You may want to have internet access for your nearby farm house to monitor CCTV, or control SMART SWITCH for generator or equipment, refill water for pets, or enjoy browsing while you're with your work away from home where fiber line is not available. Access Point answer this. So here's the simple and complete set-up and configuration. Remember to attach Router at the CLIENT CPE for WIFI Access..
Needed equipment:
2PCS pair
TPLINK CPE210 or CPE510
2PCS CAT6 OUTDOOR LAN CABLE needed to connect adapter to CPE
2PCS INDOOR CAT6 LAN CABLE needed to connect router to adapter.
TAKE NOTE: Router must be attached at the CLIENT CPE Power Adapter LAN PORT to enjoy browsing the internet
CPE210 Range tested: Best Performance if less that 1000m distance from the Access Point
If distance is more than 1km, it is better to use CPE510
You cannot use CPE210 and match with CPE510
You must use same frequency CPE, means if you use CPE210 as Access Point, then your Client must be CPE210

Thank you so much for a very easy to follow video. I have MacBook and use MacOs. I have a couple questions: Both devices are configured and set up, but there is no internet connection between them. Where have I done wrong? Does the device have to be connected by cable every time a change needs to be made, or is it possible to do it online without a cable? Answer will be appreciated.
You need to connect AP(the 1st CPE configured in the video)to your ISP router. Then the last (client) CPE connect to your new router this will be the one to distribute internet
this may be a stupid question but can i connect wirelessly to the Client (eg. via a wireless camera) or do I need another router connected via ethernet cable to the client.
If you set as AP then check configuration of your camera if it can detect wifi..
I set it up via another router connected to the client I'm using the 710 5G version and have some devices that will only take 2.4. I could never find the client as a wifi network only the AP one but seems CoolRider is possibly suggesting you can have an AP to AP configuration?

Helo. Planning to setup access point from one house to opposite house 10m away. So need 2 CPE correct ?
Yes you need 2cpe. Correct me if im wrong, but 10m is so near, just use lan cable.

The router where the internet connection is could route the connection through this setup?
I want to share internet from one house to another house 500 m away, not only have one connection but multiple? Or do I need a router to create new ip-adress in the distant location and have that connected in between? internetmodem -> router -> CPE210 access point -> CPE210 client -> router - > Ubiquiti LR Access point -> wife connection to devices?

I have 210 and UBNT loco m2. 210 is a AP and loco M2 is client. But i am having a problem to connect AP. From client side i can see AP in. Site survey but I am not able to connect it. Please advise
Make sure they have the same frequency. 210 is 2.4ghz

Yes disconnect it, then connect AP LAN to Router that is connected to the internet. Connect LAN Client CPE to router then enjoy the internet..

You can get same speed. Thats very short distance

It is not required since you only configure the two device to exchange data with each other. Once done then you can connect the internet to the AP

I did all the steps and it worked. Thank you. Just a question please, the distance separating the two devices is approximately 400 meters. The signal he picked up is 50%. Is it good or should I try to answer 70 or 80%?
At 400m you should get full signal bar if no objects in line of sight. Check your line of sight between your cpe again..
Good im trying to configure cpe510 in AP ROUTER mode, pero pag mag click na ako sa AP ROUTER mode may warning message na ganito
"the status of Port0 will change to WAN, and the management access will be disabled on this port.
If you want to managr the cpe device through Port0, go to MANAGEMENT>Web server to configure the Remote Login IP Address"
Paano ito ma solve, mas preferred ko kasi AP ROUTER mode to control download and upload speed ng client

If the distance is just 300 m can just use one
boss hindi ba maglalagay ng distance settings sa sender/Ap? naka zero lang kasi DISTANCE SETTINGS. samantala sa RECEIVER/client nilagyan mo ng 1Km.

Sir okay lang ba iisa lang yung CPE? kasi medyo kapos pa sa budget. I mean, Modem (Converge) > CPE (AP) > Router (tenda). Bali yung tenda na yung mag rereceive and nasa 250m po yung layo.

Hi. To test alignment / signal strength when the Client and the AP are up so high did you need to have a long cable to the CPE or were you connected to the CPE via wifi?
you can use your phone once CPE is connected to the router. just manually set ip addfess of your phone

You should configure as AP and Client as shown in this video. You need router in Client CPE.

Because I have router In my house, garage is 50 meeters from house, wifi to weak, so I need connect thes two cpe as in video, one cpe210 connectet to my main router in house and i install it outside house wall with lan cabel, then second cpe client i install on garage wall outside, then from client cpe i need conned LAN cabel to SECOND router in my garage? And from this router i can have wifi, do i understood right?

Can the receiver unit then connected to wifi router so that at the receiver house can get wireless Internet?
Yes you can connect to wifi router (client or known as reciever) as intended function. Just make sure that the AP is connected too to the main isp router

May i know kung paaano hardware setup nyo sir? Haven't tried aa vlan. Although may vlan ako nakita sa portal nya, try nyo lang tignan.
Does the first unit need to be physically connected to the router of my ISP? Let us say my ISP router is downstairs and the unit is upstairs. Can't they communicate wireless? I would need a long cable and holes in the walls
It cannot communicate wirelessly if the setup is like in the video. You need to connect router via lan cable.

Hello! nice video ... I bought it after seeing you .. but a question: on the instructions that serve the grounding for the antenna .. did I understand correctly? a good shielded ethernet cable is not enough? !!
You may add grounding wire thats theoretically effective. But lightning wont spare anything if it will directly hit by it. Tried once my cpe directly hit by lightning, both cpe and router dead instantly. To sum up, grounding not that really effective.

It should be. Because all routers are standardized to adapt other equipment such as these cpe to work together.

Yes. It is better if you pair it with the same CPE. Ordinary wifi function well with wifi gadgets. CPE is created to pair with CPE. It is better if you have another CPE. All you need to do is to configure AP mode so your client can work with it..
i think if u comnect ur cpe to another wifi other than another cpe's u won't get the long distance i will be used as a wifi adapter but i should have some good range
