something I've noticed about this game the nonlethal things are way worse than being killed
while it is true that the none-lethal choices are worse, they are very corrupt people that simply need to learn their lesson and live like the lower class people or realize that life isn't fair. Plus the game requires you to get rid of the targets, like seriously get rid of them, their are no second chances for them
@@madformuse the non lethal Pendleton one is like that too, they get worked to death in their own mine.
This specific one is actually surprisingly fine. Dishonoured 2 reveals that Lady Boyle takes control of her life and begins rebuilding her wealth from her new location.
I love both of the Dishonored videos. They came out in 2012 and I find myself coming back and watching them constantly. You know what I'm gonna go and recomplete Dishonored, I'm in the mood to play now

Gosh, rewatching some of these older Cubed video's is so nostalgic holy heck, used to feel so content with life just watching this guy be happy playing games.

What Dan doesn't realize is that when the guard says "Sick bastard", it's because everyone knows who the royal bodyguard accused of murdering the empress looks like. AKA, Corvo.
Which is why he now wears a mask, im pretty sure he said sick bastard because of the fact that why would anyone want to dress like the assassin murdering everyone.
josue naranjo I wrote this before playing the game, I thought that he wore the mask before he was accused, my mistake. Ironically, I'm at this mission in the game.

Why do you have to say AKA?
The Boyles Party mission was probably my favorite mission in the game... You just blend in with everyone, unless you killed someone in the house like I accidentally did...
When I get the game (in about 2 hours) I will probably do a sort of stealth with no kills but when I inevitably mess it up I will go for a kill everything, instead of restarting.
I never play any game like that.

I love speed running Dishonored. Not in any competitive or professional way, but I like to just load up the game with a new save whenever I'm bored, and just go and try and get as far as possible as quickly as possible. I've never timed myself or anything like that though.
Yeaaaa so I watched about 5 minutes and bought it THE GAME IS FUCKING BRILLIANT BUY IT

If you choose to stylize your game, it can remain timeless in its appearance. If you aim for realism, you will quickly appear dated and uncanny once technology changes
I did the non-lethal option for this mission and regretted it. Better a clean death than kidnapping her to be a sex slave.

I just love this game. Once, I finished it without killing anybody, without being spot, without any upgrades and not even killing the target. It is my favorite game ever.

+Jonjo Pymm in Piero's shop, go to upgrades and upgrade the bolt capacity... I realized you can carry ALOT... each upgrade adds 10 darts to your capacity. so yah! Piero is in the hound pits pub btw.

One thing I loved about this game was when you listened to conversations and read books, there was this brilliant backstory, with multiple plot lines and the effects of your actions really showed through

You can die even an infinite amount of times depending of what mission it is
Alex Mazaru The only times you would die is when you would fall off the thing you tried to get to, which is easily nothing to worry about because the bloody warping skills. And that is just me thinking of stealth version alone.

Nerd could've cut out least 20 minutes if he had talked to party goer's about Waverly Boyle's attire, and he didn't have to knock her out. If he convinced her, she would meet him in the cellar, where badly made wolf mask guy would take her to a faraway land, and she would soon contract the plague.

I have made a theory about what Planet Dishonored is from. It's from Nirn, the same planet Skyrim takes place in. I figured this out because they discovered a continent east from them and noticed more primitive people who use magic and runes, and they seen giant flying serpents in the area. That is pretty much everything I got to back up my theory. Also, they were made by Bethesda.

Steampunk is traditionally set in Elizabethan England but with paradoxically advanced technology based entirely off of steam engines.

you can put someone to sleep by cutting off oxygen without just taking away the oxygen, if you just crush someone's windpipe they're not going to get back up, but if you cut off oxygen to the brain the body will cut off it's systems temporarily, when that happens they pass out but they don't have any permanent damage.
This game was actually based off of London if you go to the DisHonored channel one of the videos is an interview and they said it was somewhat based off London
If blood supply is cut off to the brain, what happens?
The jugular is the main blood vessel leading to the brain.
When you CHOKE someone the lungs don't get air, but it's much faster to cut off blood from the jugular, which is what Corvo does.
To choke someone would take WAY too long.
posession magic is the best extra for stealthy gameplay... why sneak past a guard, when you can become him and walk inside unseen... just find a dark alley to dispose of him afterwards :P
after excessive choking yes, if i remember correctly a person can be chocked for around 8 - 10 seconds to fall unconscious due to lack of oxygen going to the brain, but at around 16 seconds the brain becomes severely oxygen starved and will start to shut down
You can sign the guest book as Corvo Attano on this mission, it doesn't do anything (no achievements or detection or anything) but you can do it
Surprised he didn't use a New Game Plus save for this. But then again, good stealthy-sneaky plays. :D

In my first playthrough I was thinking the exact same thing. "WHOA WHOA NO" Then when they said "He's dead"... I just flipped table. Best part about this mission? You can get about 4k coins from he entirety of the place.
This game brings a whole new meaning to the saying "Oh, RATS"
