Retinol has been proven to improve fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and large pores but it’s best to start gradually into the skincare routine, applying over dry skin, once the serum/toner you’ve applied is fully dry on the skin. Ensure you’re only applying a pea sized amount and spreading it all over and religiously using SPF the next day. It is be used in the nighttime only.
Retinol is not pregnancy and breast feeding safe.
Routine I talked about :
1️⃣. Washing with the gentle cleanser for your own skin type. Avoid scrubs and soaps. (AM PM - DAILY)
2️⃣. Toning or adding a serums that have humectants that hold water in the skin. This could have ingredients like niacinamide, hyaluronic, peptide, glycerin etc. (AM PM - DAILY)
3️⃣. Gradually introducing retinol using a pea sized amount on face and neck. (PM - 1 to 4 times a week)
4️⃣. Exfoliate and provide the skin with rest days. ( PM - 1 to 3 nights a week).
5️⃣. Add an antioxidant serum and sunscreen in the daytime routine. (AM - DAILY)

Ok here me out I'm in my early 20's (22 to be exact)
Day-
1. Cleanser
2. Vitamin c moisturizer
3. Sunscreen.
Night -
1. Cleanser
2. Niacinamide scrum ( 2-3 times a week)
3. Moisturizer.
I've acne prone skin with pigmentation. Is it good enough? I don't wanna add too much
If it's work for you then it's ok but which vitamin c moisturizer you use?
I recommend vitamin c serum than a Moisturizer because serum concentration is helpful for treating pigmentation like 10%-15%
And also please try to double cleanse your face in nights because you use sunscreen and it's important to remove the sunscreen

Hey I've been using derma co salicylic acid 2% serum for almost 5 months now. it works really well on my comedonal acne. I first layer my skin with cos rx snail mucin before applying any serum so it doesn't dry out my skin and purge. hope it helps.
