Great update! Love the long pipes on the '32, great choice! "I've got Quick Change on my mind," don't we all! Dear God, $900,000 for 600 square feet? Rooting for ya and will always support the channel! Go LGKustoms, keep moving forward!

There is another shop in our complex, 3400sqft for $1.8 million 😩

A well-mounted lift could also be a good anchor for pulling projects, an adjustable mount for your frame table, a freight elevator to your mezzanine, an adjustable anvil, etc. Glad I could finally get one, my old back & knees appreciate it. You will love yours
Best wishes to you and the family. Carl, TX

Thanks for the shop tour. You’ve done well with the space you have, the addition of a hoist is really going to help out. Seems you have thought out the placement of it. Videos at your schedule is best for us to get the best from you. Better good videos than many about nothing. 👍

I think I’ve said it before Lee. Pop a video out when your ready no pressure to keep to a tight deadline. I’m sure all who follow your channel appreciate your time. Your laid back manner and great explanation of what you do will keep your loyal followers happy. Be lucky, and happy. Best wishes to you Shannon and lux. And of course Doris.

After working for over ten without a hoist, the new shop came with a hoist and it is super handy! You ideally of placement look like it should work out well. Watch your head though.

I’ve owned hoists in the past. Two post and four post, and definitely hit my head a few times on them. But it’s mostly the lower back pain from always reaching up when working a full day

When I started working at ard local garage when I was 15 geez that seems so long ago. The roof had a drop in it so you always had to have the bonnet closed when you lifted the car. Yep one day a fellow came and was talking away and I lifted the car bonnet open. You definitely need space around a lift.

Thanks for the update - your videos are always enjoyable - knowledgeable and worth the wait - love the little guy roaming around the shop - know were your at - remember bigger shop does not always equate to more profit etc - a video every 2nd or 3rd week is worth the wait - it’s your content that sets you apart 😎😎

True. At the end of the day, I can only work so many hours, whether I have lots of space or minimal space.

I feel your frustration Lee, time management is key and shop space is priority, have you looked at car lift storage or a container tent in your parking spot for your stuff and future projects, great tour of the shop, Good luck with the restoration, it should be a good looking unit. Cheers.

I’ve casually been watching marketplace for a tin roofed car shelter. May build one some day too. Again, it’s a time issue. The days just go by so fast. It feels like August was last weekend haha

Yea. I’ve had hoists before. They’re definitely nice. But I don’t mind jack stands and a creeper either. My creeper is comfy haha

People don't realize how much taxes and property is thats why most shops have to charge what they do just to survive, I've owned a shop for about 20 years love being my own boss , but there is always pros and cons ...keep up the good work brother!!!

Question, Lee; will the heat from those side pipes damage the upholstered running boards on the '32?
I would assume you've already got something in mind, to prevent that.

    • @LGKustoms

It’s insane how much they are asking for that shop next door.
Could you expand the upholstery loft to add more storage and room for the powder coating setup?
It is very hard to put out videos on a consistent basis. Better to have quality videos every two weeks than not at all.
    I’d like to start again.

10:41 Can't you go to Home Depot/Lowes and buy hard foam board with foil backing and put that on the door?

That 57 sure is clean, can I ask where you get the blasting done? up here in Nanaimo I can't find anyone, years ago I had a Sunbeam Tiger dipped at Ready Strip in Vic but they are ancient history, showing my age that was before my first son was born he's 32 now.

There's a shop called Blast It down here in Vic, they've got a car sized booth.

Thanks for the update. Yes, it is a quiet drizzly after last nights downpour. I've been attempting to deter rodents from my wiring. Just replaced a second wire harness from the original. 😢

Several actually. I stock a fair amount of stuff from Roadster Supply available for resale.
I also buy a lot from So-Cal Surrey and Performance World. Occasionally I’ll order stuff from Welder Series too.
