    Great tip, seams pointing down. Definitely trying that method makes sense and no flipped seams. Brilliant

      It's a fantastic way to those bottom seams in control, Cynthia! You'll be surprised how much faster you will sew. Keep watching for more fun inspiration! Happy Quilting,

    I just made a pillow cover using the potato chip block. I was inspired to try it from your other potato chip block videos. I used all batiks too and it turned out so pretty!

      Wonderful to hear that, Gena! That's such a great way to make a beautiful pillow. The best part is with all those little blocks you can get just the color combo you need to match any decor! Keep watching for more fun inspiration! Happy Quilting,

    Love this block! Great for using Christmas/Winter/Holiday fabrics, to make hot pads for gifts as well... I forgot about using my seam guide thing to use for quilting...perfect for smaller projects like this as well...

    I appreciated the section where you showed the setup for the diamond quilting. I have never understood the function of the 30/45/60 degree lines on my rulers and now I can benefit from your instructions.

    • @InspiredQuiltingbyLeaLouise
      @InspiredQuiltingbyLeaLouise  2 місяці тому

      So glad it helped! The 30/60-degree angles can sometimes take me a minute to get correct. It's not a bad idea to draw your first couple lines in each direction so you can be sure it's what you want. I've come up with some very unusual shapes before! 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks so much for following along! Happy Quilting,
      Lea Louise

    What a great video. I want to make one also. Great tip on the quilting. I had no idea what the 30 and 90 degree marks on the ruler could be used fir. My next quilting will be the diamond pattern. You're true gem. Love your tutorials!!

      These PCBs have been quite popular, Janet. I've made probably 6-8 different variations in the last couple months and they turn out great. The best part is how easy they are to make. Thanks so much for following along! Happy Quilting,

    Thank you also for demonstrating marking a diamond shape with the ruler.🙄. Also how to use the guide with the walking foot. I haven't used it in many years so I forgot. 😮

      It's part of my walking foot, Elizabeth! My favorite sewing tool. That guide keeps me quilting straight while the walking foot keeps the layers of fabric moving together. They are a might duo for quilting! Thanks so much for watching! Happy Quilting,

    Good morning. I’ve been making prayer quilts, and would like to make this quilt using a center 6.5”. Can you help me with cutting out rectangles and placement of pairs of fabric. The finished quilt needs to be 40” x 56”. I have so many tubs of scraps that I could finally use. Thank you.
