There is a lot to like with this grill, the question is which one should you get? Should you get the 285 Travel Q or the 285 PRO. What we are going to do is explain the upgrades between the regular 285 and the PRO and hopefully this will help you decide which one you want to get. It basically works like the regular grill in every way. The cart is fully collapsable and really is a great design if you are on the move and take it one the go, the grill folds up in less then 10 seconds. The pro does have 2 major upgrades. The first is the hood is taller and a little beefier. That allows for more real estate within the grill itself, so you can fit more food vertically. The second is the grill comes equipped with a full size propane tank hook up. So it can accommodate a full size tank or a portable 1 pound tank as well. So that's it! Hope you enjoyed

I appreciate the time you took to making a 5 minute video. I do. But that could have been summed up with a taller lid to fit taller foods and it comes with a 1 lbs to 20 lbs propane tank hose. Because you can buy that hose for $20 at any number of places and also works with the TQ285, the the higher cost gets you a taller lid exclusively.

Luv the Napoleon travelq scissor cart. Weekday quick meals. Crank it up to 700 degrees for excellent steaks. 3/4 mins per side for 1 & 1/2 inch medium / medium wells.

I don't really grill but this was easy to carry and bring with me camping as a backup in case ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxTAV04Wwc8vZvciP7ycqR1S4raCS0TnUc I couldn't get a fire going. In my opinion it is better to bring a charcoal grill instead of a gas grill as a backup because if it rains or the leaves around are still damp from a recent rain; you can use the charcoal to help your fire keep going even though a gas grill is easier to temp control with. Overall, pleased with my purchase.

Is there a drip tray for grease? How is it for cooking
Perhaps the biggest difference that I didn’t hear mentioned here is the lid on the Pro is cast aluminum versus stamped metal for the regular version. This makes a big difference in heat retention and turns the unit into something that can actually perform pretty well for things beyond burgers and steaks. It also makes the lid quite a bit stronger (though heavier). The lid on the Blue regular version also has a problem with the finish flaking off.

Is the cart available for purchase seperately? Was looking for something like this for my go anywhere grill the cart design is perfect (I'd put a sheet of metal. In the center to attach the grill via bungee cords)
no you have to order it one way or the other. Either a table top or a cart unfortunately. If you want something like that I would take a look at the everdure Force!

I’ve done it. Denmark is just being anal, as usual. Direct connect it, don’t use the hose.
