Yes. The fact is, that no research has been done on the negative long term effects, such as infertility. But the GBC writes, (on point five) that „there is currently no evidence, that any of the covid19 vaccines cause fertility problems or alter DNA“ „This is propaganda. This is not how a brahmana speaks. The absence of a proof, does not prove the absence" (in this case the absence of the harm that it could probably do to our dear devotees). And Im not speaking of the numerous scientists that claim to know that theses vaccines will cause harm.
In Feb 2020 after coming back from India through Korea. I was scared that I might have had COVID and was going to give it to my dad who comes for the l.a devotees and he was going give to everyone and all the devotees would die. That was worse case scenario. And if that was the case then rapidly every devotee would go to Krishna cause that's what he would want. So my anxiety subsided. Which allowed me to see how everyone was posting about COVID and all the deaths and all the corperations were saying stay home. I saw what was going on cause of the sripatis point on death.
Ultimately, I do not trust pharmaceutical companies and governments. I remember hearing a conversation with Srila Prabhupada. Some senior devotees where asking about varnashrama education. They asked him "Should we teaching how to be a vaishya?"...Srila Prabhupada's reply was "why should we teaching cheating?". Big pharm is a business. They spend more than any other industry in advertising. That means media companies' revenue comes largely from them. Why would a for profit media company do negative reporting on big pharma? they would lose their revenue.

Yes! I agree. It was really nice to hear from this devotee... Mostly because I am trying to break the habit of coffee-drinking to which I have become fully addicted, loving it as a stable ritual for the morning for whatever boredom of grhasta life I am experiencing! Anyway, this devotee spoke the truth of MAHA MANTRA's power to help us in that way. And, just to make a point on this point, when I quit caffeine (in the past), I vomit for a couple of days because the substance has such a stronghold of my body and mind. BUT, the Tucson devotees allowed me to stay with them in their temple once and I detoxed from caffeine by going to morning aarti and chanting in the temple with the other devotees 16 rounds. I passed through the detox without vomiting AND with no headache. and that is verifiable. Of course, I also had Prasadam and very pure water that the devotees provided but I am a healthy eater and I drink lots of water and still, in the past, I vomited. So, I also verify the MAHA MANTRA to break self-destructive habits. And, about this covid stuff. WE ARE ALL INTELLIGENT and can go to old newspapers if necessary and see how things were always "THE BIG THING, THE NEXT BEST THING" and we see that lies are always spread in textbooks and schools and institutions. And then, with time, the truth comes out. So this current circumstance is no different. And I know that these companies made poison they passed off as medicine in the past and had the bureaucrats/organizations sign off on all of it and then the truth comes out. Sitapati is super impressive and so quick on his feet. Great interview, let's hope that it has more views that YT says. It is extremely disappointing that ISKCON leadership has taken such an evil position, but Sitapati is absolutely right to direct them back to the Gita and to Prabhupada. I didn't even know Prabhupada said the moon landing is fake, but that is 100% correct, the more you read Prabhupada the more you discover a real voice for truth--if only the ISKCON leadership still reflected his wisdom and not the agenda of those who indeed seek to transform this world into an absolute totalitarian tyrannical prison system. If nothing else, it is encouraging that the organization still has people like Sitapati in it though, really smart, pious individuals who fully embody the teachings of the Gita. Otherwise, I think seeing stuff like ISKCON's vaccine position would prevent genuine truth-seekers from ever considering these devotees as a source of fellowship and authentic spirituality.
Actually, in The Science of Self-Realization, Prabhupada does indicate he believes scientists landed on the moon (p.154-155) and speaks of them only bringing back rocks and dust. Where does he claim that no one went to the moon? Feeling disappointed here!! Granting that Sitapati probably did read those claims about the moon landing somewhere (but where???), I can only assume that while Prabhupada was skeptical of the moon landing, perhaps due to uncertainty he was still willing to use the alleged event for pedagogical purposes. At least he notes many times in that book that scientists are rascals--which they ARE!

I went down the rabbit hole researching scientific studies when I had to decide whether or not to vaccinate my children. After reading the history of each vaccine, I became skeptical of the entire concept of vaccines being "safe and effective" .
Brilliant - and very much in the spirit of Srila Prabhupada. It made me miss Srila Prabhupada even more. He would have corrected the GBC - as he often did during his life time on earth. Thank you for keeping up his spirit.
Great interview, thanks to both! So much corollary knowledge as well, on the process of deciphering what is knowledge and how it can be analyzed - then accepted or rejected as true or false. On Prabhupada's morning walks with Swarupa Damodar (then a brahmacari, later sannyasi and guru) who held a PhD in organic chemistry, Prabhupada focused on freeing his disciples from our gullibility that all scientific theories should be accepted without question. Science of today, has been primarily focused and weaponized for profit and power, by those who fund research in universities and privately. Funders are private mega-corporations and governmental agencies. HH Swarupa Damodar did an interview with Sri Roger Penrose in the early 2000's. When he asked Penrose (who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2020) what advise he had for those starting their research careers in science, Penrose offered that one should research new areas that weren't being covered by most, but if doing so, it would be very difficult to find funding or a job, as all the money for research comes from special interest groups. Sad but true. Specifically talking about the vaccines in this murky scientific arena, the suppression of qualified dissenting opinion, effected by the government and media collusion which has now come to light in 2023, thinking for oneself and doing research in spite of what self-appointed and self-interested "authorities" tell us, is all the more critical - in both science and spiritual life.

I had sent the link to this video for all my contacts. That's what one of them replied: Thank you, this was so much needed to hear. He has voiced most of what i had been feeling about this movement. Only yesterday i said to another devotee that no Guru appears to be carrying out Praphupada teachings concerning whats happening. So this is not encouraging me to think about taking initiation. I will always keep the philosophy in my heart, but this institution i may be walking away from in the future. This Prabhu has given me hope. I pray the two of them do not suffer any repurcussion from this podcast. 🙏☺️🤗🙏 Many devotees feel similar, Iskcon's official position doesn't create faith in the heart of any indendently thoughtful devotee who seriously wants to follow Srila Prabhupad. Srila Prabhupada told us just by reading his books your initiated by him when you start following his instructions. Srila Prabhupada lives forever in his books (the future generations must preserved the original writings). Srila Prabhupada always said he was never alone, his guru was there, same with Srila Prabhupada with us. Everything he did is here now, books, lectures, music , even the gayatri mantra he spoke word by word. Iskcon today surely isn't the potent Iskcon when Srila Prabhupada was here, the sinister elements took over. Research "Event 201" planned pandemics/lockdowns for the "depopulation agenda" using "experimental vaccines," proving Srila Prabhupada was correct about the sinister elements running and controlling everything (including Iskcon if they failed to follow his instructions).
And please look to Prahladananda Swami's interview on the same channel here. He is of the same opinion as SitaPati prabhu. He was ISKCON's health minister for over 20 years but was recently replaced by allopathic doctors who are pushing the vaccine agenda. No discussion was allowed or entertained. The demons of Big Pharma have taken over ISKCON and are going to kill and maim 1000s of devotees by recomending this experimental gene therapy.

Thank you both for an invigorating 90 minutes. Whether one is pro or con vaccine, this conversation is for you! The points made and questions raised, can be applied to so many aspects of dealing with material bodies. This conversation relates to so much more that Covid or how to deal with it. I highly recommend this podcast to everyone, regardless of your stance on either C-19 or the V. I applaud Sitapati prabhu in his effort to help us all (intelligently and spiritually) understand the complexity of our personal decisions, rather than simply accepting a directive without question.

To those commenting that they will just "do their own research" and make a decision based on that, how are you so confident in your research abilities? What are you equating your potential level of expertise in an area to? I get concerned when people think they can "do their own research" and be as informed about an issue as people who have actually formally studied a field. Whether that field is epidemiology or bhakti shastri, we have to have faith in experts. If prabhu is asking each of us to verify information for themselves, what use do we have for a guru? There is no gold medal for being "edgy" or "not politically correct". Taking a contrarian position is not a personality trait. I have trouble believing that someone is consistent in their use of skepticism when they are only skeptical of issues that make the news. We don't question traffic lanes, red lines, malaria tablets, planes, using WiFi, etc . . . yet we follow these injunctions. I think it's an oversimplification to think the media/politicians/scientists are polar opposite to spirituality. And with all due respect, prabhu is benefiting from living freely in Australia, which has barely any COVID cases and deaths since they went into an ACTUAL lockdown. He has literally seen peak totalitarianism and come out in a country basically unscathed. Namarasa prabhu, I really hope you get a devotee epidemiologist/physician panel after this. I would also like to see Sitapati prabhu speak with Chaitanya Charan das.
Be sure that Sitapati Prabhu did his research and he did it well. The question is if you have done your own, especially from the perspective that you are not your body and that finally Krsna is our only shelter? People don't even know their own bodies, they don't know how strong their immune system is, so most people are in fear, because what they do know is that they are not taking care of their bodies. So they need somebody else to tell them and even more to do something with their bodies. Vaccination is convenient and fast solution. It might work for some, if that is their karma. But I doubt that most people have a karma like that, otherwise they would be reach, famous, healthy and happy.

I would question the notion that a recommendation to get a vaccine comes from a prioritization of the body, coming from a fear of death. Good medical advice and practice can also come from a position of bhakti - how can one serve Krishna properly when debilitated by illness? Chapter 6 Dhyana-Yoga speaks directly to this idea. Krishna may be our only salvation, but Krishna granted us with responsibilities and intelligence in the material world too. Furthermore, if I have no reason to fear death, I should consequently have no reason to fear a vaccine. The unfortunate part of vaccines is that they are victims of their own success. When populations were falling dead from smallpox and polio, there was no hesitation. When these diseases are eradicated, we take for granted the innovation.

It depends in which countries ISKCON is taking a position on getting vaccinated. These are countries where institutions are running into problems. Just like when Prabhupada wanted to enter Africa they said without yellow fever vaccination you can't enter. So Prabhupada took the vaccination because it was for preaching.
PRABHUPADA AND VACCINATIONS Harikesa prabhu: We were going from Mauritius to South Africa so we needed to have yellow fever shots, and Prabhupada had never had one in his whole life because he would never take any shots. But you could not go to a doctor and just have him stamp the card, you actually had to get the shot and actually have them sign that you got the shot. So Prabhupada refused to get the shot and he said, “Somehow or another get me that card,” and then he had this little smile on his face. So then I said to Pusta Krishna, “OK, let’s go.” Then he said, “What are we going to do?” I said, “We’re going to get the shots ourselves and do something.” He said, “Ah.” So we went downtown and Pusta Krishna takes Prabhupada’s card for shots, and he gets the shot and when the man asks him for his name he says, “Bhaktivedanta Swami.” And then he asked him for date of birth. So then Pusta Krishna says, “I forgot.” And the man said, “You forgot?” Then at that time I’m sitting just two rows up and saying, “Oh, God, we’re in trouble now.” So all of a sudden I start chanting, “Hare Krishna!” I’m chanting and I’m doing this ecstasy thing. And the guy is looking around, he said, “What’s going on?” He says, “You don’t remember?” And Pusta Krishna says, “I can’t remember anything anymore. It’s so confusing, all this chanting, I don’t remember anything anymore,” and I’m just going on and on and on making a whole scene. Finally the guy said, “Well, when you remember, write it on the card.” He said, “Yeah, I sure will.” Then we went back and we wrote in 1896. We told Prabhupada what we did, and he was laughing and laughing.

Geat podcast. I think Sita-Pati articulated what a lot of people were thinking and what a few people are saying privately. I'm glad he put it out there and put down a philosophical challenge. Also I think we use the word "devotee" very loosely out of respect. Even most who are initiated are still aspiring devotees. It does seem to me to that putting out statements and using the term "Medical Devotee Doctors" is dishonest.

And, just to make a point on this point, when I quit caffeine (in the past), I vomit for a couple of days because the substance has such a stronghold of my body and mind. BUT, the Tucson devotees allowed me to stay with them in their temple once and I detoxed from caffeine by going to morning aarti and chanting in the temple with the other devotees 16 rounds. I passed through the detox without vomiting AND with no headache. and that is verifiable. Of course, I also had Prasadam and very pure water that the devotees provided but I am a healthy eater and I drink lots of water and still, in the past, I vomited. So, I also verify the MAHA MANTRA to break self-destructive habits. And, about this covid stuff. WE ARE ALL INTELLIGENT and can go to old newspapers if necessary and see how things were always "THE BIG THING, THE NEXT BEST THING" and we see that lies are always spread in textbooks and schools and institutions. And then, with time, the truth comes out. So this current circumstance is no different. And I know that these companies made poison they passed off as medicine in the past and had the bureaucrats/organizations sign off on all of it and then the truth comes out. To deny that simply means a person is in bewilderment and has lost all intelligence. THANKS NAM FOR THE POD! blessings brother
Sitapati is super impressive and so quick on his feet. Great interview, let's hope that it has more views that YT says. It is extremely disappointing that ISKCON leadership has taken such an evil position, but Sitapati is absolutely right to direct them back to the Gita and to Prabhupada. I didn't even know Prabhupada said the moon landing is fake, but that is 100% correct, the more you read Prabhupada the more you discover a real voice for truth--if only the ISKCON leadership still reflected his wisdom and not the agenda of those who indeed seek to transform this world into an absolute totalitarian tyrannical prison system. If nothing else, it is encouraging that the organization still has people like Sitapati in it though, really smart, pious individuals who fully embody the teachings of the Gita. Otherwise, I think seeing stuff like ISKCON's vaccine position would prevent genuine truth-seekers from ever considering these devotees as a source of fellowship and authentic spirituality.
Actually, in The Science of Self-Realization, Prabhupada does indicate he believes scientists landed on the moon (p.154-155) and speaks of them only bringing back rocks and dust. Where does he claim that no one went to the moon? Feeling disappointed here!! Granting that Sitapati probably did read those claims about the moon landing somewhere (but where???), I can only assume that while Prabhupada was skeptical of the moon landing, perhaps due to uncertainty he was still willing to use the alleged event for pedagogical purposes. At least he notes many times in that book that scientists are rascals--which they ARE!
Unfortunately so many were captured by 'the agenda'. The covid era was part of The Great Awakening.
I 100% agree. If we follow Prabhupada's teachings, we must follow what he shared, not make things up as we go.

I went down the rabbit hole researching scientific studies when I had to decide whether or not to vaccinate my children. After reading the history of each vaccine, I became skeptical of the entire concept of vaccines being "safe and effective" .
When you dig into the history of the entire Big Pharmaceutical industry, you will probably get sceptical too.

Great interview, thanks to both! So much corollary knowledge as well, on the process of deciphering what is knowledge and how it can be analyzed - then accepted or rejected as true or false. On Prabhupada's morning walks with Swarupa Damodar (then a brahmacari, later sannyasi and guru) who held a PhD in organic chemistry, Prabhupada focused on freeing his disciples from our gullibility that all scientific theories should be accepted without question. Science of today, has been primarily focused and weaponized for profit and power, by those who fund research in universities and privately. Funders are private mega-corporations and governmental agencies. HH Swarupa Damodar did an interview with Sri Roger Penrose in the early 2000's. When he asked Penrose (who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2020) what advise he had for those starting their research careers in science, Penrose offered that one should research new areas that weren't being covered by most, but if doing so, it would be very difficult to find funding or a job, as all the money for research comes from special interest groups. Sad but true. Specifically talking about the vaccines in this murky scientific arena, the suppression of qualified dissenting opinion, effected by the government and media collusion which has now come to light in 2023, thinking for oneself and doing research in spite of what self-appointed and self-interested "authorities" tell us, is all the more critical - in both science and spiritual life.

Many devotees feel similar, Iskcon's official position doesn't create faith in the heart of any indendently thoughtful devotee who seriously wants to follow Srila Prabhupad. It severly damaged my own faith in the movement, created some inner distance that is difficult to overcome. Looks like it's time to talk about with my Guru-Maharaja😏
Srila Prabhupada told us just by reading his books your initiated by him when you start following his instructions. Srila Prabhupada lives forever in his books (the future generations must preserved the original writings).
Srila Prabhupada always said he was never alone, his guru was there, same with Srila Prabhupada with us. Everything he did is here now, books, lectures, music , even the gayatri mantra he spoke word by word.
Iskcon today surely isn't the potent Iskcon when Srila Prabhupada was here, the sinister elements took over.
Research "Event 201" planned pandemics/lockdowns for the "depopulation agenda" using "experimental vaccines," proving Srila Prabhupada was correct about the sinister elements running and controlling everything (including Iskcon if they failed to follow his instructions).
And please look to Prahladananda Swami's interview on the same channel here. He is of the same opinion as SitaPati prabhu. He was ISKCON's health minister for over 20 years but was recently replaced by allopathic doctors who are pushing the vaccine agenda. No discussion was allowed or entertained. The demons of Big Pharma have taken over ISKCON and are going to kill and maim 1000s of devotees by recomending this experimental gene therapy.
They have slogans we have slokas, that's the difference between us and them.

To those commenting that they will just "do their own research" and make a decision based on that, how are you so confident in your research abilities? What are you equating your potential level of expertise in an area to?
I get concerned when people think they can "do their own research" and be as informed about an issue as people who have actually formally studied a field. Whether that field is epidemiology or bhakti shastri, we have to have faith in experts. If prabhu is asking each of us to verify information for themselves, what use do we have for a guru?
There is no gold medal for being "edgy" or "not politically correct". Taking a contrarian position is not a personality trait. I have trouble believing that someone is consistent in their use of skepticism when they are only skeptical of issues that make the news. We don't question traffic lanes, red lines, malaria tablets, planes, using WiFi, etc . . . yet we follow these injunctions. I think it's an oversimplification to think the media/politicians/scientists are polar opposite to spirituality. And with all due respect, prabhu is benefiting from living freely in Australia, which has barely any COVID cases and deaths since they went into an ACTUAL lockdown. He has literally seen peak totalitarianism and come out in a country basically unscathed.
Namarasa prabhu, I really hope you get a devotee epidemiologist/physician panel after this. I would also like to see Sitapati prabhu speak with Chaitanya Charan das.
Be sure that Sitapati Prabhu did his research and he did it well. The question is if you have done your own, especially from the perspective that you are not your body and that finally Krsna is our only shelter? People don't even know their own bodies, they don't know how strong their immune system is, so most people are in fear, because what they do know is that they are not taking care of their bodies. So they need somebody else to tell them and even more to do something with their bodies. Vaccination is convenient and fast solution. It might work for some, if that is their karma. But I doubt that most people have a karma like that, otherwise they would be reach, famous, healthy and happy.

I would question the notion that a recommendation to get a vaccine comes from a prioritization of the body, coming from a fear of death. Good medical advice and practice can also come from a position of bhakti - how can one serve Krishna properly when debilitated by illness? Chapter 6 Dhyana-Yoga speaks directly to this idea. Krishna may be our only salvation, but Krishna granted us with responsibilities and intelligence in the material world too. Furthermore, if I have no reason to fear death, I should consequently have no reason to fear a vaccine.
The unfortunate part of vaccines is that they are victims of their own success. When populations were falling dead from smallpox and polio, there was no hesitation. When these diseases are eradicated, we take for granted the innovation.

They are actually IN the experimental stage, but are being promoted as safe and effective, and that is what Sitapati is trying to communicate, i.e., the lying propaganda and using the fear of death as a (very effective) tool for pushing the demoniac narrative.
Darcy Bhaiwala all the experts who would agree with Sitapati have been censored from UA-cam so you will not easily find the experts who speak negatively about these injections. That should raise a red flag for anyone one with common sense. There are so many doctors who tirelessly researched the technology of these injections and agree that they should stop being used. If you sincerely want to find out what they have to say just head over to Bitchute.com and find videos of Dr. Tenpenny. There are also videos of her with other Drs. who give their expert opinions.

She has been stripped of all her medical licenses because her sources have been discredited by scientific consensus and individual investigation. She has zero lab or research experience, and has no basis to make these claims.
Unfortunately people who believe in conspiracy theories are not always open to the possibility that they may be wrong. If doctors actually had a contrary idea worth debating they would get published in a peer-reviewed journal, not put a UA-cam video somewhere. Stay blessed, haribol.

It depends in which countries ISKCON is taking a position on getting vaccinated. These are countries where institutions are running into problems. Just like when Prabhupada wanted to enter Africa they said without yellow fever vaccination you can't enter. So Prabhupada took the vaccination because it was for preaching.

We were going from Mauritius to South Africa so we needed to have yellow fever shots, and Prabhupada had never had one in his whole life because he would never take any shots. But you could not go to a doctor and just have him stamp the card, you actually had to get the shot and actually have them sign that you got the shot.
So Prabhupada refused to get the shot and he said, “Somehow or another get me that card,” and then he had this little smile on his face. So then I said to Pusta Krishna, “OK, let’s go.” Then he said, “What are we going to do?” I said, “We’re going to get the shots ourselves and do something.” He said, “Ah.”
So we went downtown and Pusta Krishna takes Prabhupada’s card for shots, and he gets the shot and when the man asks him for his name he says, “Bhaktivedanta Swami.” And then he asked him for date of birth. So then Pusta Krishna says, “I forgot.” And the man said, “You forgot?”
Then at that time I’m sitting just two rows up and saying, “Oh, God, we’re in trouble now.” So all of a sudden I start chanting, “Hare Krishna!” I’m chanting and I’m doing this ecstasy thing. And the guy is looking around, he said, “What’s going on?” He says, “You don’t remember?” And Pusta Krishna says, “I can’t remember anything anymore. It’s so confusing, all this chanting, I don’t remember anything anymore,” and I’m just going on and on and on making a whole scene.
Finally the guy said, “Well, when you remember, write it on the card.” He said, “Yeah, I sure will.” Then we went back and we wrote in 1896. We told Prabhupada what we did, and he was laughing and laughing.
