Make your own head base using only a balloon, newspaper, glue and tissue!
Materials needed:
-Balloons
-Newspaper
-Masking tape
-White glue
-Paintbrush
-Toilet paper or craft tissue
-Scissors

My 5 and 2 year old are addicted to these videos. They love watching Tommy work and have come up with some great ideas. One even created his own marionette puppet. Today we’re working on making masks. This has been so helpful during our quarantine in keeping them busy without a ton of screen time. Keep up the great work Tommy!

When you cut the eye holes in the mask, then it's much better. this is just a base

Try crumbling the newspaper really well to make it softer, then it won't pop so easily :)

You can buy a beach ball and you can reuse it because you just have to deflate it by unplugging it so no balloon pops
That's a good idea and will work for all sorts of things. However, the balloon is more proper when it comes to shape, since its the same shape as the human head, well almost but close enough. You can definitely use the beach ball, and see it that works for you! :D
