I wonder how many people tried his thirty day plan?
I think it’s hard to fail when you are proactively selling your services.
Sending emails, making phone calls and following up.
I bet this is why most people don’t become entrepreneurs, no one likes rejection.

Yet it leaves so many opportunities on the table. I remember when I started out in business I had nothing to offer so
I went to chamber of commerce and just asked what people were doing. Getting to know them gave me my first clients !

The owner is a salesperson. At first and for a while. Hire somebody for God's sake. Keep selling even when the work piles up. Sales is a numbers game. Hiring is too. Be ruthless with yourself in the hiring process. Keep selling. Keep the prices high.

I'm thankful you just said you built the scrapiest programs first and polished it afterwards because that's what I did! I just kept creating based on what my market was asking me for after messing up and trying to give them something they didn't ask for.....now I'm polishing it up while creating a solid long term coaching system! Very simple yet very powerful. Thank you.

As a digital marketing specialist covering Google My Business, PPC (Google & Bing) Video Marketing UA-cam SEO plus UA-cam ads and Website SEO including landing pages and optimal website conversions, you have just opened my eyes, presently clients come to me through recommendation, often this brings in clients that require more work than we would want to put in (that sounds strange and would take some explaining) but they can be costly because we have a guaranteed page one of Google program for: (website numerous search phrases) plus 1-3 in GMB plus a video on page one plus internal niche down pages produce a second website result on page one. I have worked this into a systematic process that works every time, so growth, then coaching has got to be the plan (1 to many coaching) Sam you are a total inspiration. So I have that proof of concept - let's go!

    • @unoefxz

what he is saying is that, you could look at peoples landscaping and let them know you have suggestions on how to fix it up properly. That is "consulting" and then you pay the company that you currently work for to go do the job. so basically it is sales but you are selling what you know, not what you do.

    • @unoefxz

or both. It is called starting a business. any business.. even a pizza shop. so, what he sells is a plan to learn to sell something.. idk.. it all sounds good but it is no new concept in business at all.

The 30-day plan assumes that I know something about websites: what's wrong with them and how to fix them. I don't know that.
    - - -
"If you've done something in a small sample and it's worked, a believable plan is to scale that thing up."
I haven't done something in a small sample that's ever worked. I don't know what something to do.
No something. No small scale. No believable plan to scale up.
    - - -
"You only want to focus and block everything else out once it's committed to work, really. It might just be proven at a very small scale, but you want it to be proven so that you know that you're putting all your time, effort and attention into something that's actually going to do something. It's hard to believe that when you haven't seen any sort of feedback from the market. ... Until you find the thing that's giving you that feedback, you shouldn't be too focused on one thing. You need to be open to new ideas, to experiment, and things like that."

    • @cheenouyang6815
      @cheenouyang6815 6 років тому +7

Alex Cruise Have you tried changing your message? This problem usually happens because the message in the email isn't resonating with the people who you are sending it to. Your message must hit the prospect's pain points and stir some type of emotion from them. If it's not resonating, they will simply ignore it. And if you are just sending random emails to random people, it won't work either. You have to select "one" group of people with similar traits and problems so that when you send them a message, it is more likely to hit a pain point. I don't know your situation very well but Sam's method works pretty well if you do it correctly. You should try it again.

What was the one woman’s objection?
Sounds like maybe the offer was not in demand. Your product or service honestly is not what people care about when it comes down to an exchange of monetary energy. Only the results and sensation of getting profit for your client (or solving a pain point) will create demand.
Your product or service is basically like an item in a video game that boosts business profitability or your clients abilities and skill sets (everyone is always buying a better version of themselves). What the item looks like or the history of the item or the prestige of the item is not the most important element of gameplay. The increase in business stats or profit is the most important thing.
