A two week November safari to South Luangwa, staying at Kafunta River Lodge and Mfuwe Lodge. First week with Naturetrek and then the last week privately. Good views of many birds, including Pel's Fishing Owl; elephants walking through reception at Mfuwe Lodge; close Leopard.

Hi Silke. This was videoed in late Nov 2012 very very hot. From my contacts nothing has changed apart from the Pel's Fishing Owl, which has moved away at the moment. if you can manage it a week in Mfuwe, but perhaps first of all only 4 to 5 days in Kafunta as it is a 45 mins drive to the park. The Elephants only came once, when we where in Mfuwe Lodge, they can of course come when you are out on a game drive.
