Tom S. and I don't see eye to eye politically, so much respect to him for calling out this garbage. I love the disdain in his voice when he says "the licorice stick..."
Probably because Opie and Anthony had a ton of actual racism, so it felt weird for them to "call out" Billy Crystal for it. Tom is an actual decent human being. (I also listened to O&A for years as well, so not judging lol)
@@anklebreaker9044 - Same, I also listened for years. It sucks that Ant is such a racist piece of shit. Also, this clip makes me want to beat Billy Crystal with the stiff part of a traffic cone.

I saw him last night on the Tonight Show, and he has become one of those old entertainers who endlessly prattles on and on about every single bit of minutiae in a story, total diahrrea of the mouth. It took him over 5 minutes to tell a 30 second anecdote that was already stale and overused.
The comments from 6 years ago and beyond 😂😂😂😂 Racist AF in 2022 And I’m all for open comedy, but a white Jewish fella doing a horrible black voice is cringing. I think more than racist, because we all know Billy isn’t racist, but it’s tasteless.
Billy Cystal and Tom Scharpling to me are both funny. I'm not a fucking snob or someone who thinks the schmaltzy parts of Crystal's persona is all he is.

So your problem is that he is Jewish, and not black, and cannot play a black character? Do no people not talk like that? Do you have any racially charged antic dotes of him saying racist things while not doing a comedy act? Your case for racism is weak, and as awesome as Willie Nelson is(not THE Willie Nelson), you are a comedian and should be able to take a joke and see what imitation is, the highest form of flattery.

nothing particularly funny here, just a very white guy feigning passive vanilla outrage. also worth noting that Opie & Anthony did this bit a day earlier with one slight difference: funny. Opie & Anthony: Billy Crystal, The Jazz Man
Billy Crystal will pay for his crimes in The Hague.
This shit got me in the mood for a chain fight

New Orleans has a strange accent; it’s not purely Southern. There is a lot of NY/NJ in it. White people talk like that down there.
@@iVenge Yeah, that's fairly accurate, but again, completely superfluous.
Well thanks, now I feel physically ill.
Billy Crystal : “HEY IM HERE ! ... FUNNY, RIGHT? HUH? YAH? YA? Y-A-A-A-A!”
THIS WENT ON FOR 15 MINUTES ?!?!?! I didn’t think he could sink any lower than “you look mmmmmmmmmmmyavelous!”
holy shit is that an AIM notification at 5:19?!?
"Audio Blackface" should be the name of a terribly inappropriate band.
The racism here is crystal clear.
There were plenty of ACTUAL living people with Katrina horror stories. Fiction and verbal black face is SO uncalled-for.
If we are calling out “verbal blackface”, when will John Fogerty be held accountable for his CCR work? It’s ridiculous 😂
I've seen the O&A one multiple times but this slayed me for some reason.

The Jazz Man married Marjorie Taylor-Greene?!

You might not say "everybody who plays a clarinet is an idiot" so I will, "everybody who plays a clarinet is an idiot"
Benny Goodman would beg to differ, but he's probably an idiot.
SO brilliant
These older comments are disgusting! Tom is hilarious, but the clarinet is a beautiful instrument, sir!!!!
FoT forever!
That Tom is hilarious is a claim in need of evidence.
Scharpling looks like Mick Molloy in that photo
FUGGIN bahahahaha !

Jack Burton yeah you cut down 700 sundays to actual material and it’s about 14 jokes in a 90 min show or whatever
14 is too high, I think 8 is the real count
Can you dig that?
oh boy
"No terlets..." hahahahah
Billy Crystal should go shop for a coffin
Toierlet
Audio blackface.
Mockingboids!
What episode is this? good stuff.
Billy Crystal and Robin Williams seem to be the comedians that comedians hate the most. 😂
Will Billy Crystal do his "Jazzman" for a Harvey relief benefit? Just switch Houston for New Orleans, and Trump for Bush.
Disliked video for Billy Crystals, not Tom
+Lachlan Keeley That's not how it's supposed to work.

I agree he is a national treasure, he should be buried.
