Ice Skating is so fun, and its verg simple. Going once you can go from falling on your ass to smooth sailing, going again you can start to speed up, going a third time you can start to have more fun racing and learning to go backwards.
It gets more complicated. Try a hockey stop into a transition backwards around a cone while keeping your momentum, doing backwards crossovers and stickhandling. Its not that hard but its harder than it looks

They always say to bend your knees. I tried this at Christmastime in Sea World where I live, and I fell cuz I didn't have kneepads or the basics. Now I've trying roller skating since my birthday in February. Finally got my legs moving some.

I live in Southern California and my brothers and I or with friends, we always went ice skating in a ice skating rink, it had a arcade game area and a food counter to order burgers, pizza or hot dogs with tables near to watch people ice skate. I loved and got real good at ice skating, good exercise too but mostly fun. My parents first took us when we moved to Southern California and it was funny to see my dad trying to ice skate but he never gave up! My mom was already so graceful in her skating. My older brother would race around with the other kids! Lol… and we held onto our little brother but he wasn’t haven’t it. Every Christmas now, my husband and I go to San Francisco and the whole city is decorated, it’s freezing and we’re all bundled up and there a huge Christmas tree in Union Square and a outdoor ice skating rink, I can’t skate anymore because of a bad knee, we just sit at the outdoor café and drink hot chocolate and watch the families with their kids trying to ice skate. It reminds me of me and my family when I was a kid. I’ve watched several of your video’s, you crack me up and I’m in awe of your acrobats and flexibility! Just please be safe! 😁
