Yes, the headshots and x-ray shots are awesome, but if you shoot someone in the crotch you get an x-ray nutshot. It's pretty amazing.

i loved this demo, i remember me and my dad playing this for 2 hours straight just playing it and switching around the controller, at one moment we even knew how to destroy the tank before it comes in your screen

I love how in this game you sort of come up with sequences of doing it. My best one is planting a tripline between the broken wall pieces of the cafe and then throwing a rock. When the soldiers rush out you get a 2 in 1 and waste only 1 wire.
My only question is why would ANYONE BUY A GAME ABOUT PRECISE AIMING ON A BLOODY FUCKING CONSOLE WITH ANALOG STICKS?!
i dont know,i guess some people just find it easier to aim with an analog stick, if you have a hand that shakes a lot it will be a lot harder to aim, while if your hand shakes a lot and you use an analog stick, shaking doesnt effect aiming that much, sometimes it really fits with games, like flying things, id prefer to use analog sticks, the only plane game i've found that has good mouse controls is War Thunder...
still prefer mouse and keyboard though.

Because it's not supposed to be hard. Regenerative health is bad when it makes the game less challenging, but JC3 is not trying to be very challenging anyway.

A brilliant idea for a game mechanic is if( when your a sniper and far away) the enemy looks for the hole from the bullet and listens for the shot then takes cover for that angle.
so you could kill two people, they would look for you hiding spot while hiding and you could sneak right around.

um you may or may not know this by now but CoD modern warfare 1 was by no means the first call of duty game it was actually the 4th game of the call of duty series which is why the full title of said game was "Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare"
Regenerative health is only for elementary school kids. Real men play with 1 life, no continues and on the hardest difficulty.

well regenerative health is real, human bodies can regenerate themselves at a slow rate, to a certain extent, ex: a human can lose their finger, and eventually, grow it back

Not lose a finger, but down to just below the fingernail can be grown back given enough time and perfect circumstances.
But this doesn't take 15 seconds, recovering from a bullet especially untreated can take up to 2 years, and usually never fully(Growing around the bullet as it was never removed)
What we don't like is the fact that games become too easy and boring.
Sniper Elite has TWO types of medkits AND has regenerative health along with enemies' bodies giving you the exact bullets you need when you need them.

the first shot I took on that sniper was a dual testicle explosion shot. I literally fell out of my chair after seeing that.

That wasn't down the scope, that skims along the side of it. I spent about an hour just resetting a certain point so i could get a legitimate down the scope shot, and when i actually pulled it off properly, i was more than a little gleeful xD

Yes, because we all know how realistic CoD is with its interactive environment, consideration of the laws of physics, and excellent hit detection.

The franchise started with Call Of Duty. Which was for the original Xbox and was set in WW1.
Also all he meant was CoD has no bullet drop-off or wind. Which can be justified by saying that it's hard enough to aim during lag without extra factors to hinder your aim.
I was playing the demo and there was a fuel cap on the armored car at the front of the convoy, and usually I try to shoot it in slow-motion mode when I see the convoy, and I missed every time using slow-motion mode in sniper elite difficulty, and then once I tried again without really aiming or using slow-motion mode and hit it.
The part with the bending neck guy reminded my of dishonored no kills video.
The one thing I hate about this game is how bullet spongy the enemies are if you fail to kill them with the first shot. My PC is sh*t and can barely run it but it was free so I thought I would give it a try. Hit the sniper in the beginning of this video in the gut THREE TIMES before he went down. Okay I misjudged the distance but still, hit a guy in the gut with a Springfield bullet and they are going down and probably not shooting you again.

I loved regenerative health when I was young and terrible at games but now it makes games too easy
You seemed to enjoy this game. I just picked it up for PS3 the other day and I find it to be extremely fun. I'm making the same high pitched squeaks that you make when I play this. I would love to see you play through the whole game because it is more of a stealth game then I thought it would be and therefore I think it would be right up your alley. You never know what is around any corner.
Sniper elite 3 is gona be everything that Dan wanted it to be :) Non linear, Open world and everything else .
On the first level where there was the enemy sniper, I shot him down his scope completely by fluke. I just sat there with my jaw on the floor.
I just remembered I had this on my Xbox 360 from Games With Gold that I got a few years ago but never installed it... after I beat it I think I'll get sniper elite 4 as well ;)

midlifecrisi hates Google + They didn't do it with the first time, which is when it was busted, but when they retried it later with the actual scope and actual rifle it was confirmed to be possible.
But Dan, sometimes it makes sense to have regen health. Like in the new game deadpool, he has regen Health powers like Wolverine

i reckon the fast kill cam bullet mode is better than the skeleton because it feels like your getting shot in reel life

Even on the hardest difficulty it's easy as fuck. A sniper game should be about patience, timing and not shooting until absolutely necessary.
I've been playing since CoD 2, and the first Modern Warfare was what caused the franchise to go mainstream.

That's nice. You obviously weren't with the franchise since the beginning, seeing as there are like 3 games before CoD 4.
If CoD is the most realistic combat simulator on the market then my whole life is a lie. Oh and by the way, the "beginning" of the franchise is Call of Duty, which was released in 2003 and for PC. Just thought I'd let you know.

The intro reminded me of the MGS4 shot from the gun when you went to press continue.
for a sniper game it is dumb because you are never really close to enemies, so when the rare time comes where you actually take damage you can just sit really far away and just gain health back, then repeat. It makes this game way to easy.
Time to listen to shot through the heart again....

I know the Call of Duty series is fun n' all but seriously, the most realistic combat simulator? In war I'm pretty sure you don't see soldiers spinning in circles with a sniper rifle whilst falling from a building just so they can look cool, it's fucking war.
Then you would hate Deadpool's game. He has regenerative health. And he never dies. But atleast it is looking at the comic.
