You Brits got the light infantry kit figured out vs our IOTVs and plate carrier obsession. Just bought a set of JayJays webbing off a guy here in the states, it's a sweet setup. Thanks for the detailed review!
Proper bit of kit. Wish I'd had it back int' day. I am happy (sometimes) to wear army gear and webbing out in the field even putting up with the weight.
Thanks for watching Mark appreciate it mate ye it's a great bit of kit would have loved using it in the old day's so comfortable when loaded up just got the light fight pack to go with it works well atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Thanks for watching Daniel appreciate it mate I've never had a Alice pack heard lots of great things about it might have to invest in one sometime atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Awesome video. You make for a great model. Cue the music, “I’m too sexy for my kit…”😂🤣😅🥲. I use a similar set up, nothing beats the snug fit of a decent belt kit and the zip sound of webbing being tightened up. Makes me feel like an old work horse. Cheers 🍺, take care and stay frosty. 🌲🦫🇨🇦🏕🇬🇧🌲🐿
Thanks for watching Ian appreciate it mate my modelling days are over 🤣🤣 love this setup some people are not a fan of using webbing but it works for me atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Spot on mate, the medium is a gem! Fit is perfect with the medium. 34" waist...Definitely go Medium. Nothing is too far forward, still in optimal position
Thanks for watching Johnny appreciate it mate ye the sizes are perfect and this setup is the best I've had in 40 year's of using webbing atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Cracking bit of kit Jimmy..if you're in the woods don't think you can beat ex army stuff for hauling gear😉 should do a video of using that alone for an overnighter 😁 btw you can use my bed but using my table is taking the piss 😂😂all the best Lincoln 👍🤙
Cracking set up there Jimmy. Noticed the slip up on the radio pouch "Clansman" showing your age there mate 😆😆 i know some people slag us webbing users off but who gives a F what they think...bloody hell mate I've a set of 58 and a GS Bergen in the garage. All you need now is an SLR but where would you get one from I wonder 😉😉😉
Thanks for watching Derek appreciate it mate ye though i hid that mistake 🤣🤣🤣 it would never fit I don't care if people say anything about me using webbing ect it's so comfortable and it's my choice so as you say fu** them 🤣🤣 I've got a air rifle will that do 🤔🤔🤔 atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
I think if it was new the DPM wouldn't work as it would be too clean Get in contact with JJs and they can usually cater for your needs might cost a bit extra tho
Iv still got my issued camelback daysack but I need to upgrade my belt kit. Iv attached my belt kit to my daysack and it works a treat I could do with this PLCE looks decent and comfortable
Thanks for watching mate appreciate it I was thinking about doing something similar with my NI patrol pack this setup is the most comfortable I've ever had I use it on nearly every week for my wildcamping setup atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Yes mate looks awesome that webbing . You should try Perla lager it's polish it's 6% it's the bollocks green and white can it's my fave rekon you and roony would like it
Very nice, The sizing is a little confusing for these. If I measure my actual waist and it comes to 35inches. It says medium is 35-38, I wonder If this will fit me properly. I'm just a little worried that the padding could be out in front of me too much, causing my legs to bump into it doing high knees and other mobility stuff through the woods. Maybe it will be fine. $26 shipping to the states, I want to make sure I make the right decision lol
Thanks for watching mate appreciate it ye it's a lot of money if you make a mistake best bet is possible give them a call and speak to them I did and they were great I have the medium I'm a 34 waist hope you get sorted atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
American Paratrooper here. I've been heavily considering moving to a belt webbing style over the chest rig style that we traditionally use. How would yoi say this would work with an ALICE style rucksack?
Thanks for watching Danny appreciate it mate ye I'd say it would be a great combination I love chest packs but the webbing is by far the best option for me if fitted correctly it takes all the weight of your pack off the shoulders atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
There's an Airbourne variant which I'm sure this is which is alot more comfortable than any ALICE or PLCE set up I'm rocking my issued one that iv attached to my daysack for hunting and camping but I need a decent belt kit and this is the one
@@somebawldy3789 I'm just going to build my own to complement my M.o.a.B. system, Condor or viper belt with a modified plce rocket yoke, Gsr field pack in the middle with a shitbin (Rocket pouch) either side, my 10x4 grabby bag on the left and a magpouch on the right for 2 collapsible water bottles. At the back above the gsr will be a modified ammo grab bag with a quick deploy tarp and nothing else in it. Depending on the situation I will be able to add up to four rockets up top in addition in place of the Bergen, or remove pouches to go minimal (Water+grabby bag only) Modularity rules :-p
Hello there i don't live far from Jay jays in Brecon i'm from Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales. But there's another military tailor in Brecon it's called "Dixies Corner" i've had a few things made by them, they're good as well. Oh by the way i'll give a shout for the "The Bugout" shop in Builth Wells near Brecon the shop is run by Leigh awesome bloke as well ex-army. Check out his UA-cam channel and his shop "The Bugout" cheers and all the best from the Brecon Beacons
How does it do when you need to sit, or “ruck flop”? I’m interested in this setup in compliment with a chest rig but no one has covered so far if your laying on your back, sitting, etc.
Thanks for watching mate appreciate it I wear a chest rig with my webbing as for sitting running jumping ect it's the best system I've ever used it's so comfortable and work's really well with a patrol pack or main pack hope that helps you atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Thanks for watching Jack appreciate it mate ye it's a great addition to my kit not sure about DPM you could always email them they do kit modifications atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍

58 Pattern they must be rare these days
That's a generation or two/three from my simple 58 Pattern Webbing. I do like it, but I'd still want it in DPM.
