    I personally love how gm gives you the option to just heat the back of the seat. I quite often want a heated back but not a heated ass.

    I’m happy that they brought back having the seat adjustment buttons on the door like the late 90s deville

    So this engine is fantastic in the big CT6, but not so much in the ATS/Camaro? Seems to not make that much sense to me; I think it's also great in the ATS and Camaro.

      Daniel Senti - it feels/sounds better in the CT6. I wouldn't call it bad in the other platforms, it's just better here.

      Huh. Well, I haven't been in a CT6, as that is WELL out of my price range, so it might be true, but I just haven't experienced it myself.

    I literally cannot stand the speed of the gauge sweep. It makes me anxious or something. I hate slow drivers...maybe it's connected lol

    3.6 is the best all-around engine GM has.
    Lag-free low-end torque with decent mpg on low-octane, inexpensive gas.
    They don't have the balls to put the SUPERCHARGED V8 inside.
    This car should have a HALO version V-series.
    I was excited for this car right up till I went to buy on to replace our STS. Ended up getting an SRX instead because they didn't have the XTSV in Red.
    XTS is a better car for the money - although it has less legroom.
    Lincoln Continental feels higher quality, but CT6 is more spacious.

    Does this have the rear-view mirror camera in this years model? The feature that can be left on in the rear view mirror so you will not have to see the back seat. Flip the button underneath the rear view mirror!

    love these review videos. Enjoy your insights. That said I don't get the CT6. It's too big to be a sports car but not large enough to be. sufferer car. Like a S classes rear seats are like being in luxury class. The CT6 back seats just offer more room than a CTS. Nothing special. I just don't see how to pitch this car other than to old people who like the feeling of having a large car

      Thanks Blake - I agree, this is more of a niche car. It's going to be a specific person interested in this car.

    Their ridiculously expensive. It starts just over $50,000 but a few option packages ups the price a lot, I'd rather a T6 momentum S90 for under $65,000.

    Is that 2 L turbo engine enaugh for that big cad ?
    Which engine do you recomend : the 2 L turbo, the 3.6 or the 3 L turbo ?
    Is that cad as reliable as lexus or acura ?
    Thanks !

    Another reviewer compared the genesis to the ct6 and gave the nod to the former. Do you agree?

    • @ChrisOstberg
      @ChrisOstberg 8 років тому

      It really depends what you are looking for. If you value comfort, luxury, and technology - the Genesis is the better choice. If you value driving dynamics and sportiness, the CT6 is the clear winner. Both cars we tested were about the same price, so it really depends where your priorities are.

    I don't get it. This car seems to have all the same displays and interior bits as the S class and 7 series but just doesn't look as luxurious. I'm not sure why either. I just seems disjointed. Maybe I'm wrong but I just don't find the interior luxurious looking

      Blake Swan This isn't the prestige CT6. Plus this car is far from the price of a S class. This model here shown in the video is around 50 thousand I think. The prestige CT6 is competes with the E class really.

    • @swanblake
      @swanblake 8 років тому

      JTL2017 fine the Volvo S90 is way better vehicle than this. Same price.

      Blake Swan In my person opinion I don't like the look of the Volvo but everyone has their personal opinion. Let's just end it at that.

      when the WR videos are tagged "review" there is talking...otherwise its one of their classic silent,binaural videos. I'm glad they do both. WR are enthusiasts not just industry salespeople.

    5.79 wow... that's quicker than motor trend and car and driver. 3650 lbs. also less than a mustang 5.0 gt and jags new xe compact sport sedan.

    • @ChrisOstberg
      @ChrisOstberg 8 років тому

      J Kav - Car & Driver and Motortrend take the average of multiple runs and correct for temperatures and elevation versus my single best time. That's one reason for the difference. Either way it's quick for what it is.

    So silly to complain about people coming to a full stop Where They're Supposed To. then says he knows what to do, and goes no where fast--that's why the vid flips there. Like so many other rushing drivers, most often hurrying up to the next stop sign or red light. He just seems like the kinda guy who'd mow down some kids at a school bus stop, with the bus right there--stop sign out & lights flashing, then clog up the court system with a plea of not guilty--file two more appeals, wasting court time, n keeping an actual innocent person in prison longer because they can't get an earlier trial date...so much for getting out of people's way.

    2.0l will crap out after a few hard pulls... 2.0l will also carbon up and crap out after 100000 km's. Must drive carefully and sell after 3 years or get stuck with an engine replacement.

      Our old 2013 ATS 2.0T with 90,000 miles would disagree. With almost 400 lb-ft of torque with ecu tune.

    Cadillac as well as Lincoln are extremely far from what each brand is supposed to be. No V-8's in big luxury Sedans is a huge let down y'all two need to get it together. hell Kia offers a V-8
