I really miss Veronica Duncan, I mean she had a great relationship with nearly all the Coopers and they all really loved and appreciated her back. Especially Georgie 😂
I really loved Veronica bonding with Missy, she's a great sister figure for Missy, who often gets overshadowed by her genius twin. I wish that Veronica had interacted with Missy in more episodes.
Chuck Lorre, story-telling genius. All of his different shows are all... different. Each is human in its own way. Interesting stories, fully-realized characters that are relatable... man, hitting it out of the park for decades. Respect.
Every time I see Wallis, I think of Murphy Brown screaming at him for always saying "alls" instead of "all" as in "alls I know" bc there is no such word as "alls." Funny, i don't remember anything else about that actor except that one character in Murphy Brown.
@@kilgore1863An added bonus is that Montana Jordan (who plays Georgie) is a native Texan; he's not putting on an accent, he's the real thing. Seeing Georgie showing their house to Veronica...Coopers had a nice ang big home. Having entertainment room in addition to living room and a dinning room and another one in the kitchen. They needed just one extra bed room or two, but still they had an ok house.
Pretty standard for a family back in the day. Don't think middle class Americans ever imagined millions would be homeless seniors bc housing would be unaffordable for them and ppl would no longer care or family members would be in hard times too.😢
Whenever I see Wallace Shawn, all I can think of is 'Grand Nagus Zek'. I wonder how Young Sheldon is doing with that irony, especially given his love of Star Trek.

Meemaw really hasn't gotten over her husband. You can see that in the scene where she visits his grave. She's just trying to go out and have fun and keep it moving because her husband wouldn't want her to sit around crying. That's why...when doctor Sturgis proposed marriage, the idea of being married to someone else brought forth that expression
@Christopher Bingham From the Taylor Sheridan the Director of the smash hit 1883: “When I met Isabel, the whole story, all 10 episodes, went right through my head. I called Paramount and said, ‘I’m going to sit down and start writing…but I need to hire the lead, the female lead, who’s a complete unknown, right now, before I start writing. Because it won’t work if we don’t get her.'” You need to be less stupid - dude.
@Christopher Bingham lol - sure keep digging deeper and longer - "that show" was a 90% on RT and was on many top 10 TV show lists of 2022 - and it was designed around May - dude - ur just making ur sorry-self look stupid
@Christopher Bingham dude - seriously - ur just showing ur ignorance - it was always a limited series - the director called it a "a 10-hour movie with an ending," - go back to ur sad generic TV series
@Christopher Bingham so - in your mind - a great actor is one that appeared on network TV for a 100 episodes - good to know - you realize how stupid that is - right?
@Christopher Bingham but that isn't the point. Humans aren't always logical beings. He showed her each room in an attempt to impress her. Like some species of penguins offering rocks to potential mates. He is showing he can provide for her and offer protection. Obviously they are children, but children do tend to imitate adults.
@Christopher Bingham again, human behavior is illogical. He sees around him male adults providing for their female mates. For instance, George having a full time job to have a nice house for his wife. He then imitates this behavior with a female of his age he wishes to mate with or perform courtship behaviors with. In this case, showing the house he lives in (children often consider the homes they grow up in 'theirs') and offering the girl his room. Thus, attempting to prove in his limited capacity as a child that he is able to provide for her. The same behaviors can be seen in plenty of other species. I'm unclear as to whether you are trying to troll or genuinely confused. Please clear that up for me, if you will. If it is the latter, I am happy to explain the customs to you. If it is the former, please move on about your day.
@Christopher Bingham humans aren't Vulcans, either. I would argue mimicking the behavior of adults to achieve the result George Sr has-a wife he loves-is perfectly logical.
Its disappointing that we didn't get much of a cathartic end for Veronica's character, but it definitely is realistic that she went off to college and having a job and never really interacted much with the family again after that. People move on and especially in those days we didn't always get to know what happened to the people who spent time in our lives but weren't around forever. But we can hope that her time with the Coopers helped her make healthier life choices and avoid the lives her mom and sister had.
@@Johnsgoofymoments we are most definitely getting much more development with her. But iirc Georgie doesn't stay with her, so its not like they get a happily ever after. They get a realistic story where it wasn't likely going to work out no matter how good of a dad and partner Georgie wanted to be. I'm just glad they made Georgie into such a likable character who may not be too bright but his sense of fairness is solid, he was never a bad person, and he really wanted to be a good dad and husband even if it didn't necessarily work out that way. And I hope the series goes long enough to cover the passing of George and how Georgie stepped up to be the man of the house and take care of his mom and sister as well as his child while Sheldon is off in his own academic world living the life they all wanted for him.
