This may be your weirdest comment but when you were giving facts and figures I was thinking 'Misha would be such a good teacher', I genuinely felt like I learned more from you in this video than I did from some teachers oops. I don't know why but you doing this educational kind of video and giving all the percentages was so nice ?! your voice is so calming and nice to listen to (if you've ever considered teaching/coaching in some way you know you'd be good at it haha). I really enjoyed you talking about each flat and showing us inside all of them. There must've been a lot of work gone into this video and I just wanted you to know I really really appreciated every minute of it, thank you!
Ah loved this video! I’m so nosy with other properties! My partner and I are currently in a 1 bed flat, contract ends in Jan. hoping to find a reasonable 2 bed somewhere 😅 but like you’ve seen they’ve all gone up so so much! I’m not even in London and it’s crazy! So excited to see your new flat! So glad you found one!!! 🥰
It will all fall into place for you both Misha and what helpful information on flat/apartment searching in London for young adults. Also, all the best for your marathon. 🏃♀Please let your beautiful Mum know I love the colour of her walls in the lounge room. Love and blessing to you all. ❤❤❤
We live in Scotland and bought 9 years ago. Our monthly mortgage payments are under £500 a month for a detached 3 bedroom house with garden and garage. A house one street over the same just sold(within 5 days) for double what we paid 9 years ago! Market is crazy everywhere.
Misha watch the first 5 minutes there is a orb which is very active going in different directions so it's definitely not dust and it continues throughout the video a couple of people have seen it also. Hope you find good comfort your being looked over and protected x 💖
Here in Spain I pay for my flat 350€, of course I know it’s a different coin, and where I live it’s a small town, but a hear about those prices and it makes me want to cry
Oh my god I feel you so much especially finding somewhere and not getting it down to your job. Currently in this exact same position, but looking in Manchester and I finish my nursing degree soon but need to be up there before my new job starts and struggling majorly to find somewhere that will accept me. Found the perfect place like you and got rejected and I also cried, it’s super soul destroying but you’ve given me hope that the right place will come up if I wait. Massive congrats on the marathon, hope the house move goes smoothly and I can’t wait see the new place! 💕
This is nuts! I was contemplating moving home from New Zealand to London, but damn the rental market is unrealistic to say the least. I pay $220NZD (110 in pounds) per week so it is an absolute steal in Auckland which would be NZ's equivalent to London in terms of cities. I hope your new place is worth the money. I just can't get my head around how expensive it is.
Love this video but who in the real world actually earns the amount they are asking for for rentals . London prices are just stupidly expensive glad I live in my little £500 house a month in Gloucestershire
I live in the wandsworth council tax area, never knew it was one of the cheapest in London?! Feel very lucky & will definitely bear this in mind next time we move 😂
24:00 Of course, a month is calculatory 4.33 weeks. A year has 52 weeks and 12 months. So 52/12=4.33. If you get a weekly payment for work for example, you would also not want to lose those 4 weeks of payment a year.
Good morning misha from USA .thank You for sharing this very interesting Entertaining video from you.now that Had I thought about moving to your Country this video from you helped out Very much. I also want to say just how Much you have done wonderful job on Describing the flats.I could see you Host your own flat hunting series ? Oh gosh I didn’t want to forget your Outfit you are wearing while hosting Is so lovely on you.again thank you for Sharing this part of your life. Takecare Misha
Did Jake go with you to all of the viewings? I don't think I could have come to a decision without someone else there. It's like picking your wedding dress on your own! xx
@@MishaGrimes Did you decide on the apartment you've taken without Jake attending the original viewing? Was it even his first time seeing it in-person yesterday? I Hope the move-in day went smoothly Misha
@@annamyerscough2214 I'm sure that if he couldn't view the flat before moving in he would trust Misha's decision since she's very very educated on all of this and she knows exactly what they both want! She took enough videos for him to see the entire flat anyway. Plus, Jake goes to work often whereas Misha works from home every day, so really a flat that Misha is happy with is their priority.
Is it just me or are there orb like flickers of light floating around!!! Crazy prices for rentals .... even here in NZ, and lets not mention house prices for buyers!!! Insane 😬
I’m a Kiwi who lives in London - can confirm even my Queen St downtown Auckland apartment in a high rise which was a horrendous price - is NOTHING compared to London.
I was just about to comment the same thing it's very active within the first 5 minutes goung in different directions so it's definitely not dust, pappa grimes is watching
Really interesting video, thanks for that. That's my feedback from a french guy who lives since 4 months in London, hope it will help people who are hesitating to come here. Londoner lovers, please don't take that as an offense, it's just my perspective. I never lived in a such expensive city, even if I lived in Paris and Luxembourg. Like you, i spent countless nights, checking every flat on rightmove and other rental websites. I arrived at the conclusion that this city is a playground for millionaire not for people with normal job, especially if you're single. Unless you want to stay in a flatshare until 45 years old and overpay for just a 1 bedroom, there is no solution in fact. I wonder how many people arrived at the same conclusion : leaving London is the right move to stop that rat race life and stop working to pay the debt of your landlord. Anyway, i wish good luck to everyone who stay in this city 👍 Oh and btw be careful with the uprise of utility bills + council tax, the full flat bills will hurt like a Mike Tyson right hook 🤣
I agree with you on the fact that London is crazy expensive but I have a normal job and I love my life here even though I’m on 30K ish and I live on my own because I started renting it last year so it was cheaper 🙃 London is such an amazing city I think
Unbelievably overpriced! You could rent 2 bedroom flats in far nicer areas Eg South Kensington if you want to be near Central London or Richmond if you don't mind being slightly west. Also how about buying a little further out? If you rent a £2500 flat for 10 years, you've simply paid someone else £300,000...
And have nothing themselves apart from their belongings...my dad used to say rent...and just pick up ur things and leave when the rent gets too high... rents will always rise...😢
Renting is an absolute nightmare😢😢😢...so glad both my children bought their homes. Those rents are outrageous 😮

Did Jake go with you to all of the viewings? I don't think I could have come to a decision without someone else there. It's like picking your wedding dress on your own! xx
