2 other friends. But I get stomped on as a healer because I'm the main focus. Being stunned, binded, sleep while not having enough protection for other magic, range, and close range DPS players makes it difficult. And that's even with stats allocating to strength and fortitude. Take arenas for one, horrible as a healer and having to respec to like a bow and/or heals or a staff makes it annoying to keep having to change over. Maybe I'm missing a pattern with presets but I would just love to be straight heals like in New World and still be able to handle my own against a group of 2-3 without being obliterated in seconds.

I hope we get a roadmap this week to see when the next updates are. The game is solid, needs some fixes here and there but over all has high potential. Most of the issues I read in the comments below (which I agree with) have been already acknolwedged by the devs and fixed are inteded to be rolled out as early as Q1, specifically related to the grind loop and tab-targeting (source Tico's Dec dev letter). As for the player count it's still good - Christmas period and PoE 2 launch we still had 60k players on PC alone (add more or less 10k for console). For reference here are the player count for other nieche MMOS during that period: New World Aeternum (15k), Black Desert (23k), Lost Ark (31k). And before you say that some of these titles are significantly older than T&L - outside of WoW, FFXIV, Guild Wars 2 - there are literally no other MMOs you would consider 'mainstream'.

No, Mass Oriented pvp in a very small area for thousands of players to fight each other, no currently one mega guild made of 4-8 full active player based vs rest of the server in that small area - even for castle siege.Everything is in favour of the winning side and defending side who has more active and p2w players as this game is TAB-TARGET gear based game and numbers are matters... The game is very p2w, very grindy, very toxic, same boring content, limited pvp and pve - especially pvp because of the one mega guild zerg alliance issue. Remove Alliance system in this game, make the game fully open world pvp by adding peace and war times, and add interested pvp and pve contents and events, make class balance changes, make healers to be more meaningful in the game (more healing skills, heal targeting, healing rewards, more healing combination with other weapons or bring a real healing weapon etc etc), bring sandbox mechanics and naval combat etc from Archeage. Take the good sides of Aion, Lineage and Blade and Soul games!!! Please ban the scammer guild leaders that has the control on every loot, change the loot system, thy even take the peace drop items from their own members and thy kick people as thy fit after getting world boss or arcboss weapons and items from peace events...
We did it 4 times already. Guild Nixx on Talus server:) we have 2 Guilds in Alliance = 140 ppl. We get the castle and defend it vs all server 4 times already 😀
I was playing Thrones and Liberty and was really enjoying it. I bought New World when it came out for XBox and I love New World. I already have 200+ hours on it. I took Thrones off and said I'll go back to it when I'm done with NW. We'll it hasn't happened. I'm just really enjoying NW. TaL is a fun game but I don't miss it because imo NW is a better game. The progression system for armor and weapons is bad. Why did they not learn from the new world? When the game was released for more than two years, players chose random weapons and the developers knew which set of weapons the players played. Why is it not about characters and not a game that forces you to make mistakes and learn from mistakes so that they can learn from the Black Desert of the new world? They wait for the game to die so they can change the game
a lot of what is mentioned is normal for ANY MMORPG. there will always be a downtime, even in WoW, FFXIV, GW2. HELL even in other games like PoE and Diablo 4 are the same as well. there will always be down time. the key issue is their content drop and the management of it. There is nothing bad or feels bad about grinding, some content like the Rune system shouldn't have been added in the first place. not because it's grindy but because it's just an overall bad system.
The game has a lot of potential but it has multiple problems especially gatekeeping problems. Imagine waiting 30 minutes for night to be over with it's over with and then someone pops an eclipse stupid stuff like that will make ppl move away from the game. It's always the same guilds that are on top it never changes. A lot of it makes zero sense I honestly believe they want people to quit. I've been playing MMORPG since 2000 I started with final fantasy XI I've been playing final fantasy 14 for 10 years and throne needs to either play FF14 or even better consult square enix get their help to fine tune throne. Reduce guild sizes remove alliances and make PvE only servers.
Targeting needs to be reworked immediately and everything else, besides adding more content to the game that's not time gated, needs to be put on the back burner or the game is just going to continue to flatline. Rune system is a completely terrible for progression only because of the limited number of ways to obtain runes and upgrade them. Grinding one dungeon over and over for runes will kill this game and has already shown the decline since runes were released. On the pvp side they need content similar to arena that's far more in depth like battlegrounds or Eso cyrodiil that can be played continuously with rewards that are worth achieving for playing, not time gated events that are meaningless, boring, or only happen once every 2 weeks. On the pve side they can keep everything already existing, but my god add raids and solo dungeons. Also world is empty for an mmo no life skilling, crafting, and side quests. How can you call this an mmo in comparison to games like wow, eso, and runescape?
Why do you think so? My opinion based on the end game - here is no any other end game then PVP. You literally grind PVE only for the PVP ) The process during the grind = PVE, but it's very unfun in this game and no goal, except PVP one more time
the devs need to allow allow for targeted loot or increase the drop rate of loot. you need to get multiple versions of most gear anyway if you want to max out traits and complete your desired set of gear. go through systems that they implemented that cause grind, either through progressively more expensive quality of life features (real money and in-game currency) and they need to remove expiration timers for items. due to the exorbitant cost of gear, skills, weapon proficiency and the server time and item gating you end up either not able to do content that you want to do, or be forced to wait until you can play how you want to play. this makes my time feel less valued and actually forced me to log off, thereby reducing my desire to support he devs monetarily. they should also add battlegrounds, GvG and random.
How does a Lineage 2 successor have no persistent open world conquest pvp content? 0 excuse for that not being on the roadmap. They released early to salvage development costs and it's overly apparent with the lack of content.
After playing more than 15 years Lineage2 i was so hyped for TaL , all of my friends as well , we were more than 20 lad's waiting for that game like small kid's hahaha.. After a month on the game we realised that PvP isnt balanced at all , i wont talk aboutt p2w as the game is super friendly for f2p player's , i spend only 40euros on the game and im full gear more than 4,4k CP but ofcourse am playing 15 hours per day like crazy...After more than 1,5k hour's in the game playing PvP since day 1 of Global launch we all realised that the luck of pve content and unbalanced PvP approach of developers makes people quit the game..Its not fun at all to be a tank and do more damage than a pure DPS , for me it doesnt make sense at all..Small Scale PvP 0 fun at all because of unbalanced pvp , sorry but am not having fun to kill xbow's one shot while i know as a gamer thats just veeery unbalanced for a game...Longbow/Staff can outheal more than 40-60k dmg while other classes dont have even 1 Crowd control skill , it feels that they wanted just to release the game to get a pay day and thats all..from 350k player's to 40k player base thats more than 300% downfall which mean's that game gonna be played from player's that they are abusing unbalanced pvp...I wont comment about big guild or big alliance since thats the part of the true real life that we live to ... the more powerfull win's and thats it..Deal with it or Leave it..

So crazy how someone like this person makes a video saying the game is dying based off his personal experience that he had. But I can tell you. The game is definitely not dying. People try to progress on their own or with a Grimy Guild, which will make the game not fun at all. Because this game is literally based on making your progression easier through being with a guild And if you think you are going to progress fast by not being with a guild you got this game backwards? I play it everyday and i am very satisfied with the updates the been haveing especially being a newer game they are on the right track
Epic content thanks a lot. Personally I dont believe T2 gear and map will change anything too much because question after that is "When we will get T3?" :D On the video looks like you are the part of the last server big alliance and you farming PvE bosses. This happened to majority servers now.
You don't need to do contracts you can do the culinary ones and get similar rewards. Ppl just complain and complain and not know what they want. Go find a different game to play there isn't a better one imo whether it be rivals or poe2 wow or ff all those don't compare but if you like it go play those.
I think they want to slow down so players can full traits. Look at the trial recruitments which are always 4k and up to 4k1 soon. They go slow so that the goods get cheaper and people get enough to be able to do t3 have higher requirements. I'm sure 3k7- 4k is still full of shortcomings in equipment. But I find in pvp they really lack incentive. The rewards are only for guilds. So it's not worth me to research.

Reduce alliances to 2 increase number of members in guild to 100 change dimensional trials to boss only and let runes drop from all content fixed right there
Throne and Liberty is dying and that makes me sad, the game is amazing but it feels NCSoft/Amazon games dont care about the game and Players. And this is ONLY the beggining, at 2025 the release of Chronos Odissey Will kill the rest of Throne.

I’m a healer 4300gs and large scale pvp isn’t fun for me. To much anti heal and I can’t out heal dps damage so all I do is top the odd person up and die when I’m focused. So boring. The game is just made for dps people.
4200gs healer, at the end of the day its a number game. If youre getting flashwaved with military precision nothing is going to save you. But you should be able to shield and heal enough to make a big difference in like 10v10 scale. As a healer in GvG you should be geared like a tank.
Here's the problems. Pay to win. You should only be able to buy cosmetics. Won't last in global cause of that. Next problem, stop holding back loot drops cause you want people to buy lucent to buy them. I shouldn't run a 2 star dungeon and get a blue Next problem, same as before but different issue. Don't hold back loot. Dimensional trials should still give the dungeon regular rewards. I shouldn't run a whole ass dungeon for trash runes and nothing else. Stop holding back content, don't give us tier 2 dungeons, and not tune them down for tier 1 gear. Shit is still made for having better gear that we don't have access to. Next get rid of fucking alliances. And don't let people who won the throne last time, get to keep it. Pay to win models are trash and cause quick money, then no money.
@ lineage, aion, wow, bdo. TL has unplayable pvp when we're talking about large scale and no rewards when it comes to small scale. No content for pvp when it's daylight, and the rest of the pvp is unplayable because of the performance and lack of optimization, tap targeting that doesn't work, there's no absolutely no skill in large scale. So many things wrong with pvp.

End game is boring. But from 1-50 is cool. I it is like they made a game for Gen Z...Egoistic gamers who just want to run as fast as they can to the main boss and if they do not make it, they just do it all over again, not too hard bosses, not use the brain too much, boring! For guilds, you need to have a role to play, and live that role in the guild, like healer, tank etc. Take WoW Classic the first real dungeon in the game, Molten Core, now this was fun back in 2004, and everybody needed to have a role and everybody needed to do things right, just like it should be, in big guild scale. In Throne and Liberty, it is just blahhh boring..It is really boring! Throne and Liberty would be awesome if they just didn't stop making new quests, new things to do after level 50. The boss thing is one thing for the casual guild it is boring, same sh** defriend day. Not many have the time today for a hardcore guild (school, work, family...a life to live etc.). It just all become somewhat the same, over and over again, boring after level 50. I love to explore in mmorpgs and it would be awesome if the game had some kind of exploring guild theme thing. It took me a few days (do to family, work, life) to reach level 50 and i loved it. Then the "join a guild" part happened. It just ruined the game for me. Sorry for bad english, i am not english
I haven’t tried pvp yet, but it seems like we need more PvE content, it’s difficult to transition from PvE to PvP but yet the targeting is definitely a pre development when the game was supposed to be lineage 3. I don’t like the mechanics I only playing it because of the artistic, the semi grind, and the community. Some people are assholes but I found some people really trying to keep it live with smaller guilds we do need more PvE content more rewarding and more content in PvE. What I don’t want is something like lost ark I tried it but I don’t like it
I've said it before and I'll say it again. T&L is dying because of the P2W. It's that simple. I keep seeing all these videos that come up with every other reason they can think of but it isn't any of these reasons. It's the PAY TO WIN. Come on guys, get real. Edit: Every single issue with the game actually stems directly from P2W. The zerg alliances, the unfair distribution of loot, et etc. It all stems from the same problem. If you haven't figured out yet, the way the stats on gear are designed is specifically done in a way that grossly encourages P2W. There is a reason why games like WoW or G2W (to name only a couple) do not create stat systems like the one you find in this game. It's because it's awful, impossible to balance, and when combined with purchased power, creates a P2W monster that cannot sustain a healthy player population in the long run. This game is a smash and grab. Only, sadly, due to the incredible quality, it will likely continue to sucker in new players for a long time to come while also farming the existing whales. Could have been one of GOATS, but it'll never be anything more than an insidious trap.
i wholeheartedly disagree that it's dying because of P2W, WoW also have P2W. although it's not as in your face and blatant as TnL. TnL suffers because of bugs, and lack of meaningful content. I don't see any reason for them to introduce the Rune system whatsoever, it's just bad decisions.
nono, copy paste from lineage 2 would have ended up in a good game. This game has NOTHING to do with Lineage 2 in the slightest, i get so pissed off when they even dare to compare it.
Same reason Amazon Killed New World... 1) bad combat/movement/targeing, 2) boring reptitive end game grind and 3) never ending tread mill that keeps getting extended.
This is my first mmorpg...and i can say...i enjoy this game a lot ! 😀 ...why ? well the reason i play it ...its simple to understand...graphics are good...a lot of pvp to choose...dungeons are nice...guild+allied so a lot of teamwork 😃...also i dont need to play this game ...all days in a row...and i dont lose much...since the points and contracts stacks ( ^ _^ ) ...Of course...its not a perfect game...but for the reason i play it...its all good ! 😉

No loot plus gear still takes 10 years to grind out n buy so no one really wants to make second builds unless you are a swipe plus the rune grind no one even cares about so it's not actual content to anybody but pve andies we just want pvp but even pvp feels awful
i only play pve. the pvp is not fun with the targeting system. janky movement and unbalanced abilities. pve is a lot of fun with the right people but its missing the backbone of any mmorpg. a dps meter.

I play in small guild we do Pve and I enjoy it ,but we can't compare to the big guilds and go in open fights. If they add more pve instead of pvp content, like battlegrounds 6v6 or 12v12, capture the flag or take the point, difrent arena and pvp rewards, Im leaving this game with no hesitation. Simply there is nothing to do in small pvp u got stomped by big guild zergs in open and thats not fun. Doing same arena all over and not getting any good rewards is discouraging :/

Exactly, the rewards for individuals in pvp are too modest. Not worthy for small individuals or small guilds to participate. They need to adjust immediately. In this day and age of needing haste and privacy, they Individuals should not be forced to depend on collective activities even though they are doing MMO, they need to change with the times.
Biggest issue I've run into with T&L is the "Scripters/Cheating" when 15 players are trying to kill a single player and that 1 player can take out 20-30 other players it makes you scratch your head. I'm over 3650CP and in PvP I get deleted in 1 second typically, maybe 2 seconds if they stun/slam then delete. but it's really weird. They don't seem to care about the scripters either. our castle siege was 4 guilds vs the rest of the server about 21 guilds. 8000+ kills for the defenders and 2159 kills for the rest of the server, most of those kills were against each other after we realized the defenders were cheating and taking 0 damage, teleporting around the map, and 1 shot'ing everything we just had a huge brawl among ourselves at least we could kill each other if we couldn't kill the defenders. I have several people in my alliance that posted videos but no one can find the videos they posted 2 days ago, it's like youtube is censoring their videos for some reason.
its not pvp game its PvX game, i dont know why everyone has this label that this game is pvp, look at the official website, its always been a PvX game.. rune grind was great until everyone started crying and now is super easy and unfunny..
Only reason players base dropped is because global see Korea is having fun in the new map Area & tier 2 weapons,,,i think there is enough people who are geared enough right now I don’t see any reason why would they not give the people with the want and release what Korea server have.

It is normaly that many ppl left after the hype and the players what like the game will by. I’m sure the game will exist many years. Ncsoft and Amazon doing great job, bringing fast new content and many good changes because they listen to the community. If y don’t like the game go play another. I love the game and will play it 😊

You are just delusional if you state sth like "the combat system is good rn". Go and check Black Desert Online, where your movement on the character actually matters, where you have many, many skills to use depends on the situation etc.. And then come back to TnL where your character is heavily limited by 12 skills available to use at the same time, cooldowns, TAB-target (action combat mode is just a half-tabtarget). There are not i-frames, CC protections on most classes etc. Only Q block, which is clunky in dynamic combat. combat system in TnL: just a good skill rotation, basic class knowledge and THE BEST GEAR YOU CAN GET to win combat system in BDO: good skill rotation (excellent on some classes), excellent movement mid-fight, excellent APM (on some classes), excellent class knowledge, excellent skill management (so many skills, but only some of them are viable in each moment of the fight - in tnl you can just spam them one by one and generally it will be at least OK). Hehe, and in BDO the player does not need the best gear to beat opponent. Even way less geared player can beat the more geared one. In tnl it is not possible, the stats are too important :( Sure, bdo is on the EU market for ~9 years now and devs added some unbalanced and simple to play classes to the game last years, but the combat system in general is very skill-dependant. On the other hand, unfortunately, the combat system in TnL is not about the player's skill, but rather about the player's gear. The is no or is very small room to outplay someone. Only in 1v1 it is possible. On the other hand, in BDO excellent player can beat 3, 4, 5 good players because he is excellent. In Tnl it is NOT POSSIBLE if opponents have 2 hands, mouse and keyboard. So yes, the devs should be focues on making the PvP in tnl way more skill and movement dependant... But i don't think that they will fix it. They would need to remove tab-target and change it to full action combat game, it is possible only by making another game from the start.

You cannot change alliances and zergs in an open world setting. Because it is well… like the real world i.e. the only real rule is the rule of power. In order to balance this you need to set boundaries which limit the world and make it not “open”. And I am saying this as a member of a small guild not having access to archbosses.
Tldr - deal with it.
Edit: tornado and flashwave can and need to be fixed.
@@infinitekarma2 The comment wasn't much of asking them to change it and more of giving a reason because at this point it can't be changed, that's a core mechanic that should've been reworked when the game was still fresh a year ago.
There was numerous ways to alleviate it, people think too much of ways to break alliances and not the WHY they are so desired and it all boils down to lucent, start working from there. They could also make it multiple small battles across the map at the same time for castle ownership instead of one big fights so guilds would need to spread across the map if they wanted a chance. And for the record no, passing the castle between guilds is actually healthier for game so when the time to defend comes. it should be way challenging to keep the castle.
There's more ways to make it light on zerging but not at this time it's already way past the returning point.
Also, I don't think that putting new tier 2, 3 or 4 armor and weapons is the answer, adding runes, weapons, artifacts, and all that stuff just makes the gap between old and new players bigger, making it as you will never catch up... Add more content, but not just add more levels and higher tier gears...
they are at lvl 55 in korea, new zones etc. remade weapon mastery.
ever heard of catch up mechanics? that's how there's no gap in Korea. you are not an expert in MMOs. they know what they are doing and it's working.

It's was rune grind that ruined the game for me. It's boring and bad mechanic to keep up to be competitive.
The game dies mainly from the rune update. Is good that they add more places where to get runes but still the main source are the dimenssional dungeons that in my opinion to do the same dungeons over and over is not fun at all. Is enough to do the dungeons you can do daily to not get too bored of them plus many players are casual and to add this kind of grind to a casual player that barely has time to do the existing daily contracts and all is like game over for him. I also got bored doing the same things over and over again. What i think they should do to revive the game is to add more content and i'm not talking about artefacts or other stuff like runes that will kill the game for sure but to add more open world map, more main quest and side quests. They created a great open world map design and you basicaly don't do nothing in it because the open world is not worth farming. This part i really don't understand how to make such great graphic world map and people are just farming in some dungeons and nothing outside of them, yes you have the daily contracts but that's it. They should add better drops on the open world monsters so people can go and farm in the open world and not only in dungeons. And to not add content like runes. I'm and l2 player and i was soo happy that a game similar released to be playable on console.

it's not that they need to add a new region asap. they just need to follow something like FFXIV, where there are side stories like filler stories until the big expansion drop which can be the new region to explore.
From a casual 3 day a week player; not enough loot if you work nights for one (I get potentially 1 or 2 world bosses on my days off as I wake up late) I've managed to stay ahead of the curve at 4300+ cp and grinded for everything and never once had any worthwhile drops, the conflict pvp is awful because you can't tell whos-who, and there are too many in alliances.
Guilds should be limited to 30-50 max with 0 alliance, this gives smaller groups more chance to disrupt and be involved, some bosses need to spawn at random and not on schedule - just random spawns outside of scheduled hours so you can randomly go and kill if you're online. Need bosses to spawn ALL NIGHT not stop after 00:00. People who work nights get NOTHING. Don't wanna swap region as this game heavily relies on ping and connection considering the ping goes up whenever you're around people.
everything in game should be able to be random Q'd as people who are intimidated to apply to groups will queue for random stuff. (trial tier theyve completed or whatever)
overall though the grind for gear and just general rng on drops means you either gear up quickly or extremely slowly entirely based on your own RNG. Plenty of new people in my casual guild who are making no lucent as they keep getting blues all week.
Game badly needs need a castle attack/defend battlegrounds mode with scaled levels/gear so everybody is equal, with teams. Game is absolutely terrible IF you're not on constantly in a top guild - then you're just going to be bored.
Let's not forget that they never fix a SINGLE TICKET i submitted. My mount points stopped at level 4 21/30 pts and it's been well over 2 weeks and they kept lying saying someone is working on it, but nothing ever got fixed. That's only 1 of the many tickets i submitted. Leveling log final rewards didn't work either, they kept lying that is fixed and i had to screenshot them concrete proof that is not. I'm thinking about quitting soon and I've been getting lots of purples from dungeons
@@kittyl7333 Haha yeah I think my level log ith the weekly reward one has been bugged too, bet you have to pick like the top left slot on weekly for it to finish properly. Sucks about the Mounts as the additional score would be nice! For me though it's mostly just all the limits, only so many runs a day and if you aren't lucky then you get nothing (blue) until the next day, and so on.. it's an awful system overall and I'd prefer to be able to grind constantly (people would even gear up quicker and probably attend PvP then too, lol).

@@broba5558 Yeah I started the first week f2p and back then blues and stuff sold for 500-1000 often so i spent my time farming ants nest and crafting blues, paid for pretty much everything trait wise. Got universal band and bloodlust by transmuting all my stuff and yeh. I've played MMOs forever though so I can just get into efficiency mode easily enough. If I started now while blues and traits in general are worth nothing then It'd take much longer for sure.

Spent my time farming blue drops in ants nest and such as they were selling for 500-1k constantly for only 5 ink a craft (if great) then i'd sell the ones with good traits through extraction; this paid for the majority of my gear and cosmetics. Still have yet to get a drop from a world boss though, even though i'm fully geared and consistently place 1-5 on Gate of Infinity for my class. /: Game needs some fixes for sure; plenty in my guild in the same boat, and then some others who always get drops and such due to their classes (gs/dag xbow/dag). Overall the game just needs more to do and more options and more random stuff for those actively online at the time.
People are ready for T2 gear and the other part of the map. That’s the thing, and the burnout is happening due to having much to do daily to progress stuff. People are tired of killing the same world bosses, same rift stone battles, bad pvp mechanics, stuns, long holiday updates (Christmas update shouldve been out the game already)

Yup. I'm templar. If I heal or tank i don't really get anything for it but if I'm not there my dps suffers.
The main issues for me are the combat mechanics, like targeting, alliances, and the prevalence of zerging. Weapon balance is another big problem-take Flashwave, for example. On top of that, they keep introducing too many new systems, which ends up alienating casual players and driving them away. It’s frustrating because the game has so much potential, but they seem to fumble it with every update.
Hi:) I am still enjoying the game because i am not in a hurry:) When you are overgrinding in a game and reach the end game super fast, sooner or later, you will have the accomplishment feeling, that means you will start to get bored, especially if you don't have friends to play with. My opinion is that the players consume their time and probably money to reach the end game super fast, and that means they consume the actual content. Let's see.. the game is still improving and is friendly with every player. We are waiting for new content, that is actually the issue, and less bugs :D

I agree with you, I title myself as a "hardcore casual" to give emphasis on the casual aspect. But man even babooshka's have a limit on their dolls if you get me. I know every MMO need some degree of grind but these type of MMOs think that West are also nihaos, which is false. We do not game for work, we game for gaming. I tried the game because of friends and when relised the amount of grind for small to medium to big to large material for every ounch of gear worn.....and then RUNES and then WEAPON SPECIALISATION. Said good luck to my friends, I was critisized but in due time they will leave too. This is the reality despite any numbers seen and I am not harsh with my opinion, this is the game as it is.
@@aresonantsoul6668 I feel really bad for people that are having bad experience and take the game too seriously... At some point if you want to obtain everything, you don't gain any pleasure. You need to take it easy and not push hard. Of course, you can learn stuff to get better, builds and strategies... and do not rush, because you will get exhausted, and i heard of people actually breaking friendships because the drop system is broken... and is hard to distribute equal the items in a guild. There should be some priorities established, and help each other, understand each other.. pretty complicated with people... they should be one for all and all for one in a guild.
I love the game, i don't mind doing contracts daily, i´m used to games being like that, but the targeting is really crap... you have to have a pvp gear set up, skill set up, and settings set up for targeting and using skills... There's not smooth transition from pve to pvp

There's no content left...And the biggest problem is that you can't find pt for t2 dungeons...i got my CP to 4,2k and that's a cap...Almost got every skill that i use to lvl 5 (purple)..Targeting in the game is so bad..I can't understand why they don't know how to fix it...
The reason you cant find party's for your dungeons is because everyone is using random dungeon match making for the chance at the extra chests instead of creating a party and finding everyone yourself. Use the random match making and there's always party's.

@@nikolapantelic641no one uses party board anymore. Only just for trials. Like the guy above said. That everyone uses random dungeon q. It takes less than 5 mins for tier 2 dungeons. And almost instantly for tier 1
Also when u do find ppl to do dungeon trials they don't know the mechs
The reason why i use pt board is because random match-making give you the people who don't know mech..And if they die they leave the pt,or get kicked and then few other people in that party lrave the group...and you are forced to leave it too,and try it again... It's a waste of time
They need to have PvP reward milestones for everyone to participate, incentives not just big guilds. This I believe they can do. If so every individual with ego will be confident and express yourself rather than having to depend on guilds
honestly there is a lot they can copy from with examples from WoW and FFXIV. there are so many other MMO that have good systems they can reference from.

In order to fix the lag issue in massive battles of the global version of Throne and Liberty the dev team need to create instance based areas of the map, where each instance can only hold up to 1000 players only! So a server with 20000 players will not have a lagfest with desync issues when players are all concentrated on one section of the map.

Aside from the fact that casual players can’t compete with full-time or card-swiping gamers, the main problem with this game is that not everyone gets to properly enjoy its core feature: PvP, particularly large-scale PvP. For example, a casual player in a small guild that doesn’t participate in PvP will never experience the best aspect of the game, even though PvP is happening all the time-at least, that’s how I see it.
On top of this, the gearing system is confusing and feels like a maze. It’s too expensive to re-roll, and much of the frustration comes from facing players with min-maxed builds.
PS There's a voice to chat feature that no one uses. You usually never have a random social interaction in this game.
Throne and Liberty has 60k concurrent players just from steam thats not counting xbox or ps5 or if people aren't playing it threw steam. The game is alive and well. Also it's holiday season so alot of people are busy and doing stuff during these times so its not a good time for accurate numbers. Just last night had 59 198 players just threw steam.

right the games doing better than call of duty 😂😂😂 and its literally the only mmo on console thats not eso been playing eso for literally 10 years and im never going back from throne 🙏 been having a blast especially with doing dungeons with friends or the seasonal events! i used to ply a ton of RuneScape and Warcraft etc and out of all the mmos i played what i love about throne is the world genuinely feels dynamic, i know there are a ton of others on console in the same boat as me too, we have limited options on console so i feel like throne is here to stay ✊🔥

I want them to incorporate using t1 and t2 chests into trials, having to do t1 and t2 dungeons + trials is a bit of a joke
before i finish video i stoped at 5min30sec if they added more rewards on arena and pvp events and battrlegrounds are needed for those hardcore pvp players that enjoy it more and stuff will be way better more incentive for ppl to play and enjoy more
This game needs the following:
The open world has to mean something. So they need to make it so if you kill a certain number of mobs in the open world in a certain area, they spawn hordes of harder level mobs with various resistances, after that massive horde, another harder and higher teir massive horde of monsters show up with even more resistances and more numbers just massive amount of numbers. After that a mobile Field world boss shows up and he has super resistances and a few random exploits and his goal is to Wipe EVERY Player in the Zone with a Zone wide wipe move if you cant beat him in time and he is mobile and has regen and healers (those healers can one shot in a cone). He provides materials if defeated that allow for the crafting of gear with an additional slot for the innate properties of weapons (user gets to choose the 2nd innate property or attribute, i.e Lycrious Wand near death attribute combined with Quarter staffs ranged buff attribute. They make it so you get 1/3 of the mats from the world mobs, you get 1/3 from the Field Boss drops, you get 1/3 from the dungeon runs (you have to meet curtain criteria in the dungeons to get the drops). each 1/3 piece has to be crafted and then all 3 pieces have to be crafted together to open the slot on the weapon.. later do the same thing for the body pieces.
I loved New World. It was the one of the very few MMORPGs that actually catered to healers in PVP such as OPR. I like this game and I have about 300+ hours in it playing in a little guild with 2 other friends. But I get stomped on as a healer because I'm the main focus. Being stunned, binded, sleep while not having enough protection for other magic, range, and close range DPS players makes it difficult. And that's even with stats allocating to strength and fortitude. Take arenas for one, horrible as a healer and having to respec to like a bow and/or heals or a staff makes it annoying to keep having to change over. Maybe I'm missing a pattern with presets but I would just love to be straight heals like in New World and still be able to handle my own against a group of 2-3 without being obliterated in seconds.

I hope we get a roadmap this week to see when the next updates are. The game is solid, needs some fixes here and there but over all has high potential. Most of the issues I read in the comments below (which I agree with) have been already acknolwedged by the devs and fixed are inteded to be rolled out as early as Q1, specifically related to the grind loop and tab-targeting (source Tico's Dec dev letter). As for the player count it's still good - Christmas period and PoE 2 launch we still had 60k players on PC alone (add more or less 10k for console). For reference here are the player count for other nieche MMOS during that period: New World Aeternum (15k), Black Desert (23k), Lost Ark (31k). And before you say that some of these titles are significantly older than T&L - outside of WoW, FFXIV, Guild Wars 2 - there are literally no other MMOs you would consider 'mainstream'.

No, Mass Oriented pvp in a very small area for thousands of players to fight each other, no currently one mega guild made of 4-8 full active player based vs rest of the server in that small area - even for castle siege.Everything is in favour of the winning side and defending side who has more active and p2w players as this game is TAB-TARGET gear based game and numbers are matters... The game is very p2w, very grindy, very toxic, same boring content, limited pvp and pve - especially pvp because of the one mega guild zerg alliance issue.
Remove Alliance system in this game, make the game fully open world pvp by adding peace and war times, and add interested pvp and pve contents and events, make class balance changes, make healers to be more meaningful in the game (more healing skills, heal targeting, healing rewards, more healing combination with other weapons or bring a real healing weapon etc etc), bring sandbox mechanics and naval combat etc from Archeage. Take the good sides of Aion, Lineage and Blade and Soul games!!!
Please ban the scammer guild leaders that has the control on every loot, change the loot system, thy even take the peace drop items from their own members and thy kick people as thy fit after getting world boss or arcboss weapons and items from peace events...
We did it 4 times already. Guild Nixx on Talus server:) we have 2 Guilds in Alliance = 140 ppl. We get the castle and defend it vs all server 4 times already 😀

I was playing Thrones and Liberty and was really enjoying it. I bought New World when it came out for XBox and I love New World. I already have 200+ hours on it. I took Thrones off and said I'll go back to it when I'm done with NW. We'll it hasn't happened. I'm just really enjoying NW. TaL is a fun game but I don't miss it because imo NW is a better game. The game is all about gear, it pressures people to grind, there should be alot more to do in an mmo rather than just continuously grind
The progression system for armor and weapons is bad. Why did they not learn from the new world? When the game was released for more than two years, players chose random weapons and the developers knew which set of weapons the players played. Why is it not about characters and not a game that forces you to make mistakes and learn from mistakes so that they can learn from the Black Desert of the new world? They wait for the game to die so they can change the game
a lot of what is mentioned is normal for ANY MMORPG. there will always be a downtime, even in WoW, FFXIV, GW2. HELL even in other games like PoE and Diablo 4 are the same as well. there will always be down time. the key issue is their content drop and the management of it. There is nothing bad or feels bad about grinding, some content like the Rune system shouldn't have been added in the first place. not because it's grindy but because it's just an overall bad system.
The game has a lot of potential but it has multiple problems especially gatekeeping problems. Imagine waiting 30 minutes for night to be over with it's over with and then someone pops an eclipse stupid stuff like that will make ppl move away from the game. It's always the same guilds that are on top it never changes. A lot of it makes zero sense I honestly believe they want people to quit. I've been playing MMORPG since 2000 I started with final fantasy XI I've been playing final fantasy 14 for 10 years and throne needs to either play FF14 or even better consult square enix get their help to fine tune throne. Reduce guild sizes remove alliances and make PvE only servers.
The game lets you close the gap to a f2p and to a somewhat semi spender.
Targeting needs to be reworked immediately and everything else, besides adding more content to the game that's not time gated, needs to be put on the back burner or the game is just going to continue to flatline. Rune system is a completely terrible for progression only because of the limited number of ways to obtain runes and upgrade them. Grinding one dungeon over and over for runes will kill this game and has already shown the decline since runes were released. On the pvp side they need content similar to arena that's far more in depth like battlegrounds or Eso cyrodiil that can be played continuously with rewards that are worth achieving for playing, not time gated events that are meaningless, boring, or only happen once every 2 weeks. On the pve side they can keep everything already existing, but my god add raids and solo dungeons. Also world is empty for an mmo no life skilling, crafting, and side quests. How can you call this an mmo in comparison to games like wow, eso, and runescape?

the devs need to allow allow for targeted loot or increase the drop rate of loot. you need to get multiple versions of most gear anyway if you want to max out traits and complete your desired set of gear. go through systems that they implemented that cause grind, either through progressively more expensive quality of life features (real money and in-game currency) and they need to remove expiration timers for items. due to the exorbitant cost of gear, skills, weapon proficiency and the server time and item gating you end up either not able to do content that you want to do, or be forced to wait until you can play how you want to play. this makes my time feel less valued and actually forced me to log off, thereby reducing my desire to support he devs monetarily.

How does a Lineage 2 successor have no persistent open world conquest pvp content? 0 excuse for that not being on the roadmap. They released early to salvage development costs and it's overly apparent with the lack of content.

After playing more than 15 years Lineage2 i was so hyped for TaL , all of my friends as well , we were more than 20 lad's waiting for that game like small kid's hahaha..
After a month on the game we realised that PvP isnt balanced at all , i wont talk aboutt p2w as the game is super friendly for f2p player's , i spend only 40euros on the game and im full gear more than 4,4k CP but ofcourse am playing 15 hours per day like crazy...After more than 1,5k hour's in the game playing PvP since day 1 of Global launch we all realised that the luck of pve content and unbalanced PvP approach of developers makes people quit the game..Its not fun at all to be a tank and do more damage than a pure DPS , for me it doesnt make sense at all..Small Scale PvP 0 fun at all because of unbalanced pvp , sorry but am not having fun to kill xbow's one shot while i know as a gamer thats just veeery unbalanced for a game...Longbow/Staff can outheal more than 40-60k dmg while other classes dont have even 1 Crowd control skill , it feels that they wanted just to release the game to get a pay day and thats all..from 350k player's to 40k player base thats more than 300% downfall which mean's that game gonna be played from player's that they are abusing unbalanced pvp...I wont comment about big guild or big alliance since thats the part of the true real life that we live to ... the more powerfull win's and thats it..Deal with it or Leave it..

People try to progress on their own or with a Grimy Guild, which will make the game not fun at all. I think they want to slow down so players can full traits. Look at the trial recruitments which are always 4k and up to 4k1 soon. They go slow so that the goods get cheaper and people get enough to be able to do t3 have higher requirements. I'm sure 3k7- 4k is still full of shortcomings in equipment. But I find in pvp they really lack incentive. The rewards are only for guilds. So it's not worth me to research.

Throne and Liberty is dying and that makes me sad, the game is amazing but it feels NCSoft/Amazon games dont care about the game and Players.

I’m a healer 4300gs and large scale pvp isn’t fun for me. To much anti heal and I can’t out heal dps damage so all I do is top the odd person up and die when I’m focused. So boring. The game is just made for dps people.
Well, many mmos are focused on the DD, especialy PVP ones, so yeah agree
4200gs healer, at the end of the day its a number game. If youre getting flashwaved with military precision nothing is going to save you. But you should be able to shield and heal enough to make a big difference in like 10v10 scale. As a healer in GvG you should be geared like a tank.
I hope they have something better than war games. Maybe a 6v6 or 12v12 like capture the flag or hold the point.Needs something better, easier access.

@ lineage, aion, wow, bdo. TL has unplayable pvp when we're talking about large scale and no rewards when it comes to small scale. No content for pvp when it's daylight, and the rest of the pvp is unplayable because of the performance and lack of optimization, tap targeting that doesn't work, there's no absolutely no skill in large scale. So many things wrong with pvp.

End game is boring. But from 1-50 is cool. I it is like they made a game for Gen Z...Egoistic gamers who just want to run as fast as they can to the main boss and if they do not make it, they just do it all over again, not too hard bosses, not use the brain too much, boring! For guilds, you need to have a role to play, and live that role in the guild, like healer, tank etc. Take WoW Classic the first real dungeon in the game, Molten Core, now this was fun back in 2004, and everybody needed to have a role and everybody needed to do things right, just like it should be, in big guild scale. In Throne and Liberty, it is just blahhh boring..It is really boring! Throne and Liberty would be awesome if they just didn't stop making new quests, new things to do after level 50. The boss thing is one thing for the casual guild it is boring, same sh** defriend day. Not many have the time today for a hardcore guild (school, work, family...a life to live etc.). It just all become somewhat the same, over and over again, boring after level 50. I love to explore in mmorpgs and it would be awesome if the game had some kind of exploring guild theme thing. It took me a few days (do to family, work, life) to reach level 50 and i loved it. Then the "join a guild" part happened. It just ruined the game for me. Sorry for bad english, i am not english
I haven’t tried pvp yet, but it seems like we need more PvE content, it’s difficult to transition from PvE to PvP but yet the targeting is definitely a pre development when the game was supposed to be lineage 3. I don’t like the mechanics I only playing it because of the artistic, the semi grind, and the community. Some people are assholes but I found some people really trying to keep it live with smaller guilds we do need more PvE content more rewarding and more content in PvE. What I don’t want is something like lost ark I tried it but I don’t like it

I've said it before and I'll say it again. T&L is dying because of the P2W. It's that simple. I keep seeing all these videos that come up with every other reason they can think of but it isn't any of these reasons. It's the PAY TO WIN. Come on guys, get real. Edit: Every single issue with the game actually stems directly from P2W. The zerg alliances, the unfair distribution of loot, et etc. It all stems from the same problem. If you haven't figured out yet, the way the stats on gear are designed is specifically done in a way that grossly encourages P2W. There is a reason why games like WoW or G2W (to name only a couple) do not create stat systems like the one you find in this game. It's because it's awful, impossible to balance, and when combined with purchased power, creates a P2W monster that cannot sustain a healthy player population in the long run. This game is a smash and grab. Only, sadly, due to the incredible quality, it will likely continue to sucker in new players for a long time to come while also farming the existing whales. Could have been one of GOATS, but it'll never be anything more than an insidious trap.
i wholeheartedly disagree that it's dying because of P2W, WoW also have P2W. although it's not as in your face and blatant as TnL. TnL suffers because of bugs, and lack of meaningful content. I don't see any reason for them to introduce the Rune system whatsoever, it's just bad decisions.

This is my first mmorpg...and i can say...i enjoy this game a lot ! 😀 ...why ? well the reason i play it ...its simple to understand...graphics are good...a lot of pvp to choose...dungeons are nice...guild+allied so a lot of teamwork 😃...also i dont need to play this game ...all days in a row...and i dont lose much...since the points and contracts stacks ( ^ _^ ) ...Of course...its not a perfect game...but for the reason i play it...its all good ! 😉

i only play pve. the pvp is not fun with the targeting system. janky movement and unbalanced abilities. pve is a lot of fun with the right people but its missing the backbone of any mmorpg. a dps meter.

I play in small guild we do Pve and I enjoy it ,but we can't compare to the big guilds and go in open fights. If they add more pve instead of pvp content, like battlegrounds 6v6 or 12v12, capture the flag or take the point, difrent arena and pvp rewards, Im leaving this game with no hesitation. Simply there is nothing to do in small pvp u got stomped by big guild zergs in open and thats not fun. Doing same arena all over and not getting any good rewards is discouraging :/

Exactly, the rewards for individuals in pvp are too modest. Not worthy for small individuals or small guilds to participate. They need to adjust immediately. In this day and age of needing haste and privacy, they Individuals should not be forced to depend on collective activities even though they are doing MMO, they need to change with the times.
Biggest issue I've run into with T&L is the "Scripters/Cheating" when 15 players are trying to kill a single player and that 1 player can take out 20-30 other players it makes you scratch your head. I'm over 3650CP and in PvP I get deleted in 1 second typically, maybe 2 seconds if they stun/slam then delete. but it's really weird. They don't seem to care about the scripters either. our castle siege was 4 guilds vs the rest of the server about 21 guilds. 8000+ kills for the defenders and 2159 kills for the rest of the server, most of those kills were against each other after we realized the defenders were cheating and taking 0 damage, teleporting around the map, and 1 shot'ing everything we just had a huge brawl among ourselves at least we could kill each other if we couldn't kill the defenders. I have several people in my alliance that posted videos but no one can find the videos they posted 2 days ago, it's like youtube is censoring their videos for some reason.

Only reason players base dropped is because global see Korea is having fun in the new map Area & tier 2 weapons,,,i think there is enough people who are geared enough right now I don’t see any reason why would they not give the people with the want and release what Korea server have.

It is normaly that many ppl left after the hype and the players what like the game will by. I’m sure the game will exist many years. Ncsoft and Amazon doing great job, bringing fast new content and many good changes because they listen to the community. If y don’t like the game go play another. I love the game and will play it 😊

You are just delusional if you state sth like "the combat system is good rn". Go and check Black Desert Online, where your movement on the character actually matters, where you have many, many skills to use depends on the situation etc.. And then come back to TnL where your character is heavily limited by 12 skills available to use at the same time, cooldowns, TAB-target (action combat mode is just a half-tabtarget). There are not i-frames, CC protections on most classes etc. Only Q block, which is clunky in dynamic combat.
combat system in TnL: just a good skill rotation, basic class knowledge and THE BEST GEAR YOU CAN GET to win
combat system in BDO: good skill rotation (excellent on some classes), excellent movement mid-fight, excellent APM (on some classes), excellent class knowledge, excellent skill management (so many skills, but only some of them are viable in each moment of the fight - in tnl you can just spam them one by one and generally it will be at least OK). Hehe, and in BDO the player does not need the best gear to beat opponent. Even way less geared player can beat the more geared one. In tnl it is not possible, the stats are too important :(
Sure, bdo is on the EU market for ~9 years now and devs added some unbalanced and simple to play classes to the game last years, but the combat system in general is very skill-dependant. On the other hand, unfortunately, the combat system in TnL is not about the player's skill, but rather about the player's gear. The is no or is very small room to outplay someone. Only in 1v1 it is possible. On the other hand, in BDO excellent player can beat 3, 4, 5 good players because he is excellent. In Tnl it is NOT POSSIBLE if opponents have 2 hands, mouse and keyboard.
So yes, the devs should be focues on making the PvP in tnl way more skill and movement dependant... But i don't think that they will fix it. They would need to remove tab-target and change it to full action combat game, it is possible only by making another game from the start.
