Nissan really nailed the design of new frontier. I love it! Also, glad it has heavy steering. Though, I wish it had a telescoping wheel for better comfort as I’m a shortie, haha. Awesome review as always 🤙
Just bought a NEW ..2023 SV Crew Cab 4x2.. Still had it on the LOT.. With the factory Packages .. MSRP was $40,095 .. Got it OTD for just a little under $36,000 Tactical Green .. Smoking Deal ! Thanks for the Video.. Terrific ..
same here. saved $5.000 from a like taco, my only wishes are a telo steering column, easier to reach lumbar adjuster, a set of bfg all terrains over the street michilens ,( i live in a snow belt at 1400 feet) option to have electric lockers in the SV, o-stink handles over the doors
Getting ready to purchase one. My 2013 Toyota Tacoma served me well, but was totalled in a rear-end collions two weeks ago. Looking forward to the Nissan!
I have basically the same truck in a '22 year model. I've owned it for about a year now. No complaints. At least nothing major. Some people might notice that the seating position changed while the truck was parked. You're just brushing the buttons with the inside of your leg while climbing in or out of the truck. Once in a blue moon the infotainment center tends to load up a bit slow as well. Granted mine is a '22 and they might've fixed that particularly gremlin for the '23 year model. All in all an amazing truck. If you want a turbocharged engine and a bunch of annoying touch screen and automated BS go buy a BMW. Or one of the GM twins, apparently. Otherwise get the Nissan. Dude's on point. It's awesome.
Went from a 2011 WRX to the 23 Frontier (exactly the same as the one you’re driving). I already love this truck as much or more than my Subaru. Can’t wait to try out 4x4 in the snow. Plus it’s a sharp looking truck. My wife has a 21 Rouge and I really liked the fit and finish of the interior, that’s what lead me to the frontier.
Congrats on the truck! How's it drive and the ride height? I am looking to buy my first truck and also switching from the Subaru world! 2011 Impreza Outback Sport hatchback.
I purchased a 23 SV Frontier and I like the truck , I just wish there was more aftermarket products for this truck. There are many accessories for the Tacoma and the Gladiator but it’s been a struggle to find nice custom wheels and other bed products for the Frontier. Nice overview on the truck.
Frontier= Crawl ratio 57:1 fully boxed titan frame (ability to titan swap suspension/engine) , Dana 44 locking rear (pro4x) , dana front diff, spicer transfer case, powerful vq motor, rear disc brakes, bullet proof and made in USA. Tacoma= 33:1 crawl ratio, C channel frame (on going corrosion frame recalls) , rear drum brakes, now made in Mexico, reliability declining and Toyota tax.
@@scott8238 Im.glad to hear that. I see a number of them being objective, saying the Nissan rides, handles, brakes, steers, accelerates, shifts , and quiets road noise better than the Toyota, and they conclude the Frontier is indeed better. Yet I've seen many that admit these things, yet they STILL say the old Tacoma is better because of "reliability" and resale. They just "assume" the Frontier won't be reliable i guess? I saw a 2007 on the web that went a million miles in Chicago, and Nissan bought the owner a new one. My old D21 is over 400k now. Freshened up the engine close to 300k, the rest is still OEM except the gear lube. I don't know where they got the idea that a Nissan truck won't last like a Toyota. PS, I have often tortured my truck with 1500 to 2000 lbs in the bed. The little Z24 pulls it with only 100 hp. Those new Frontiers must really go.
I like that it has decent headroom for a taller person and the seats are higher then in the Tacoma. I love the V6 instead of the 4 with a turbo which will be in the scrapyard after warranty is done.
I test drove the SV yesterday and I fit fine and I’m 6’ . I didn’t like the heavy steering feel. Even my 2017 F250 steering is lighter and more accurate.
I would buy one of these as a work truck for my catering business but I don't need a 300 plus horsepower V6! Why aren't they making a small four-cylinder or a hybrid. No one's making a work truck anymore
no ones making a work truck anymore? dude what on earth are you talking about? you absolutely could not be further from the truth. a v6 suits this vehicle especially being used as a work truck more then anything else. small four cylinders are too sluggish no one wants a lack of power in a bigger vehicle such as this especially if they pull a trailer from time to time. even turbo 4 cylinders there's a lot of debate in reliability of those engines that drives people away from buying them and its making a lot of people flock to this truck. at this point the v6 is a selling point. Nissan is the only brand that still has a v6 in their midsize truck. and as for the hybrid ......bud .. its a truck not a Prius. these things have never been known in the past to be fuel savers. even if they did put a hybrid in this vehicle you'd be lucky to see 3-4 mpg increase, it wouldn't be worth it for the cost and it just adds something else that can break. If you're looking for something with space that doesn't eat gas look at a crossover
My 2022 has been back to the dealer twice, once for a recall and again for a TSB issued by Nissan. I’m almost at the end of my lease and will be looking for a different brand mid-size truck soon…the vehicle while looks good is nothing special. I have the SV 4x4 with the convenience and technology package.
I love that Nissan kept all models the same regarding engine it’s so annoying having a charger and if it’s not a scat pack fucking demon people someone dislike them..

Love my 23 Frontier. I’ve owned at least 50 vehicles and this is the Goldilocks vehicle!
I agree. I love my Pro-4X and tend to switch vehicles out every two years. This one I plan to keep.

A friend of ours bought the Nissan Frontier. It looks great, rides well too. Thinking about getting one in the future.

Exactly how I feel. Such an amazing truck. And absolutely no after market products compared to the Tacoma and Gladiator.

Yet many reviews say the Toyota is still "better" somehow. How can they objectively say that?

Any insight for the over the hood view for us short people?
Love the frontier but all models should’ve come with the led lights this is 2023
I SO TOTALLY AGREE!!!
Outstanding presentation
Great job man!
If you still monitor your channel, does yours have heavy steering?
How long will it last?
When he started talking over the background music, it sounded like a rap song. Looking forward to the single!
Coming Soon! 💯😆
Can you do a blue frontier pro-x and. Pro -4 x does it come. In king cab this gold pony
The band music who is that band love the Nissan truck but also love intro music.?
Looks great
Manual transmission?
I wish, nothing comes in manual anymore.
Beautiful truck
Does anyone know if you can add on the fender flares to the SV model?
How comfortable would it be for a 6ft guy to sit in would it be tight

why wouldn't you buy a king cab if your a home owner...
all my Nissans were 6ft beds
In my case, car seat.
@@Pigeon__Man it's all 👍👍.
My 2005 Frontier was a crew cab, but it was a 6ft bed. The long bed dosen't get as many toys in it.

No AC vents in the backseats??
Backseat is useless unless your a midget or kid. Better off with the king cab and the 6’ bed.. the 5’ bed is useless also.

So nothing broke and nissan was good at preventative care? Do you expect to be taken seriously with this comment
I AM VERY INTERESTED IN A 5-SPEED STICK SHIFT, PLEASE!!!!!!!
I'M with you but please don't try holding your breath for that wish,
They could have easily carried over a 6 speed from the last Frontier.

Wait until you realize the paint magically disappears on the rear of the cab/front edge lip of the bed.
I've had mine for over a year. No issues so far
Your Mom didn’t name you “ Gold Pony “. 🤣
Haha she thought about it tho! 😆 just an old call of duty gamer tag my wife & I used to use that just kinda stuck 😁
That DI engine will be cartooned up in no time.
The interior quality can't be worse than the Ford Maverick truck.
I’d rather have the TITAN
