Ariana Greenblatt blew me away. She was great in the Barbie movie and Infinity War, but her performance as Ahsoka was honestly amazing
She’s in everything! But she’s been great in all of it

Ahsoka’s complete demeanor change after her final lesson from Anakin felt so earned. The imagery of her being bathed in water and then being up in the sky wearing all white looking angelic was so powerful. She’s Ahsoka The White now and I thought it was an incredible way to show her character growth. Also, it was so amazing to see Hayden as Anakin with good direction and dialogue. This was easily his best performance as the character and it made me realize how much potential he’s always had. Filoni kept it vague, but him flashing between Vader and Anakin felt straight out of legends and almost as if Anakin is an otherworldly being now (Mortis god). He finally gets the chance to be the one to keep the ones he cares about from dying - at least that’s how I saw it. What a special episode.
I didn't think I could like this episode anymore, but then I saw Ross's reaction. Star Wars at its peak.
Also, Ross, there was one time when we saw when Ahsoka didn’t have a headband. It was when we saw her as a baby in the first episode of Tales of the Jedi.

The first two of the three flashbacks happened at the Battle of Teth and the Battle of Ryloth.
Bro when that first Phase 1 501st trooper came on screen I screamed like I was 7 years old again.
I don't think the phase one clones were inaccurate. If you remember in that episode of Tales of the Jedi, they slightly retconned her season 1 and 2 outfit to have more of a neck and midriff area rather than looking like a swimsuit. She only has one lightsaber in the first flashback, so it's before season 3. And also, during the citadel ark, the clones were still in phase one armor while Ahsoka, Anakin, and Obi-Wan all had their season 3 appearances. Fantastic episode, every right choice was made. The camera falling was was such a genuinely wonderful reaction too lol
Oh yeah no I actually caught that the P1 501st Clones were actually accurate after the episode! Dave got it!
Ahsoka was born again. This was her baptism into the Force. It was about letting go of what held her back from the things she needed to do and who she really is supposed to be. That was her training that he had to show her.❤

It appears Dave has retconned what Ahsoka was wearing during her early time as Anakin's padawan. In this episode young Ahsoka is wearing the same outfit as in Tales of the Jedi.
And honestly I'm fine with it, the new outfit looks better than the tube top anyway.

"This freaking guy, it just like guess what, we're gona send Star Wars fans into cardiac arrest." 😂🤣🤭 Ross you've gotta make some of your quotes into greeting cards. I love them. This felt the most spiritual Star Wars since Empire. It combined the past, the present and the future. Yet told a "simple" story of don't give up. Keep moving forward. I love the parallel this episode had to TBOBF "From the Desert, Comes a Stranger" but dialed up to 11 and its center on the titular character!!! The references to Rex and Ahsoka reuniting in REBELS, her tossing Anakin's saber like Luke did in Return of the Jedi, her comforting the Clone and the Clone returning the favor. Senator Organa covering for them!!! We gotta set something up, a roundtable to discuss this episode. Keep up the amazing reactions.

This episode was incredible! I absolutely loved everything about it! Every scene and moment was just so amazing! I thought that the writing was fantastic, the acting was amazing, and the tone was perfect. All throughout the episode I felt like it was super engaging. And I feel like I can’t say enough just how incredible the music for this episode was, I’m so glad that they brought Kevin Kiner back to do this shows score. And I feel like all the performances in this episode was amazing. Rosario Dawson, Hayden Christensen and Ariana Greenblatt were all giving fantastic performances and I felt like they were all doing an amazing job for these characters. And they have completely sold me on their performances for these characters. They all felt like they were fully dedicate and invested to their character and their role. I also feel like I got to talk about how amazing the cinematography for this episode was, there were just some amazing and beautiful looking scenes and shots all throughout this episode. Now as someone who grew up with the Clone Wars this episode just felt beyond special to me. Getting to finally see some of the things we saw in this episode in live action is something I thought I could have only dreamed of as a Star Wars fan. I’m just so happy that Dave Filoni was able to deliver on something so incredible. And I just got to bring it back up how getting to see Hayden Christensen, Anakin Skywalker and Rosario Dawson, Ahsoka Tano meeting in live action just felt so amazing and special. And on top of that, hearing Hayden Christensen call Ahsoka Snips was beyond incredible to me, it just brought back all of those Clone Wars memories. And again seeing the World Between Worlds was so crazy, I totally wasn’t expecting this to be brought into live action. But I’m so glad that they did since it meant giving us this fantastic experience. Also I’ll say it again, getting to see the Ghost in live action actually flying around for more than two seconds was so satisfying, I just love the way it’s design was translated into live action. Now right off the bat we get that amazing dual between Anakin and Ahsoka. I just loved getting to see these two interacting and I also loved how Anakin’s fighting style looks like it was taken straight from Revenge of the Sith. Especially seeing Hayden Christensen do his signature lightsaber spin again was perfect. Now this is where the Clone Wars fanboy in me came out, getting to se Clone Wars era Ahsoka and Anakin was just so amazing to me. This is something that I have been wanting for years and I’m so glad that it translated so well into live action. Not only was it incredible to see Hayden Christensen wearing the Clone Wars seasons 1-2 Anakin outfit, but I think Ariana Greenblatt did an amazing portrayal of young Ahsoka. Also can we just take in how cool it was to see live action Phase 1 Clones for the first time since 2002. And on top of that we got to get a glimpse at an awesome moment of a live action Siege of Mandalore. Even though the scene didn’t last that long, getting to see a little moment from season 7 of Clone Wars brought into live action is just so incredible to me. I also just loved seeing live action Clone Wars era Ahsoka fighting alongside live action Clone Troopers against live action Mandalorian Super Commandos. Speaking of which, despite their screen time of only a few seconds, getting live action Mandalorian Super Commandos and 501st Clone Troopers with the Ahsoka helmet markings was just so awesome and really cool. And finally, after his initial appearance in Clone Wars 15 years ago, we got to see a live action Captain Rex in both his Phase 1 and Phase 2 armors. I was so hyped by this and I just thought that it was unbelievably amazing that we finally got to see this. It was also cool to hear Temuera Morrison voice him for the first time. Although, I still hope that Temuera Morrison actually comes back to play Old Man Rex later in the show. Then there’s that second Anakin and Ahsoka fight. Man was this one awesome! Not only was it cool to see the fighting transition from young Ahsoka into modern Ahsoka, but Anakin’s fights style was perfect. I loved the way they that now that he was representing the Dark Side, his fighting style was mixed between both Anakin and Vader. Also those transitions of Anakin turning into Vader were so clean and super awesome, not to mention some what menacing. Also I’m really happy that this episode was tapping into Jacen’s force sensitivity more. I feel like there is so much potential for that character and this show is doing a good job of gradually bringing him and his abilities more into the forefront. And kind of a minor thing but I really like that Huyangn mentioned Kanan. It’s not that important, but with this and that picture of him that was in the cockpit of the Ghost in the previous episode, I’m just happy to know that he had some what of an impact/importance to this show. Then we see Ahsoka meeting Jacen which was just so wholesome and really just two characters that felt like should have met but I never thought they would have gotten to. And then we see Ahsoka wearing the white robes that we saw her wearing in that final scene in Rebels, which I just loved to get to finally see. And this also means that she has finally, officially become Ahsoka the White. And getting to see live action Purrgil again was awesome. I really loved their design and the way that they moved. The way they were so detailed and lifelike, matched with how their movements looked like the animals they were based on, made these actually look like giant space whale squids. I also really liked getting to see just how massive these things really are especially when in comparison to those New Republic ships. Also the way that Ahsoka communicates with the Purrgil so that she and Huyangn are able to get a ride inside the mouth of one of them was so clever to me. It just felt like something Ezra would have done in Rebels. But it also kind of reminded me of that one scene in Finding Nemo…Anyway, I really hope that we get to see Thrawn and Ezra in the next episode. I just really don’t want their presence to be handled in the same way that Moff Gideon was in Mando Season 3 where they are introduced in the second to last episode, and then they are only really in the final episode. But with how this show has been handled so far I doubt they are going to mess up Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger’s introduction into live action. I can’t wait to see where this episode will lead into next week’s episode. I am very curious to see how the ending of this episode will lead into next week’s episode and how it will impact the future of this show and its continuing story. And I am still loving everything about this show and I can’t wait to see where this story and all the characters involved will go next. I cannot wait for next week’s episode.

Yeah after you mentioned it I can really confirm my suspicion that Rex does have the wrong armor…his live action pauldeon WAS suppose to be similar to phase 2 blys in episode 3, I just thought Dave did this to make a change in the live action canon lmao…it looks really strange when fused together with the live action armor looks kinda like a cosplay.
